After I moved they upscaled their location over to Ventura Blvd. off Las Posas in the big plaza there. They're in between HomeGoods and The Home Depot on the western end of the shopping area. Often when Dear Hubby and I go over to Ventura for the afternoon, I'll plan to stop at this Michael's on the way back home. It's a convenient location with lots of free parking. Over the years, they've stepped up the merchandising layout of the store. I can easily be enticed by the seasonal items they stock, as those seem to get cuter each year. The yarn department can be hit or miss still. Am hoping that they will get one of the newer yarn / fabric departments which are arising out of the purchase of Joann's labels for yarn, especially. Our Sweet Granddaughter influences me to stay interested in crafting, including jewelry making, which she loves. She wants me to teach her how to crochet, which I will gladly do when her hands get a little bigger. She's just turning 6, so it may be a bit too soon and lead to frustration instead of joy. We'll get there, though. Last time I stopped in, most of what I bought was to work on making friendship bracelets with SG. It's helpful to be signed up for Michael's rewards program, as that usually provides extra discounts when it's time to cash out. They run good sales throughout the seasons, so you can usually get a good price on whatever items you're seeking. In my creative shopping Joann's was #1 and Michael's #2. Now that Joann's is gone, Michael's moves into the #1 spot.

I wonder how to check Durham Route #328 trackage for the morning time & afternoon time. Location: Oxnard is needed to be input into the durhambustracker.com Wednesday, 11.21.18 Durham Driver Durham route #328(vehicle Ford E350-450 #110VehicleSecurity Number operated by Pegasus Transit.Com, Richelle-Rachel-Rashell Martinez lost her consciousness while driving turning onto Lobelia Drive & Ostrich Hill on the way to drop off a participant @ Meadowlark Lane, who name starts with a "Y"(students name clearly written in the R&D driver instructions). The driver threw her head back & became delirious(circles in her eyes & then complete darkness-feeling faint(seizure). The aide on board with 5 students out of the 13 students absent(Lily) had to call Durham's bus company Pegasus & report the situation. The bus came to a COMPLETE safe rest on the corner of Lobelia Drive & Ostrich Road. The driver was crying behind the steering wheel & seemed, like nothing, like, that ever happened on, that, route. But, the driver kind of mumbled, that she had some type of surgery. We couldn't clearly understand, what she meant, by, that, or what type of surgery she previously had @ which Medical Center(possibly Kaiser). I can't comment on this for sure, but the GOOD thing, no one got hurt, as, part of this AWKWARD incident. But, for the future of this there should be an investigation set up to make sure, that, all of the special needs driver's are pre screened before the AM & PM Pretrip. We did call (911), as, instructed in the first aid kit box driver instructions. The administration team from Pegasus did show up with 1 of the emergency vehicles on call, at, that, time. Ruth was placed as a sub driver to get everyone home. And, most of the students on board got home, by dusk, as, part of the incident. The incident happened @ approximately 15:00 PM(3:00 PM), after leaving program at about 14:00 PM(2:00 PM). When we were getting on the 101 freeway, the driver seemed to be acting weird. Saying weird stuff, saying Pegasus was Pegasees & that's, when it became obvious, that she is having a health issue, but NOT until we exited onto Oxnard Boulevard. That's when it became very clear, that she is NOT feeling well, as she started looking very tired & sleepy & that's when we decided it's time to pull over & do something about it. Once we came to a complete stop couple streets down it seemed very obvious, that the bus wasn't going to leave, the location of the emergency stop until dusk. 1 of our NEW students leaving On Leeward Way, got kind of irritated about the situation happening on board 1 of the Durham Buses(with contract with Pegasus) & she ended up to be dropped off @ sunset @ dark time, because her family went to the Durham Yard to investigate(instigate) this incident, which shouldn't be happening. All of the Durham Driver's should be going through a Health Check before leaving the yard. Hopefully this type of situation will NEVER repeat ever again. Also, I know, that Monday is a possible holiday @ Arc Ventura & the students riding, that, route(according to R&D driver route instructions) should be notified of the Holiday Season Schedule by dispatch. And, those riding route #328 should be notified of Tuesday's bus route replacement with a permanent Durham Driver, to make sure future incidents are prevented, that all drivers assigned to route #328 Oxnard Bus Yard Location on Lozano Lane are checked fro Medical Issues before they leave the yard.

