Only been to the Wild Fork in Fort Lauderdale and decided to visit this one in Sunrise to see if they had a new seasoned flavor of baby back ribs. I already grilled up the Swift Memphis and Kansas City ribs which were spectacular and easy to oven bake in the bag pre-seasoned within 80 minutes, then slammed it on the grill to char the edges for another 5 minutes on each side. This store did have the Swift Whiskey Black Pepper baby back ribs but unfortunately, it was not a ready to bake in the bag version. All three rib slabs at different weights are only $3.50 per pound. This store seems well organized and the food labels are clearly readable. The staff was quick to assist me upon entry. Going back on this Saturday for a tasting of the curry chicken. read more

Ok. I'm updating guys. Just as you know I tell you to be your own judge of things. I just post it as I see and taste it... First off they must have read my last review of about 11 months ago... and changed things cause I've given them a couple more chances and they have been better and better and better every time. The flank steak with chimi seasoning is extremely tasty and tender and flavorful... the bacon thick cut (I mean Thick cut) is great the beef roasts and chicken I got very good for the price. I initially came to Wild Fork Market for one very specific reason--to get my hands on their frozen sticky toffee pudding. I had heard about it and was determined to try it, but what I didn't expect was to walk into what felt like a frozen food paradise. The selection at this store is next level. They have everything from high-quality cuts of meat like duck breasts, bison, lamb racks, and wagyu beef to gourmet seafood like lobster tails, Chilean sea bass, and escargot. And it doesn't stop there--they also carry pastries, frozen macarons, soups, meal kits, and even international specialties. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and leave with a cart full of items you didn't even know you needed. When I found the sticky toffee pudding, there was only one box left. I asked a staff member if they had more, and he immediately went to the back and restocked them--great service! At only $5 a box, I grabbed two and couldn't wait to try them at home. I heated up the sticky toffee pudding, and it was absolute perfection--moist, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. It tasted like something straight out of a high-end restaurant. Now, I'm already planning my next trip back to Wild Fork to stock up on more (and probably leave with more than I intended again). Even though this store is a bit of a drive for me, it's 100% worth it, and I can confidently say I'll be a loyal customer from now on. I posted some photos of what I purchased. I ate some things already, including a delicious lava cake that you heat in the oven. The olive bread and the shepherd's pie are really delicious. I went here for the first time this week and was impressed. They have such a nice variety of side dishes Unique ones. I get bored with the same things I make and this is helping me make some creative meals. They sell all sorts of meats I have never tried. These include elk, ostrich, boar and the list goes on. I did buy some keta salmon that i am eating tomorrow. The food quality is very high, despite being frozen. The store environment is not my favorite, but I am happy to shop here. The store is always clean and organized and employees greet you when you walk in. Since everything is frozen, it can get cold in there so you may want to bring a hoodie or sweater. I think they have great pricing overall and we get a lot of organic chicken from them. They have tenders, thighs, wings, breasts, white meat chunks, basically anything you'd want. Lots of veggies, sides, breads, appetizers and desserts as well. Beef, pork, seafood and more. I really like being able to stock my freezer and take out as needed. The only issue I've had is sometimes bags get ripped from shipping or while they're in the freezer case, so check the bag well before you buy it, and I'd recommend defrosting the meat in a ziplock to prevent leakage if there is a hole you missed. Also, just make sure you cook it once defrosted, don't let it sit in the fridge for days after. read more

