Chi-Chie's might have the distinction of having the cheapest, most affordable menu in Kapitolyo, but that doesn't mean they are the most kulelat! They have an extensive array of classic Filipino foods that will remind you right away of home. They have all those "inihaw" dishes like your grilled squid, grilled bangus, and pork barbecue; hearty soup dishes like "kansi" which is a cross between bulalo and sinigang soup; and those favorite fried dishes like lechon kawali, crispy pata, and sisig. But what's best at Chi-Chie's just might be those unique set meals they have, which they offer at only P99 flat during the lunch hour window everyday! These set meals go for around 130-150 at regular price and come with given choices of viands (e.g. pork bbq, chicken inasal, 2 pc grilled porkchops, etc.), soup, rice, and iced tea. It's the best lunch deal there is in the area if you only want a nothing-fancy-but-good lunch that won't carve a hole in your pocket. It's a pretty big serving too, so it's so worth it!
They also have a pretty big bar menu because the place becomes a restobar at night, again with some of the cheapest drinks you can get around the area. Local beers are only around P40, for example. There is a game area also on the 2nd floor where you can play darts and beer pong to your heart's content. read more