I ended up signing a yearly contract in September 2024 which was around four thousand dollars! 2 months into our contract we moved out of town I mentioned to the owner Geeta I was going to unenroll her for that reason but she insisted my daughter do their "online" tutoring program. It's a joke. My daughter was not progressing & at 4 months in still working on half numbers & failing her math tests. Frustrated at this point, I spoke to Jen in the office letting her know I was not happy with my daughter's progress. She told me the owner Geeta would be reaching out to me to discuss how to move forward. After months of no contact from Geeta & me leaving numerous messages, I decided to email Geeta in August letting her know I had been trying to reach her. She emailed back offering their online tutoring. After declining because my daughter had tried that for 4 months. She ghosted me again! My husband had to drive to Ventura & go in person to ask for some assistance in the matter & only after that did the front desk text me. A month later I finally get a phone call not from Geeta but from Crystal. Crystal informs me that because my emails are dated in August 2024 I have to pay until that point & I get a monthly penalty for ending my contract. Which brings me to paying for 12 months. When my daughter only used 7 months of "tutoring". It's a shame to be writing this. Their employees need to be versed in every policy when it comes to a client telling them they are unhappy. Not to wait around for the owner who clearly is never going to reach out because she's not going to want to take accountability for a lack of professionalism & mitigate the situation. Take your money elsewhere!

The location is clean and pretty spacious and bathrooms are not too far to get to if you need a break. I have an injury, so sitting is painful and they were able to let me bring a heat pack (no plug). The thing is - which I did not know - and you may have trouble with - you can't adjust stuff - in other words - you can't be moving around too much and moving a sweater on and off and behind your neck for support and so on. Can't kick your sandals off and sit cross legged. That kind of stuff - which can be extremely difficult when sitting for long periods. The rules are strict. If you are comfortable with a highly compliant environment though and you follow the rules, you should be good. I recommend bringing a bottle of water and a snack if you will be sitting for a long time. You can leave it outside of the room. Don't go for a break unless someone is at the desk, you'll have to wait if they are not there. You get screened every time you leave and re-enter and you need to sign in and out. Bring a sweater. Thankfully they keep it cool enough in there to keep people awake. Brains work best at 69-72 degrees I have heard. Good luck!

There is SO much to do for the whole family! There are food vendors galore, a stem pavilion with robotics, flight sims, MANY crafts for kids, planes and helicopters to see up close, sit in and tour the inside! The show is amazing and this years was the best paced, no waiting around for the next set of planes, they just kept coming! Suggestions: take a wagon with chairs, umbrella water and lots of sunscreen! Don't forget the hat and sunglasses to best see those planes up high!

More pyrotechnics went off and shook the ground while I was in there, "Dang! What am I missing???" This truly is the greatest show on earth! Get on their mailing list! We go every year in August and gleefully buy our tickets in May as soon as we get their email. It's a huge extended family day that we look forward to all year! Commit to a full day and you will not be disappointed! This is a non stop heart pounding thrill! You'll see aerobatics, some too close for comfort.... Thus, the thrill! Also incredible pyrotechnics. Get an adrenaline rush, or endorphin rush or both when a Super Hornet F18 blasts through right in front of you then performs feats in the sky and comes back again and again to dazzle you. Yes! Bring ear plugs for kids, but adults who can, just do without for full impact! Loud but such an adrenaline rush! But that's not all. You've got several war theaters represented, WW2 fighters, Korean War planes, and Pacific theater. Plus the aerobatics, the 99s, Judy Phelps, and on and on. Enjoy the entertaining and informational commentary throughout, along with great music. This is a fabulous 4 hour production and you'll agree, its worth every penny and all your trouble getting there. As for getting there... We've perfected our trip so let me tell you how to do it. You're going to be "camping" by the runway: 1. Buy your tickets in advance. They do sell out. 2. Gates open at 9am. You'll pass by tons of things you won't want to miss: great car show, military vehicles and aircraft and police vehicles and aircraft and more. You get to tour, touch and sit in them. If you don't come early to see all that, you'll be torn between missing the thrill show. 3. Visit a food truck to bring to your runway campsite well before noon, so that when you're hungry in the middle of the air show, you don't have to miss the thrill. Food truck lines are long. 4. If you can't get there by 9, get there at least by 11am. Because you'll park far away and they do have shuttles but even with that, you'll be in line even though you're ticketed and checked by security, etc. (Stop whining, it's worth it) 5. We load up a wagon as do many: Bring chairs, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, ice chest with water. Go!
