Waley's Bar is located right along the White Beach making it a perfect venue to est, drink, and party. The bar is usually packed so best to head out early. Drinks are priced just right and service is quite fast. A pitcher of mixed drinks range between php350 to php550 depending on the ingredients. Usual mixes include vodka, rum, whiskey, and gin and is good for around 10 servings. Waley's Bar has a regular cast of gay entertainers to keep patron's busy. If you've been to comedy bars in Manila, you've probably watched all the skits so there's that. They also have fire dancers that you could take pictures with. They're not as good as the ones in Boracay though. All in all, Waley's Bar is good for when you want to get drunk so you could have the courage to explore the Jurassic Park later. Definitely the most hopping and happening bar place in Puerto Galera.

The reason for the 3 stars was everything else. This includes the food and the service. It felt to me like ordering food was a bit of a nuisance. First they did not have all of the item menus and the food I did order ( beef dish ) tasted like fish. I only ate the rice and the rest of the food sat on the table and enjoyed the band as well. The wait staff also seemed like they didn't want to be there. Also I noticed that there was no female wait staff, at least not on Tuesday. Not saying they should or shouldn't.... I just find it a little weird. So the restaurant gets a 1.5. Overall. I would go there again with a full stomach. Bands like freestyle and south border are worth it.

Browsing the menu, you can get a feel that it has been well though of They have a good selection of vegetables and meat dishes. They all looked so good that it was hard to settle with just a few. We started out with some appetizers in the fashion of Filipino street food with the gambas+longanisa and satay sampler. But even prior to that, we were given bread with pate while waiting for our orders. We couldn't decide on what to order so we got both the chicken and chorizo rice and garlic aligue rice with chicharron. We matched these with the grilled beef belly and ox tail and trip kare kare. As if these were not enough, we also sampled the paksiw na boneless bangus belly with roasted coconut. Unlike the traditional paksiw with the more prominent sour taste of the vinegar, I liked this better because the coconut added some sweetness to it. Because we loved it so much and we didn't get to taste the pork belly, we came back for a second time. We again had the same set of rice, but this time we made sure we had the roast pork belly with tamarind rub. we were not able to try it the first time as we were too early.