You can find everything from rabbit , duck, lamb, and other hard to find proteins. The service was also great at this location so I had no complaints. A great place to get all of your meats, sides, breads, desserts, and seafood. I was a regular here and was sad that I won't be shopping there anymore because I was relocating. The prices were affordable and I would get all of my meats here. They were all frozen but it's still quality. You can even buy microwaveable single serving meals. The store is organized and pleasing to the eyes when searching for items. I loved their shellfish, salmon, cod, sausages, cauliflower rice, and peri peri chicken. I was looking forward to trying your products and purchased over 5 pounds of beef back ribs for more than $26, along with a package of pork back ribs (which I have not yet cooked). Following multiple recipe recommendations online, I slow-cooked the beef back ribs at 250°F for 4 hours and 50 minutes. Unfortunately, once cooked, I discovered the ribs were extremely poor quality -- approximately 95% gristle and tendons, with very little edible meat. My son, who had the other half of the rack, confirmed the same issue -- closer to 98% gristle and inedible tissue. I contacted your Customer Care center at 1-833-300-9453, and the representative confirmed your satisfaction guarantee policy. I was told to call the Sunrise store directly at 786-915-8109, but after four attempts (letting it ring over 20 times each), I was disconnected each time without anyone answering. I made sure to call during store hours, well before the 9 PM Sunday closing time. As a customer with a disability, it is not practical for me to travel back to the store in my wheelchair using public transportation just to resolve this issue. I paid using my Healthy Benefits food card and would like to receive a refund or credit to my card for this poor-quality product. I am happy to provide a photo of the ribs and the receipt was thrown out last week. I hope Wild Fork honors its guarantee and commitment to quality. Heard about this store and decided to stop in while in town. I was floored with the selection they have. No need to shop at different stores for your proteins or worry about certain cuts being out of stock. They have everything and even mini desserts which were delicious. They also have seasoning to with meats. For Valentine's Day we are cooking at home and knew if we were gonna eat meat this is the place to visit. We grabbed 2 thick ribeye steaks, 2 lobster tails & a bag of organic frozen unsweetened açaí pulp (because finding unsweetened açaí anywhere is harder than finding the Bermuda Triangle) all for $55. The meats and lobster tail are frozen and you can thaw it in your fridge or under lukewarm water. They have yet to disappoint. Would highly recommend this location. Be careful when you come to this store. I've been charged twice for the same item two diff visits to the store. Its a nightmare to speak to the manager as NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE. When i called wildforks main line she told me that she cannot see the double charge when it is clearly printed on my receipt. There must be some type of scam going on as her receipt didnt show what mine was showing. AND on top of that they charged twice for the most expensive item i had. Wild Fork is my new place for meat. I had heard about it first in a Yelp talk thread. Several people reccomended buying meat here. I was driving up University and saw the store so I stopped in out of curiosity. I bought chicken, haddock, sausages, ground lamb, liver and a new lavender/rosemary salt. Everything was great quality and flavor. I'm hooked on Wilf Fork. All of my friends have heard about it from me in the last week. I went back again on Sunday and bought bone in rib eye steaks, more chicken thighs, scallops, smoked salmon and more. They deliver to my area for free but I like going to the store. There was only one other customer each time that I visited. The store is impeccably clean and staff are helpful. Next time, I'm getting the duck and beignets with berry jam. read more

I went to Wild Fork looking for 4-5oz portions of frozen chicken breast I saw online, however I was having difficulty locating it. A young gentlemen by the name of Edlyn approached me asking if I needed help. Not only did he note that the item I saw online was not what I thought it was but he was determined to look for another item that was comparable. He spend time with me providing outstanding customer service. His demeanor was professional and willingness in making me happy. Unfortunately, a quality that is lacking in the majority of today's retail employees. He restored faith in me that there are employees that are willing to go over and beyond to make customers happy. Checked out this place for the first time today because my husband really likes grilling and smoking meat. Great selection of chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. We got a few sausages, pork chops, and shrimp and scallop skewers. Everything in the store is sold frozen. They also have good frozen options for appetizers, sides, and a small dessert section. Prices were reasonable but probably not the cheapest you can find. Can't speak for quality because we haven't tried anything yet but we have a few friends who all say everything is delicious. read more

The phone number to this store does not work. When you call it you're connected to a company called JBL and asks you to dial your desired extension or "dial by name"... um? Of course I don't know any extension. I dialed 0 and got a person eventually, but she was not able to transfer me to the store and did not have a solution for me. She offered the wild forks corporate number but wild forks corporate office just gave me the original number that connected to jbl... Online ordering wasn't working, tried to call the store to make sure they had what I wanted in stock. I was just trying to make sure that they have what I want to order before I drive out to them. Ironically in trying to avoid wasting my time by calling the store I've wasted my time just trying to get someone on the phone. Let me first off start off by saying that I have been buying Fresh Meat and seafood as an avid cook for the last few years and I was shall we say hesitant to go to Wild Fork where everything is quote flash Frozen. From my first two experiences there I can't tell you that the steak that I made last week was probably one of the finest I've made it home and the last two years and the fish we made last night was also clean and tasty. I went back and purchased several different items across the board now which I'll be trying over the next few days and weeks. If the rest of the products are as good as what I picked up on my first couple visits and this will be my new go-to place for Meat and Fish the prices are outstanding and the service is great with a smile. Currently not too convenient but when I understand that you're opening a location very near to my home which I look forward to. The one thing that was not up to par was their Prime Milk Fed Veal. Maybe it was a one off, but it was tough & chewy and certainly not top shelf milk fed veal. I emailed them to see what their response will be, but this is an avoid for now! I absolutely love Wild Forks and I am so happy they opened one 5 minutes from my home. I used to go to the Coral Springs one often. They have just about every single protein you can imagine, EXCEPT ground chicken. I ask for it every time and they tell me that they are working on it. ;) I stocked up on my proteins for this cray cray pandemic and I only spent about $125. I got chicken, pork, beef, bison, all sorts of varieties of each. If I got the same things at Publix or Whole Foods, it would have cost me at LEAST $30 more and if you ask me, the quality at Publix and Whole Foods is awful (most of the time it tastes like it has been frozen and defrosted multiple times). Wild Forks honestly just tastes better to me with their quality. They are starting to make meals for one as well. I got the bulgogi and loved it! read more

