Pacific Alarm is a very unreliable company to use as an alarm service provider. I have not done business with Pacific Alarm for many years and I just got a notice of collection for a $ 200 bill. I called Pacific Alarm's office and talked to a manager who got no idea of the collection, or if we ever had any service and she got upset that I was upset about being on collection even though I have no contract or a business relationship with them for many years. When I told her I wanted to talk to a manager since she was unable to give me an explanation, she got upset and hanged up on me. Five years ago I contacted this company on behalf of a tenant and the salesman Mr. Eddie stood me up 3 times on appointments where he never showed up or called to cancel. Anybody would expect a minimum degree of decency and awareness in order to do business with an alarm company where one would expect them to respond in case of an emergency. Well, Pacific Alarm has proven to be very unreliable and not know what's going on in their business. This is definitely not the company to do business with. read more

I'm waiting at this point since February of 2016 to get their sales team to provide me promised compensation for a botched installation that could have been easily avoided if their supervisor had been here the first time. It took over 4 revisits from the 6 installation appointments I had to figure out how to install the alarm contacts in the windows, because the sales team did not properly preplan. The sales team promised a smooth installation and that they knew what to do. Instead I have all these needless holes in my windows and had to miss work 4 extra days so they can keep coming back. I would think after 2 tries a supervisor would come out, instead I had to demand his visit, which was what it took. I'm still waiting for compensation for the 4 extra visits. I can't believe that they are billing me at this point as if nothing happened. Their communication has been stall tactics hoping I'd forget about it. Why do I need to follow up? This company Pacific Alarms is downright unethical. I am a successful entrepreneur having employed hundreds of people over the years. I utilized the services of this company from February of 2011 until early 2013 at which point I made a decision to go with an ADT PULSE system which allows me to ARM/DISARM my home from my iPhone. I did receive a call back in March from them after I cancelled my service where they tried unsuccessfully to keep me as a client. I thanked them for their service for the previous two years, put down the phone and thought nothing further about it. I received no further written communication from Pacific Alarms until I opened my mail in early May only to discover a collection letter for over $300! They claimed that the contract was automatically renewable on Feb 1 and I owed them for the period until February of 2014. When I phoned they were arrogant and refused to do anything. When I asked to speak to the Branch Manger they refused simply handing back to an accounts receivable clerk. This is one bad company without regard to ethics or the well being of their customers. I was a client of theirs for two years, paid all invoices on time over the period of the relationship. the result - they send my file to collection thus messing up my credit scores all without ever sending a single communication to me in the mail. After more than 20 years of prompt monthly payments, we cancelled the alarm service. They sent me a bill for the balance of an entire years worth of the service. They pointed out an "automatic renewal" clause in the contract. The issue has yet to be resolved. read more

My experience with this company was fantastic. We needed to work out a quick installation and they were very accommodating to our tight schedule. Not once did they fail to send an email or get us the quote in the very fast timeline that was required of them. Not only that but they are a great example of customer service. They were super communicative during the process of installation and were consistently letting us know where we where in the process. Our experience was with Sky and we would gladly work with him again. He is polite, helpful and excellent and understanding customers needs. I was burglarized at my workplace and had these guys install an alarm system for me. If I recall correctly, they came out three different days and tied up about 15-20 hours of my time. I had a rather special situation and this is why it took so many tries. They were never able to successfully fulfill my request (one door was to be allowed access (not trigger my alarm) during working hours). On top of this, being on a month-to-month lease I was asked by the landlord to vacate the premises about 6 weeks after the install. Pacific Alarm came and removed their equipment and I thought that was that. Today, I got a call from a debt collection agency asking for some $2000! I'm waiting for paperwork to find out exactly what is going on but these guys never indicated that they were going to go to collections or in anyway attempted to collect on my contract. It's certainly not my fault that they were not able to get the alarm working properly or that I had to move. Thumbs down for this company for their sheer greed. :-( read more

This has to be the worst alarm company. Had a tech come out to service my alarm system since I had trouble with arming it at the end of the day. After a few hours of him being on the phone with a coworker. He said that I was all set and ready. I was very happy till days later someone pointed out that the door sensor wasn't protecting the door!! I tested the system and to my surprise they where right. So what was the tech doing!? We have had numerous false alarms which brings me back to the office or woken up in the middle of the night plus the cost of police showing up multiple times. Never get Pacific Alarm! The service is plain bad. We had a battery problem, so we called and they didn't have a technician available on call since it was after hours. Then after god knows how many calls they found a technician and he calls us back and left a voicemail since we were outside trying to fix the problem. I called him back immediately, he never picked up nor did he call back. Then the next day I was on the call again with the service dept, and they tried to push me to make an appointment that costs 100$ for the first 30 min, so I asked how do I change the battery myself? The lady started telling me basic things like "ok ma'am open the box and take the battery to RadioShack and then put it back etc", she neglected to mention, however, that the battery is the big black box inside the service box! Ok, we did change it and its still beeping all night! So now I called again and all they could say that I need to go and check/replace the batteries in the room, which we did already. I'm having the technician appt for tomorrow. They won. Lame firm with horrible service people that really don't have a clue about what they are doing or supposed to do. read more
