We've been told many times about this place by friends who grew up in Wichita Falls--stories of good times, parking lot service, ice-cold beer, and solid food. The place is decorated with a classic old dive bar feel, complete with TVs playing all the games you could want. True to the hype, the beer was ice cold. I ordered it "red," as recommended, and it was tasty. Note: they don't serve liquor, but they have just about every domestic beer you could want, in both draft and bottle. Now to the nitty gritty--the food is your standard bar fare: burgers, hot dogs, wings, and even some unexpected options like frog legs! I wasn't very hungry and went with the cheese and meat nachos. Honestly, I've had better cheese dip at a movie theater. My husband ordered a burger and said it was good. We also shared corn dogs topped with shredded melted cheese and chili--now that was good! The tater tots were solid, too. Our waitress was just okay--not rude or anything, but not particularly attentive either. She seemed bored more than anything. A heads-up: watch your tab. A few of the prices on our check were about $2 higher than what was listed on the menu. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if that was either noted on the menu or mentioned by the server. All in all, we'd probably go back for the drinks, especially with our local friends. Understanding this is a dive the lack of food quality cannot be dismissed. The evening we were there only two in the kitchen and two waitstaff so service was very slow. More staff would probably sped up the food delivery but I doubt it would have improved the food quality. read more

I stopped in about a month ago. Tiny little dive bar, good service, good tacos. Fast forward to yesterday, when I couldn't find a parking space I drove around back. Woah! Another totally different bar! Picnic tables outside, curb service! LOL I had no idea. I had the tacos again, this time super greasy, but still delicious. They forgot to bring me salsa. It's good salsa, but I was hungry and had limited time, so I gobbled up the tacos and soaked in the ambiance of what is obviously a very popular spot. I subbed a salad for fries. all seriousness for the most time, their bartenders are great and their alcohol is always good but when you order a full meal from them (a full burger and a set of fries per se ) and they send you home with a full order of fries and only a half a sandwich for some reason for 1675 and still don't answer you that's beyond ridiculous so I consider anytime you order food from them to go open your meal and make sure it's the full meal before you leave and not just a full order of fries and a half of a sandwich for the price you would pay in-house for the full sandwich in the full order of fries read more

The place is awesome, friendly and inviting, the red draws are awesome and pair well with all the food on the menu. Don't be discouraged by the outside. P2 is known to be the oldest bar in Wichita Falls, but more modern looking on the inside. They have 8 beers on tap and also carry special bottles in a fridge. The bar only seats about 10 people along with some indoor seating but the majority is outside where the benches are. Service was great thanks to the ladies that opened that Thursday morning. If you like bar food, this is the place to be. From burgers to nachos or hot dogs, they'll have it for ya. Great atmosphere. Servers take good care of you. Beer is always ice cold. Sound system is easily accessed and sounds very good.

Terrible service. Went in for our lunch break, got asked what we wanted to drink, 20 minutes later still no drink or any other acknowledgement. There were 2 servers, serving tables next to us.. one (the one who took our drink order) even looked at us and made eye contact and turned back around to go on about her business. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought we were ghosts. The table next to us had drinks and menus on their tables as if they were waiting on someone to come get their order but no one came to them the whole 20 minutes we were waiting. On a Sunday afternoon, passing through Wichita Falls, I decided to mark "red draw" off my bucket list. Being Sunday, the famous one was closed (and a little rundown looking), but I found this one around the corner. On nice days it's a biker hangout but still pleasant. I took my parents to have lunch when they came to town. With my dad being a firefighter I thought he would appreciate the atmosphere. Anyways, we sat down, my parents had a long drive back home, they didn't drink any beer. When our waitress realized none of us would be drinking, that's when things went down hill. It didn't take long to get our drinks, but once our drinks were delivered we didn't see the waitress again. She was rude to us and rarely came back to the table. She made sure to wait on the men who were drinking and would tip well. Keep in mind myself and my family are great tippers, depending on our service we receive. We had to go up to the counter to order food since the waitress didn't bother coming back. My mom decided she wanted a red draw and asked our waitress for one when she finally did come back. The waitress never brought the beer to my mom so she had to go up to the counter and order herself a red draw because the waitress never bothered putting the order in. My mom and dad's food was cold when it came out as well. They couldn't really mess my order up because it was a salad. Since eating there I have seen pictures of the kitchen, I would never allow my own dog to eat off of the floor. It is pure filth. Not much to say about this old timer. Drive up, back in under the awning. Wait for server to take your order for beer and pub grub. Eat and drink in your car. If you are really adventurous you can get out of your car and sit at a picnic table. You can even go to the indoor bar if your feeling frisky. The restrooms are in there too. read more

This place has the best greasy food in WF. Definitely have to get out of your comfort zone if you want to brave coming here. It's bar food at it's absolute worst which makes it the best for when you're out late and just want some grub to chow down on. This is not the place for calorie counters, be prepared for a moisturizing facial in the form of the oil soaked air hitting your face as you walk in. There's some bar games and plenty on tap. Definitely has it's fair share of regulars so you get the sense that the staff are attentive and know who's been there before. Wouldn't eat this food before 10:30 PM. Outside looks very sketchy but ample parking on the street or in the lot. Wouldn't go in by myself though. A classic that's managed to stick around, so worth the visit. read more

Great spot for lunch and beers. Not a big beer selection outside of your typical macro brands but they make up for it with a large food menu with tons of options. Lots of hightop style tables to sit at or you can sit outside at a shaded picnic table. Prices are low, even for the area. Waitstaff is friendly and quick. read more

We ordered an appetizer and a burger and tacos. 40 minutes had passed and the waitress hadnt even been back to our table. She finally shows up and we ask if our appetizer will come out soon and she says she will check on it. Another 5-10 mins go by and she comes back with a tray with our appetizer and both meals. Wichita Dive. Cliquey, but consistent with average bar food. Drive-in drinking is a plus. Ask for extra napkins so you can wring out the oil from whatever you order. Steak on Garlic isn't the same from way back, but still good and will clean you out pretty quick if needed. Food is mostly fried, appetizers and similar fare made up on the fly type of crap, and burgers. Why three stars then? Cool dive and as a native, the shittier in this town, the better. It's either a novelty if you have your own identity, or a staple if you follow herd identity. Either way, not bad in the summer. Grab a menu, check out some of the R. Jackson Chest Revitalization Grant Recipients, and enjoy a beer in your car. And remember, 80% of the clientele would be wearing their high school football letter jackets if they still fit. The waitresses are notorious for overcharging, especially on dollar beer night.
