I always felt informed and knew what was going on, They are family owned and genuinely great people to work with which made the whole experience that much better. It felt like working with my own family / friends. They were professional, reliable, and I could tell they really cared about the quality of their work. What impressed me the most was that they actually finished the project two weeks ahead of the timeline they originally gave me which was such a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend Wolf Renovations to anyone looking for a trustworthy company with great communication and people who truly care about their customers. I have my backyard project coming up next summer and will be calling them as they do outdoor as well.

Let me begin by saying how thrilled we are with the total renovation of our bathroom…read more We were in a bit of a rush as we were leaving on vacation and wanted the work to start as soon as we returned. I called on a Thursday and Eric and his team came to look at the job that afternoon. By Saturday we were in the showroom picking out materials and having a fully generated vision as well as a definitive price. The service was fabulous and we felt fully confident we chose the right company for us. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is that there were a number of times when the communication was less than we expected. It was mostly remediated once I brought it to their attention and I expect they will continue to improve in that area. We have a number of projects planned out for the next few years and I would not hesitate to call Wolf Renovations. I highly recommend this company!

Jose Ramirez and JR Construction completed a major renovation of our home from 2023-2024, and…read morebecause home renovations can be stressful and deeply personal, I wanted to write the kind of review I would have wanted to read before hiring a contractor myself. Anyone considering a major remodel has heard the horror stories: contractors disappearing, delays spiraling out of control, corners being cut, or crews treating your house like just another job. When you're spending this much money and putting your home in someone else's hands, the biggest question isn't just "Can they build?" It's "Do they care?" In our experience, Jose cared. Our project was substantial: major structural work, a large addition, roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC relocation, windows, cabinetry, and whole-house renovation work. Projects like this have many moving parts and many opportunities for things to go wrong. Throughout the process, what stood out wasn't perfection--construction projects are messy by nature--it was how Jose responded when situations demanded judgment and ownership. One example happened during framing. Our roof truss delivery was delayed through no fault of Jose's. By the time the trusses finally arrived, rainstorms were approaching and parts of our home were exposed. A contractor focused only on schedule could have simply said, "We'll deal with whatever happens." Instead, Jose made the decision to push hard. He and his crew--including Jose himself--worked overtime and through the weekend to get the house covered before the weather arrived. He understood that protecting our home mattered more than protecting his own hours. A second example was much smaller, but honestly said a lot about him. During installation of our overhead lighting, everything was technically being installed according to plan. But Jose noticed that the lights didn't line up symmetrically with the windows. Most homeowners probably would never have noticed, and many contractors would have said, "The plans say it's correct." But it bothered him. He volunteered--without us asking and at no additional cost--to reinstall the lighting so the visual alignment matched the windows better. The third example involved our kitchen cabinets. Jose had prior cabinet installation experience and knew they can be surprisingly difficult to get right. Rather than simply delegating the work, he personally installed them himself because he wanted to make sure they were done properly. No contractor can promise a renovation without surprises. Large projects are too complicated for that. But character shows up in the middle of unexpected situations and in small details nobody forces you to care about. If I had to summarize our experience in one sentence: we never felt like our project was just another job on Jose's schedule--we felt like he treated it as if it were his own home.

Unfortunately, after meeting with a representative to review the scope of the project, we never received any follow-up or a quote. During that time, I began receiving a series of marketing emails about why LRL would be a great company to work with, which I didn't mind while I was waiting for the estimate. However after that, I started receiving emails stating that I had chosen to move in a different direction and that I should consider them for a future project. The confusing part is that we never made that decision. we were waiting to hear back. I was genuinely interested in working with them, but it ultimately felt like the company chose not to move forward with us.

Exceptional Quality and Professionalism!…read more We recently hired Bay Quality Construction for a major master bathroom remodel, and the results are absolutely fabulous. Before choosing them, we carefully evaluated several other top local vendors, based on Yelp Reviews. After comparing their responses, pricing, and project approach, Bay Quality Construction was the clear choice. One of the major deciding factor for us was that some of the other vendors expected us to directly work with the subcontractors. In contrast, Bay Quality Construction managed every single subcontractor seamlessly--we only ever had to deal directly with them, which made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. The quality of the craftsmanship is top-notch, but what really set them apart was the experience of working with Diego, Benny, and the rest of the team. From day one, they proved to be incredibly knowledgeable. They patiently answered all of our questions and provided fantastic suggestions throughout the process. Diego, in particular, had some valuable ideas for our linen closet and other design elements that completely transformed the functionality and look of the entire bathroom. He also handled the city permit process seamlessly, which was a huge relief and something I highly recommend letting them manage. Their work ethic is unmatched. They went completely out of their way to ensure every detail met the highest standards. Even the small things didn't go unnoticed--like how meticulously they cleaned up the workspace at the end of every single day. I know Yelp reviews helped us, so I am putting our experience also here to help other viewers make decision. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional contractor in the San Ramon or Tri Valley area who will handle your project from start to finish without the headaches, I highly recommend Diego, Benny, and the Bay Quality Construction team! High Level Work Completed: a. Tile Flooring b. Glass Shower and Shower Wall Panels c. Cabinets and linen closets d. Heated Floors e. Door Replacement f. Fireplace demolition g. Painting h. When we purchased our investment property in the Oakland/Emeryville area, it was in extremely poor and unlivable condition. We needed a complete transformation. Tito not only restored the home, but brought back its original Victorian Craftsman beauty while thoughtfully modernizing it for everyday living. It is in HIGH demand. He also built an entire ADU as part of the project, and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. What impresses me most is that 15 years later, the house has held up remarkably well. That longevity is a testament to Tito's craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way rather than taking shortcuts.
