Charlie came recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint when replacing our fully carpeted two story house with engineered wood. He was very patient leading up to the job as we kept on changing our mind on materials and colours, never did I feel rushed into making a decision. It was a hectic 3 weeks for my household of 7 and a cat, all off school and work. His very patient men worked carefully around us and completed the downstairs the first week in time for Christmas, then the upstairs the second week. I was pleasantly surprised the speed they worked in removing, preparing and laying the floor. Charlie estimated it would likely take 2 weeks, the only reason for the job to stretch into the third week was due to the tropical rain storms and a slight delay on the custom made pieces for the stairs, two things Charlie did not really have control of. If any materials ran out, Charlie was very quick to keep the guys moving and bending over backwards to keep his men working by bending over backwards to replenish what they needed. Charlie personally came round at the end to address the snagging list. He certainly cares about the customer being happy, hence my willingness to write this feedback. I found this contractor through a head hunter agency because I didn't believe in Yelp, Google, or Angie's List. I was willing to pay the agency to get a guaranteed legitimate contractor since I had many bad experiences with previous remodels. I have to admit Pacific 1 was definitely worth the money. The contractor was at the job site about 95% of the time during the duration of the remodel and made sure every aspect of the job was going according to the time schedule written in the contract. He also kept me informed of any problems which arose during the work so that I can make the decision before continuing the work. His eye for detail and any flaws he saw were remedied by his knowledge of how to solve the problems. He also did follow ups after the job was completed to be sure everything was working.