I'm confused, just don't get it, this is not a place for me. It is new and just opened so I thought I would check it out since I don't know anyone who has shopped here. First off, the shopping center of this location is between a Super Walmart and an incoming Aldi's. Both of those are not high end shopping but carry a different variety of grocery items. This place only sells meat and meat related items. So it is located in a major metropolitan city where everyone shops frequently. I don't understand the concept of buying frozen food when we can buy it all fresh. If I were to impulse shop from here I still couldn't cook it that day because everything is under a deep freeze. I get the stores value of no waste because there is nothing fresh. I did observe quite a few items that were looking freezer burnt so that doesn't make much sense for the no waste concept. The other thing that they offered was a membership to a pick up service. Being that all the meats are sold by weight, I wonder how you don't end up with too much or too little in your grocery order. Not sure if you can specify a range in pounds for your meats. On a positive note, they have just about every meat allowed to be sold in the US. Yes, wild boar, elk, ostrich, lamb and all the usual suspects. I could possibly try that but I'm not sure how to prepare it so I would save that experience for a restaurant. We made our first purchase, which included the short ribs flanken style. We just returned from a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina and I have to say the ribs from Wild Fork are definitely up to par. They were thick, juicy and mouthwatering. Definitely a treat. We also tried the mini butter croissants. Awesome!!! I haven't found a place in South Florida where I can rave about a croissant. These babies remind me of the ones I had in Paris. They are that good! Please never stop carrying them. The store was super clean and the staff was very helpful. I never thought I would walk into a place and spend hundreds of dollars on meat for the next 3 months. I am obsessed with Grilling and I do it at least 3-4 times a week and on every special occasion. Being that my late father-in-law was from Argentina and he was a major influence in my life for over 25 years I became he right hand man on the grill every chance I could. The quality and selection of meats are hands down the best and prices are unreal. You have to go and check it out. They have everything I need for our traditional Argentine Asado's and more. Now I have 2 kids and am passing this tradition on to my kids. Sorry Publix or Whoever but you can't and don't want to help me when I asked for parts of a cow that you didn't even know where eaten. These wings were very good, very tender. Smaller in size than frozen wings purchased from other stores but can tell the difference between the Wild Fork quick freeze process and the other freezing methods used by other stores and brands. I've bought good meat and good seafood here a couple of times, so today I went to buy a slab of sockeye salmon that I intended to use for sashimi. It should have been good for that use, since it's supposedly flash-frozen, which preserves the texture of the meat. Man, I could not be sadder right now. Flash-frozen my butt! I defrosted it, still in its vacuum-sealed pack, under cold water and when I took it out, it was waterlogged, spongy, bruised and pitted mush instead of a firm, springy, plump filet, and didn't taste like anything other than crumpled wet paper. The thing had a texture like it had been slow-frozen, defrosted, and slow-frozen again 10 times. Completely unusable raw. I've bought raw salmon from Publix, Winn Dixie, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, even Walmart, for sashimi, and they were edible raw. No particularly exciting flavor, but passable. This was wholly different! I have never before cooked any of my salmon that I bought for sashimi. This was the first time I had to. Oh well, at least it was only $4. read more

Absolutely love this location of Wild Fork Foods. I was very impressed with how clean and organized the facility was. It was so inspiring to see their broad selection and it got me really excited about some recipes that I am wanting to try out. I came here looking for rabbit and found it right away, as everything is clearly labeled. The staff is extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about their products and offerings. With that being said, Paulina, the girl that helped us, was such a delight! She was very polite and showed me where the rabbit was located, but also got into a great conversation with me about what I was cooking. She even went as far to make suggestions with their own rubs and spices (located near the register) that would compliment my dish. She also spoke to me about other cooking methods and different proteins that I should try out. It was clear she knew what she was talking about and I could've talked about food all day with her! Wild Fork Foods was a 2020 discovery for me due to Covid. I started with free deliveries mostly as I was not able to go into stores for a number of reasons. Whether you choose delivery, in store or curbside pickup, or to shop in person in the store, the experience is always excellent. I changed a lot in my diet this year and going almost 100% organic with animal products was a challenge when some food supplies were short. Wild Fork Foods has an amazing online system for ordering and in store pickup. All of the food is frozen, which can be a deterrent to some and ideal for others looking to have meat and other products on hand when needed. WFF uses blast freezing at the peak of freshness to reduce crystallization and to maintain juiciness. From chicken to lamb to steaks to seafood, all of our food has been fresh and delicious. They even have some different and more unique kinds of specialty meats, such as bison, elk, and goat. Recently they've started selling Wagyu beef! Their apps and desserts are great too. I really love picking up one of their seasonings at the counter at checkout (the Asian seasoning is my favorite on Salmon). They also have a great seafood selection, including Key West Pink shrimp! This review is solely based on the female cashier's customer service, or lack thereof. I've been shopping at Wild Fork ever since they've opened and have had nothing but great service. However, today fell way short. My husband proceeded to place our items on the counter for checkout. The cashier was silent...no greeting. No biggie, just felt awkward.
