This was the first time visiting this shop. I have always heard really good thing from people that have been here. I follow their Instagram page and really like quality of work that the tattoo artist create. I came in for a very small tattoo and Fili was my tattoo artist. I am very satisfied with how it came out as well as the customer service. Fili was very clean through the whole process. He was also very professional and out going! The environment is super cool and laid back.

Out of the the few tattoo shops I've been to Herchel and his team at pachuco were fantastic. From the minute I walked in I knew I found my permanent spot. Would recommend to anyone who might be looking to get work done. Herchel took an idea that was floating around my head for an entire year, and put it to paper.

    I love it !!

So I've been wanting a tattoo and my sister suggested coming into pachuco tattoos. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions and ended up doing my tattoo had a wonderful experience didn't get my tattoo artist name but he was very nice willing to do my tattoo on his day off. I would highly suggest to come in and check it out And might just decide that you need your tattoo that night. Thank you and will be back again:)

I've been following a few of the Baron artists on instagram for a while. I really like most their style is fine line. I found David and really liked his style of gentle smoke and transitions. It was easy to book with him through their website link. David's a bit shy but when I came for my appointment, we worked together to lock in the final design. It was a smooth session. The studio is very open and close to other chairs so I appreciate that he had a screen set up to make our session more private since the piece was in my upper thigh. He provided a complimentary first touch up.

From the very first consultation to the final touch-up, the entire experience was professional, comfortable, and stress‑free. The artist took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and turned my idea into a design that was even better than I imagined. The linework is clean, precise, and super detailed; the shading is smooth and natural, and the overall composition is perfect. During the session, the artist was gentle, patient, and checked in on me regularly to make sure I was okay. The studio was clean, hygienic, and had a really relaxed atmosphere. I'm absolutely in love with the result. It's beautiful, meaningful, and done with so much skill. I highly recommend this artist to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and caring tattooist. I will definitely be coming back for my next piece!

I'm giving two stars because truly one of the tattoos I got here was absoloutely amazing, and…read moreeverything I could of dreamed of. But it went south from there. I did need to cancel my original appointment early the morning a day prior due to being ill with GG, and I was informed I would need to place another deposit. I agreed and specifically asked whether that additional deposit would apply toward the tattoo, and I was told that it would. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told it did not apply and that this had been communicated via text. After reviewing the messages, I did not see that clarification reflected. I did not argue because I respected her and complied. I also want to note that I was not made aware of any written shop policy regarding deposits in this situation. Based on the wording of the conversation, it came across that the additional deposit was for accountability due to the late cancellation, rather than that the original deposit would no longer count toward the tattoo. It's also worth mentioning that policy isn't anywhere nor was communicated to me. During the session, the artist stopped partway through because she wasn't feeling well, which I completely understand and respect. However, once the tattoo healed (it has now been over a month), I noticed visible shakiness in the linework, inconsistent line weight, and areas of blowout that were not apparent initially. I want to be clear that I genuinely love the tattoo concept itself, my concern is specifically with the execution. I paid a significant amount for the piece, and while I am not seeking a refund, as nice as that'd be, I was disappointed by the technical quality of the finished linework. Especially receiving a tattoo from this artist before and it being absoloutely amazing. So trust was broken there as well. As it healed I didn't really notice at first how poorly done it was. So later, when I reached out to book my next tattoo, I did not receive a response and noticed I was blocked from viewing the artist's stories, which made the lack of communication feel exclusionary and unprofessional. My intention in this review isn't to place blame, but to ask for acknowledgment. I value transparency, especially with permanent work. I paid quite a bit for very very poorly done healed work. It ended up being over $250+.

Alex's communication was great. We were able to get an appointment time on her birthday that worked for us. He was very patient as well as supportive since this was my daughter's first tattoo. He had her take a break half way through the session which helped her. My wife wanted a smaller more simple version which he also was able to do. Everything was great and a wonderful first experience for my whole family. Thank you Alex!

