I wasn't able to go to my nail tech so I had to go back to the nail salon after years . I was so scared but Sue did my nails & was very gently . She took her time on the design I just wish it was shaped a little sharper . But overall 7 outta 10

my FAVORITE place and my FAVORITE people. I will never waste my money or time going somewhere else. I love the people that work here, the environment, and the work they do. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. 11/10 recommend for anyone looking for a salon.

I'm used to a a certain standard of manicure being from NYC so in all honesty I waited a month into moving to Scranton before I just asked anyone to do my nails lol. This place is very close to my home and has flexible business hours so I decided to give them a shot. I asked the nail tech for a nail shape by its trendy name and she had no clue what I was asking for but when I showed her a picture she was able to do what I was asking for. I spent less than usual in NYC and got everything that I typically like; a fill-in, almond shaped & gel polish. The place was immaculately clean which is a bonus because in NYC a lot of the places are deplorable sanitary wise. I had the pleasure of being serviced by a person named Chi. For all of those with issues, try asking for her.

I'm torn how to rate my experience…read more Pros: I had Michelle. She was nice. My nails didn't have any bubbles and about 2-ish weeks later, no lifting or problems. Nice atmosphere. Cons: My nails were sore for a few days after. I thought maybe it was due to the powder as I'd never had it before, but after hearing other experiences it's probably due to excessive filing They use 1 pot for everyone for the dip powders. As in, each color has a container, and they dip your finger into that pot and tap the excess back into the container. Over and over with each customer. I looked it up and it's very unsanitary and unsafe to do this because of risk of infections I left it at 3 stars because I was happy with my manicure at the time and it's lasting well. But I probably won't be back due to unsafe conditions. I'm also not a fan of how thick the dip powders are on my nails. My nails do not bend AT ALL. No flex. It feels very unnatural. But I'm not used to acrylics and I guess they're supposed to be similar

I normally do my own acrylics & designs but decided to treat myself going to the salon since work…read morehas been busy and it's my birthday in a few days. I asked for a more complex design but told her if she couldn't do it that was fine. She then began trying to change too many elements so I asked if I could just do all French. She said of course no problem. However not a single one of them has a clean line. It's extremely noticeable because I chose a dark color. On top of that, I asked several times for her to straighten the edges of my nails with the file, as I like a really sharp square. She kept rounding out the corners and got frustrated I wasn't happy. Overall, the salon looked and felt really luxe, but the outcome of my nails is mediocre and I now have to fix them at home because I'm disappointed. I still tipped her for her time, but not for the quality. Won't be returning.

I'm very disappointed with my experience at Nail Trix in Dickson City. I came in for a pedicure,…read moreand the service felt rushed from the moment it started. My feet were barely placed in the water before being taken right back out. There was no real soak, the scrub was quick, and the massage was basically one pass on each calf. I was originally told $98, then after I questioned the price, it was lowered to $70. I did not receive gel polish, a design, or any extra service that would justify that price. For a basic pedicure that felt like it took about 10 minutes, $70 still felt unreasonable. What made it worse is that the finished result did not look professional. There was still dry skin and buildup around my toes and nails, the polish/application looked messy, and my feet did not look or feel like I had just received a proper pedicure. I left feeling taken advantage of, unsatisfied, and like I now have to pay another salon to fix what should have been done properly the first time. For the price being charged, the service should be much more thorough, professional, and worth the customer's money. I would not return or recommend this salon based on my experience.

Disappointed. I had a basic pedicure with regular polish. No callus remover, nothing additional…read more The tech flew through my pedicure. She did the bare minimum for every step. She used the power grinder but I didn't see if she used a new filer. The little scrub brush and sponge were pulled out of the drawer and placed back in when done. Then she tells me my pedicure is $40. What??!! Basic ones, which is what I had, should be $28. Disappointed. I've been here before with no issues. Maybe I just got a bad tech. I do have to say the atmosphere is pleasing. All the pedicure chairs are new and very comfortable.
