They have not only a good selection of local PA beers, but sought after ones from around the country. The RTD selection is solid. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming. You can request specific beverages and they will try to order them (often you don't hear back, just a minor issue but more on the area distributor). Oakhurst is also a great place to pick up large bags of ice at a great price. They also carry Hartley's Potato Chips, which is a bonus!

The two older clerks at the store were visibly irritated and pushing us to purchase quickly (which I understand). When it was 8:59pm the older guy literally yelled (about 2 feet away from us) "We're closing NOW! BUY OR LEAVE!". So we took two beer cases to the counter and ended up purchasing only one. When my polite friend asked if he could leave the other case at the counter the older lady responded very rudely "NO! return this case now where you found it!". There is a nice way to say things. Specially to customers. I don't know if they treat clients this way on a regular basis, but I will avoid this store in the future. While I understand their points this is not a way to treat customers. After this experience I will definitely avoid this business.

I went to make a $65.00 purchase of a case of Guiness Stout Beer. After making the purchase I asked…read morefor a receipt and was told by the person on duty that that business did not give receipts for purchases. Finding this fishy I immediately returned the item and asked for a refund and the merchant agreed but refused my request to provide written proof that he had in fact cancelled the sale. At that point I called my credit union to report what happened after realizing that in spite of the cancellation the purchase had appeared on my bank statement as a pending transaction. I was advised by the credit union that if the cancellation was made the funds would be returned to my account within forty hours. I had my phone on speaker mode so the merchant heard every word I was saying to my credit union and repeated for the union rep that he had indeed cancelled the sale and that my funds would be returned to me. This was this past Friday and the credit union rep said within earshot of the merchant that if the transaction went through and the funds were still not returned to my account today, Monday, to call in and dispute the charge. This morning the funds were out of my account which means the business completed the transaction on its end even though the merchant on duty at the business told both myself and the credit union rep that he had cancelled the sale even though he had not, That's why I am posting this review and will be posting it elsewhere because to pull something like this proves that the business is dishonest and should be avoided at all cost. The place is set up well, they have a clean interior, things are labeled and easy to find and the cooler while small, still has plenty of imports and craft instead of just BMC. The people running the register are able to give the kind of I expect from a case store and I didn't go asking for special orders so I didn't test them too much. I consider the selection pretty decent for the area since they had some recent seasonals it shows they rotate the stock. I would stop in here for a case if I was in the area, but there are place with just as good prices and better selection that I prefer.

When I bought the keg the employee helped me out by carrying some of my items to my car and then again on the return of the items made this a great experience. This location is one of the better ones in the region, but it depends on who you get behind the counter and if there's a manager up in the crow's nest watching over things. I've come here on the weekend and received an education on wine and whisky. I've come in on other shifts and been ignored with the kind of passion and discipline only a method actor can earn over the course of an entire career. My greatest experience here and fondest memory was when I needed empty boxes. I happened to stop in at a point when the staff was done stocking and had a mountain of empty booze boxes they had to destroy. They were THRILLED that I filled my moving van with dozens of the sturdiest, most colorful moving boxes you can ever find for free.

Today's example...they're advertised price in store was $25.74 - they rang it up at $68.44. I called them out that in no way is that correct and she blankly stared at me. I had to explain the advertised price to which she said oh okay, rang it up again..this time the case itself was $31.98 before taxes. Again I told her THIER OWN advertised price 10 feet away and she explained that the $6 difference was "taxes" to which I kindly explained that 6% sales tax does not equate to a 24% difference. Also that was the item price before taxes - final cost was over $33. Sorry for long explanation but this will legitimately happen to you if you go here. They will rip you off unless you say something and then they'll try again. Do not give these people your business - plenty of other places in the area.
