I immediately started searching Google for places and I must say there were not many to choose from by far. I didn't think any place could take me in a couple of hours on the same day BUT when I called Abington Spa they were so welcoming and compassionate about getting me in to see Amy for a deep tissue massage. Location: when I pulled up to the building and parked I had to walk to front door only to see the small print that the spa was located around back and to park in the back. I was a bit annoyed for wished the receptionist could have stated that on the phone call especially knowing the sharp excruciating pain I was in but anyways. I like the décor of the place very tranquil. Amy greeted me and asked me if I wanted water or WINE.. I immediately smiled and chose wine. Service: the deep tissue massage was so good I loved the pressure she gave and the fact that she asked me if the pressure was good throughout the service. She was really able to dig into the muscle and work thru the kinks. I later found out that she worked at a rehab facility for years and that is where she knew how to identify tough areas. she was a life saver. The only reason I gave this place a 3 star out of 5 was because they didn't have me fill out any forms to find out if I was allergic to anything, if I had any known skin disorders. things that you should ask before working on someone.
