Firstly, the receptionist KellyAnn was so friendly and easygoing, yet efficient. I was quickly given an appointment and to my surprise, I didn't have to wait weeks for it like in the past with my other Audiologists. I had my hearing test with Mira Rudic, an experienced Audiologist originally from Eastern Europe. I am always very curious about the science of my body, and as we went through my test results point for point, we discussed my specific hearing issues and what hearing aid technology options would best benefit me. There was zero up-sell. Zilch. She asked lifestyle, preferences, behaviors, and aesthetic questions so I could drill down through the options quickly. Mira has a 7+ year background in health coaching too, which may be why she is so customer-centered and patient. I took quite a while getting my hearing balanced with the Signia T AX aids, and Mira never made me feel rushed even though I went well beyond my appointment slot. In short, I returned to have adjustments and I was even happier with my purchase and the whole experience. Many people recommended I go to Costco, but research proved that the new Signia Hearing Aid technologies that my hearing loss will benefit from isn't found in even the top end models there. I can easily recommend this HearUSA location for Audiology and hearing aids. I did a ton of research and though I spent more for an upgraded model than Mira had first recommended, I feel confident that I made all the right choices.

I have been coming here since before I can remember. As there was a three-year gap between my most…read morerecent visit and the one before, they asked me to update the patient intake forms, and for a vast majority of the answers relating to long-term medical history, I wrote 'you guys'. When I was younger, I visited the Redmond office, but since I don't remember too much about it other than the people were nice and there was a pond with ducks outside, this review focuses on the Bellevue office and my most recent visit. The office is located in what I call "Medical Row" of Bellevue, near the new-ish hospital. They have a large parking lot and parking is easy to find, although the lot itself is a bit tricky to get in and out of, with sharp angles and steep inclines. Evergreen is on the first floor, all the way in the back, just follow the hall until it dead ends. The waiting room is nothing fancy, though they do have magazines. I've interacted with several doctors and receptionists in the years I've been coming here, and everyone has been friendly, helpful, considerate, in short, everything you want your hearing professionals to be. They keep up with the latest technologies and are happy to walk you through the various options and explain why this or that might be the most sensible choice, while letting you be the one to decide. The prices are more than reasonable (although why insurance doesn't cover hearing aids, I don't understand but that's a separate issue) and care of the instrument is included for life. They accept insurance for things that can be billed, like hearing tests, and also offer classes and other informational programs. Hearing loss can be scary and frustrating, so it's important to find professionals you can trust. I found them at Evergreen.

First off they hurt my ear. I literally thought they burst my ear drum and it took a few days for that pain to subside. I'm okay now so thankfully I don't think they tore anything. They sent the molds to the wrong location so I had to come in again. Throughout the process they were pretty polite so I didn't mind taking time to get to the office. They hurt my ear again. All this is fine but when it came to payment they didn't send me the bill for a long period of time. I did get a few from my insurance company stating how much they were willing to pay the clinic and later they changed that number. After the insurance number finally posted a few months after the appointment I expected the bill from the clinic. The message came but with fury. They were accusing me of attempting to dodge the bill saying they had sent multiple invoices to my house and to my email. I had not received anything via snail mail, and a quick search in my inbox showed I did not receive any email invoices other than the one sent right before they sent me the text message. I asked them for proof that they've been attempting to contact me but later I did notice on the bill itself it showed the date for when the insurance paid them. It was a few days ahead of the day they contacted me further supporting the fact that they were never going to send me a bill and had not before they got their money from insurance first. Long story short. The experience was below par but what's keeping me away is how they treated me when it was time to pay. For the record I paid immediately and wish to not have any further contact with this clinic.

I was looking for an ENT in the area and this office came highly recommended from a couple other…read morephysicians I'd spoken to. After checking out their website and reviewing the bios of their many doctors, I decided to request an appointment with Dr. Laury. It was easy to set up an appointment and with two offices in Issaquah and Bellevue it's pretty easy to find a time and place to accommodate almost any schedule. I've now been to both offices and they are both really clean, updated and modern, and beautifully decorated. I love the Issaquah location particularly with the incredible view from the top floor and the orchids filling the waiting room. I was also pleased that they took my insurance and billed them for all my procedures making paying my copay simple and easy. My wait for the doctor has never been very long and all of the medical assistants I've worked with have been excellent. I liked Dr. Laury immediately. She has a casual yet professional manner that makes you feel at ease. She speaks to you like a person, which I know is a strange thing to say but some physicians seem separated from that aspect. She's a great listener, empathizer, and I really appreciated how she explained everything in language that was appropriate to my level of understanding. After allergy testing we decided to proceed forward with a small nasal surgery that involved me being sedated at Overlake hospital. Scheduling this appointment was about my only frustrating experience with this office. It was really difficult to communicate with the schedulers who had to work in between the patient and the hospital. The surgery itself went well and despite having a significant complication the night after, I was still really pleased in the ability to get in touch with my physician, and at one point the on call physician and have them help me navigate the challenging circumstances. When Dr. Laury saw me for an emergency appt the day after, she was incredibly thorough, gentle, and compassionate. Even my husband was super impressed with her knowledge and skill. Luckily I continued to improve from there and really my only other issue was with communication from the front desk and trying to get messages back to Dr. Laury and her back team during the healing process. While everything didn't go exactly as planned, rarely does it when we're dealing with complicated human anatomy. The point is how are these unforeseen events handled, and I was thrilled with Dr. Laury's treatment from start to finish. My husband liked her so much he's hoping to get a referral here for his own procedures this year. Highly recommended.

As first time parents dealing with feeding issues, we were already stressed and looking for guidance from a medical professional. Instead, we were met with a dismissive doctor with terrible bedside manner. He made us feel guilty for subjecting our daughter to a tongue tie revision and oral therapy that had been recommended by our daughter's ped and LC. After a brief examination of our daughter he said everything looked fine. We asked whether a swallow study might help assess her coordination, but were advised it was unnecessary as long as she was gaining weight and having wet diapers. We left the appointment feeling completely dismissed and unsettled. We ended up scheduling an appointment with Seattle Children's OT for a second opinion and they immediately noticed something was off and referred us for a swallow study. Our daughter was diagnosed with a severe swallow coordination disorder with silent aspiration. She was admitted to the hospital and required an NG tube to feed safely. We're grateful we trusted our instincts and continued advocating for further evaluation for our daughter. We do carry some guilt for not pushing harder at the initial visit, knowing it resulted in weeks of unsafe feeding and added stress for our family. If you're a parent and something feels off, trust that feeling and do not hesitate to seek a second opinion.

They are in network so I decided to commit to the long drive while in their care over the next few years. The care and expertise from the team was amazing. Unfortunately it's been a billing nightmare for the last seven months. You would think that they would be familiar as an in network provider for Regence​ and that billing would be a smooth process. The billing department says they were informed by Regence​ that my benefit amount was 3,000 and that the Regence limit would not apply. My insurance company stated to me that they paid their contracted provider the agreed upon charges for the product and services. Unfortunately this is somehow a surprise to the billing department and they do not believe that they were paid as they thought they were going to be. Next Eastside Audiology tried to balance bill me for $2,500. Regence informed me this is not allowed from their in network providers in Washington State. Seven months later and this is still unresolved. I honestly wish that I had never gone with this provider. Now I understand that east side audiology would've offered me a lesser technology if they had properly understood their contract with Regence. I can't believe this and the next time I need a hearing aid I'll just go to Costco and have it programmed by a local provider.