Saw his work and thought...wow I think I finally found an artist that I would like to have a tattoo from. Made an appointment for the next day and decided on a big eagle on my back as my first tattoo. Came out INCREDIBLE! The detail and lines in his work was amazing. Within the next few weeks I decided to have him do a lion and St. Michael on my chest and I could not have been happier!!! 5 months down the road, decided to add to my back and make a full back piece. All done by Spidey. Not only is he a great artist, he's also an awesome and friendly person. As long as Spidey is around, I will not EVER go elsewhere for a tattoo. Check him out! You will not be disappointed. Oh, forgot to mention, my lady and her mom love Spidey and his work so much they have multiple tattoos from him as well!!!! Thank you Spidey and team at American Vintage!!! Keep up the great work and awesome shop!!

UPDATE: So a while…read moreago I posted a negative review for this shop as I was extremely convinced that the tattoo I asked for was not what received . ( I will post what I wanted v what I got below). For the record the original tatoo artist was Jason, and for the record if you read this sir I still hope you step on a pile of red ants. Bare foot. Holding a cold refreshing cold beverage which you drop. From pain. F u. So I rant, post on yelp a complaint as Yelp is the real culprit here. I went to this shop based off the recommendation of yelp. Not word of mouth, or any impressive portfolio. Just local SEO and the algorithm deciding what's best in my location. For this, yelp you suck; you're over saturated, and your reviews are phony. Duh. My bad, I forgot it's 2025, stop believing media apps.duh. So eventually owner, Chris, responds stating that that's awful. He feels bad and that he would love a chance to make it right. I figure sure, why wouldn't I want to make the situation correct? Ultimately I go into the shop and tell him specifically the points I didn't agree with about the tattoo, and the points that I said I actually thought were impressive. He had decided overall the entire thing needs to be taken off and that's what he was going to do. Now I don't know this guy, but I've known a lot of people in my life, and my impression off the jump was that he's the type of person to come out the gates hard saying he can fix a problem, or find a solution for something, but he's probably not gonna do it. Give some time and he'll fizzle and not come through on his word. Overall, that's exactly what happened. I let him take the reins, and ultimately he decided that I'm too unappreciative for his offering of fixing my tatoo. The price to laser the tattoo apparently is more expensive than what I paid for the tattoo, and therefore I should be walking in with glitter shooting out my eyes with appreciation. On our first session personally I was not in a financial place to tip him, and I really didn't know if this was the type of situation to tip him. But after that first session, he's entire vibe changed and I really think it was because he did not get tipped. His vibe said, " what's in it for me." Vs "I'm doing right for the sake of right." Which is the type of person I usually do business with; ppl who go extra miles to make a customer happy. After ghosting me, and you know you were, six days no response, he then starts to bring up the word cover- up. As if the amount of sessions needed we were pursuing was ultimately moving towards a cover-up. This is so triggering to me because this is exactly why I flipped my shit the first time. Both these men decided to make decisions about what's going on my body without talking to me or getting my consent. This is not OK. If we were doing a cover-up, then we wouldn't have lasered the entire circumference of my ankle causing so much recovery on my part. We would have just done the minor edges and little things that I had talked about specifically to you like the rosebud and the banana leaf. Straight up Mr., I'm not appreciative because I didn't want more pain, so you are correct Chris, but bottom line if we were choosing a cover-up, this word should have been brought up when we first talked about the tattoo and what we're going to do in the future plan. The shop gets one star because they can't listen and for a woman's body in 2025----when she tells you what she wants and you guys make a decision about her body without talking to her and getting HER CONSENT FOR HER BODY changing the plan this is not OK.

I started going to Jason back in my 20s, and now that I'm in my 50s, he's still the absolute best in his craft -- if anything, he just keeps getting better. Jason can do everything: stunning cover-ups, beautiful watercolor pieces, and all styles including American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, New School, Black and Gray, Realism, and Japanese Tattoo Style. He's incredibly versatile and adapts to whatever idea or vision you bring him. Every tattoo he's done for me has turned out even better than the picture or concept I had in mind. What really stands out is his professionalism and attention to detail. Lefty's Tattoo is exceptionally clean, professional, and welcoming. The entire team (Josh and Jay in particular) is kind, respectful, and you can tell they truly care about their clients. The equipment is always sterile, clean and up to date, and the environment is relaxed but focused.
