Every once in a while they send someone who's problematic, but if I have to kick someone off the job for bad behavior they always make sure to make it up to me. They also offer benefits to you, from the first day of employment. It's not top tier coverage, but it's far better than I've seen with any other staffing agency. If my rating was based on that side of things alone, I'd give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, there are three main negatives when it comes to CompuCom - 1. Their onboarding process is the most disorganized I've ever experienced. It took 1-2 hours of e-mail and/or phone tag per day, over two weeks, to finally get all my paperwork and benefits in order. It's not remotely user friendly and much of it cannot be completed online. You will also need to log into several websites regularly to keep track of things like paystubs, enrolled benefit info, timesheets, etc. Everything seems to have an entirely different portal, if it is online at all. 2. They go low on rates. You will probably be submitted at almost half the rate competing vendors are submitting candidates for, which *does* make you competitive but if you're qualified for the job you are missing out on a substantial amount of money. 3. Your first paycheck is sent as a hard check, no matter how far in advance you set up direct deposit. In my case, they didn't send me my first paycheck until I had worked 3 complete weeks.. If they smoothed out those few issues, it would be a great agency to work with.
