One of the things that I especially like to get from here is the goat meat, which to me is the best deal that you'll find for this type of me in the area. It's generally sold per pound, and when you approach the counter, you just simply let them know how many pounds you would like, they bag it up weigh it and give you the price. They also have a fresh fish counter where you will find things that is not very common and most other grocery stores. The value here is great. The staff is friendly and the store is always well stocked, clean and organized.

They only buy what they intend to sell that day and 2. The market is popular which could be a reflection on the quality. When I expressed my disappointment about their not having salmon, the person behind the counter assured me that there was something just as good or better for me to purchase. He was not wrong! He recommended the red snapper which was intimidating looking at it whole in the display but I said yes, I'll take it. The gentleman fileted the fish and handed it over to me. Let me tell you that was the best red snapper I've ever had. The location is in a strip mall with lots of parking and there was a little bit of a wait because another customer arrived at the same time I did. I was perfectly fine with that though. Its a little pricey but it was so worth it. Another thing I would like to highlight is that the place did not smell like fish! That is another win for this place!

Rolling up, it seems this is a market that caters more to commercial clientele, but they are open to the public too, which means you get access to all the goods. Walking in I noticed live seafood tanks that looked specific to fish, but couldn't see anything in them. I'm assuming you just had to ask. In the first case I saw nice looking shrimp and shellfish, and around the corner there were whole fish, including many of my favorites I don't often see for sale. Mutton snapper and hogfish, both around $8/Lb, lion fish at $5, and some lesser known species of grouper and smaller delicate fish as well. This selection is what makes me give them a higher rating. We were there late in the day, and the cases were mostly empty. I assume earlier in the day there's more! It's worth noting the whole fish still had guts in tact, so if you want to buy one you might ask them to clean it for you. We were on the hunt for stone crabs, and when we called they said they had them, but when we got there they were all in the freezer. Freezing shellfish definitely changes them, and not for the better. I can't imagine eating frozen stone crabs. In fact I've never heard of buying stone crabs frozen at all. So we didn't. I'd definitely go back for fish!

Quickly she packed up Hoisin sauce, Sesame oil, Coffee Candy and several packages of Tofu, bean sprout, and baby Bok Choy. They have a huge selection of frozen foods, but we did not pick up any because we needed a cooler to keep them for our drive home! There are clams, blue crabs, lobsters in tank and other fresh seafood available. Goat meat and lamb stew meat are on display. Meanwhile, I picked several chrysanthemum tea, red date, Goji berries. The place is spacious, clean and neatly organized with plenty of parking. Many items are reasonably priced. Two self-checkout counters were available, and the cashier lines are moving quickly. Enson Market is incredibly clean, organized and a beautiful Asian Market in itself. They did a great job with the way everything is laid out. The produce, meat and seafood options look fresh! I love that they do have a sushi, onigiri and fresh grab and go food space. Although when I came around 1pm, most of these options were gone so it was mostly empty. Large with organized aisles, this market offers a vast variety of Caribbean products (mostly Jamaican) such as fresh produce, rice, meats & seafood, dry beans, dairy items, and so much more at reasonable prices.
