Carnitas bowl, Arnold Palmer and elote
Christina B.

First time trying this and holy moly it was amazing! The carnitas bowl was huge and delicious. The tacos were also delicious. Really fresh ingredients. Must try the elote - it's spicy and yummy. Also recommend the lemonade, not too sweet

It was the WORST taco that i have ever had. And that is coming from a taco lover. The price for 2 tacos was not reasonable what so ever.

We found this place last fall. We live in Cockeysville and bike along the NCR. I love this cozy…read morefriendly restaurant with great food and service and frequent it at least once a week. We have NEVER had a bad meal. The pizza is wonderful. They have a gluten free option. The portions are generous. I particularly like their apple and fig salad. They have great wings with a generous portion. My friend likes their fresh tuna salad and bowl. Again generous serving size. Very diverse menu options to satisfy everyone. This is a local gem It should be supported by the community. The owner is very philanthropic. He supports local charities churches NCR etc by donating 20 percent of collections for that day for people who come in and mention the name of the charity. Who does that every week on Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the year? Please support this restaurant!

Needed some guidance on what to order and my server suggested the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. It was delicious and fresh! My child ordered the pizza. It was so cool watching them put it in their brick oven! I had to sneak a bite of his pizza since they are known for pizza. Did not disappoint! The crust and sauce were extremely fresh and light! Had more cheese than I like. But my child was loving it!!! When we come back, I'll probably order the margarita pizza since that is more my speed of cheese, sauce and crust ratio! If you want to sit indoors there are plenty of table and if you'd like to sit outdoors there is an adorable patio with umbrellas! You can tell this is a beautiful family owned restaurant with plenty of stories and character. The interior looks like a barn which my server later told me it was and got renovated to the restaurant we see today. They've been open for about nine years. The best word to describe this restaurant is charming. I loved it. It is located off a main road so I would advise being careful with parking. I was unaware that there is a parking lot in the back of the house next to the restaurant! Google maps didn't show me that so I was slightly concerned when I pulled up but found the big lot quickly.

Because the burgers are made with locally sourced beef (it is cattle country in northern Maryland) I chose a burger. I added French fries for an up charge of $2.00. Everyone's lunches looked great and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. The salads looked fresh. My neighbor's cheesesteak looked super and she liked it. Other neighbors had Maryland crab soup (red version) and they said it was very tasty and had crab in it. A few gals had the half pound of shrimp and I scored one! Large and very good. Seasoned with Old Bay. My burger was excellent. I didn't get any toppings other than lettuce and a slice of tomato. I wanted to taste the beef. And it was delish! Definitely a keeper! And the bun was delicious! Kind of a sweet tasting bread that was toasted just right! My french fries, on the other hand, weren't wonderful. Lots of small pieces that were very oily and unfortunately had lots of black spots inside the fries. I said something to the server and I asked if I could get a fresh batch. The new ones were better and I shared them with the gals and still had some to take home. A fun fact is that there is a liquor/wine/spirits/beer store attached to the restaurant. Got a bottle of Irish Cream to take home! I definitely want to come back to this restaurant. If you're at the Maryland/Pennsylvania border, try this place. You will enjoy it.

I'm not sure what it is, but the products here always seem to be better. The cashiers are always friendly and talkative. The building is large and wide with two handicap accessible entrances. The parking lot is large, but I didn't see any handicap parking spaces close to the entrances. My wife and I don't shop out here as often as we'd like, but we do, it's always pleasant.

The market itself is bright, well-organized, and clean; they have produce, meat & poultry, fish & seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, a deli section, and a bakery. We decided to pickup some of their storemade donuts, that seem super popular with the locals, and we're glad that we did! Their glazed and the crullers were airy and soft, and they were really tasty! Staff were very friendly, and the staff over at the bakery section were more than happy to provide the favorites! Cashiers could be more friendlier - the young individual that we had to deal with was more focused on having a conversation and never greeted us - so weird. Ample parking in their lot. +good donuts +not-so-friendly cashiers +ample parking

I'd never pictured messing up a breakfast sandwich in a little country market until now. Almost…read moreimpressive how they did it. I have no problem with a store owned by Indian people whatsoever- probably for the best when it's an Indian restaurant or 7-11. But when it's a little country market in northern Baltimore County, I have to wonder if outsiders really get the nuance of a scrapple and egg sandwich (crisp on the outside, soft on the inside), cup of joe or anything else about our local cuisine. This was quite atrocious. A gelatinous heap of meat substance and egg on a 2 inch square of bread for almost eight dollars. Where does one find such a cartoonish rendition of bread? It looked like what a child would serve at a tea party. I'm not exaggerating- the bread slice was not much larger than a saltine. A piece of cheese would have added another dollar to the tab. On a bagel- add ANOTHER buck 50. We're talking approaching 10 BUCKS for a breakfast sandwich! It's really my fault. When I walked in I felt as if I'd slipped into another dimension. Expecting a little country store I was suddenly in an inner city bodega. The aroma of the pot of stale coffee on the counter forewarned any further encroachment. It looked like an unkept 7-11 at best- not what one would expect in the Hereford Zone. This would all be overlooked if it was a good sandwich. For the record, you can travel another 1.6 miles to Fill'Er-Up in Maryland Line and get a great authentic breakfast sandwich on adult-size bread for HALF the price!

Prettyboy Market - Thigh and drumstick. Chicken was good but crust was ok. Some people like Maryland-style dark but I like the more lighter and crispier type.
