Flank steak after I cut and cleaned it and trimmed the fat
    E M.

Ok. I'm updating guys. Just as you know I tell you to be your own judge of things. I just post it as I see and taste it... First off they must have read my last review of about 11 months ago... and changed things cause I've given them a couple more chances and they have been better and better and better every time. The flank steak with chimi seasoning is extremely tasty and tender and flavorful... the bacon thick cut (I mean Thick cut) is great the beef roasts and chicken I got very good for the price. All in all I'll be going back so long as they keep making the standard quality...and keep it that way. As always you'd be the judge and decide. Peace out be safe.

I initially came to Wild Fork Market for one very specific reason--to get my hands on their frozen sticky toffee pudding. I had heard about it and was determined to try it, but what I didn't expect was to walk into what felt like a frozen food paradise. The selection at this store is next level. They have everything from high-quality cuts of meat like duck breasts, bison, lamb racks, and wagyu beef to gourmet seafood like lobster tails, Chilean sea bass, and escargot. And it doesn't stop there--they also carry pastries, frozen macarons, soups, meal kits, and even international specialties. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and leave with a cart full of items you didn't even know you needed. When I found the sticky toffee pudding, there was only one box left. I asked a staff member if they had more, and he immediately went to the back and restocked them--great service! At only $5 a box, I grabbed two and couldn't wait to try them at home. I heated up the sticky toffee pudding, and it was absolute perfection--moist, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. It tasted like something straight out of a high-end restaurant. Now, I'm already planning my next trip back to Wild Fork to stock up on more (and probably leave with more than I intended again). Even though this store is a bit of a drive for me, it's 100% worth it, and I can confidently say I'll be a loyal customer from now on. If you love high-quality ingredients, unique finds, and gourmet frozen foods at reasonable prices, Wild Fork is a must-visit!

I posted some photos of what I purchased. I ate some things already, including a delicious lava cake that you heat in the oven. The olive bread and the shepherd's pie are really delicious. I went here for the first time this week and was impressed. They have such a nice variety of side dishes Unique ones. I get bored with the same things I make and this is helping me make some creative meals. They sell all sorts of meats I have never tried. These include elk, ostrich, boar and the list goes on. I did buy some keta salmon that i am eating tomorrow. The food quality is very high, despite being frozen. The store environment is not my favorite, but I am happy to shop here. I got tired of shopping the same couple ssupermarkets and wanted to expand my horizons.

Such a unique store with all kinds of meats. I specifically went looking for pork and was able to get a quarter of a whole little pig plus a big shoulder. You can find everything from rabbit , duck, lamb, and other hard to find proteins. The service was also great at this location so I had no complaints. They do have also a few frozen ready to eat meals and snacks as well.

Heard about this store and decided to stop in while in town. I was floored with the selection they have. No need to shop at different stores for your proteins or worry about certain cuts being out of stock. They have everything and even mini desserts which were delicious. We cooked up the St Louis style pre-seasoned ribs and some Churrasco which was also pre-seasoned. Everything turned out great.

Wild Fork is my new place for meat. I had heard about it first in a Yelp talk thread. Several people reccomended buying meat here. I was driving up University and saw the store so I stopped in out of curiosity. I bought chicken, haddock, sausages, ground lamb, liver and a new lavender/rosemary salt. Everything was great quality and flavor. I'm hooked on Wilf Fork. All of my friends have heard about it from me in the last week. I went back again on Sunday and bought bone in rib eye steaks, more chicken thighs, scallops, smoked salmon and more. They deliver to my area for free but I like going to the store. There was only one other customer each time that I visited. The store is impeccably clean and staff are helpful. Next time, I'm getting the duck and beignets with berry jam.

Checked out this place for the first time today because my husband really likes grilling and smoking meat. Great selection of chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. We got a few sausages, pork chops, and shrimp and scallop skewers. Everything in the store is sold frozen. They also have good frozen options for appetizers, sides, and a small dessert section. Prices were reasonable but probably not the cheapest you can find. Can't speak for quality because we haven't tried anything yet but we have a few friends who all say everything is delicious.

Rolling up, it seems this is a market that caters more to commercial clientele, but they are open to the public too, which means you get access to all the goods. Walking in I noticed live seafood tanks that looked specific to fish, but couldn't see anything in them. I'm assuming you just had to ask. In the first case I saw nice looking shrimp and shellfish, and around the corner there were whole fish, including many of my favorites I don't often see for sale. Mutton snapper and hogfish, both around $8/Lb, lion fish at $5, and some lesser known species of grouper and smaller delicate fish as well. This selection is what makes me give them a higher rating. We were there late in the day, and the cases were mostly empty. I assume earlier in the day there's more! It's worth noting the whole fish still had guts in tact, so if you want to buy one you might ask them to clean it for you. We were on the hunt for stone crabs, and when we called they said they had them, but when we got there they were all in the freezer. Freezing shellfish definitely changes them, and not for the better. I can't imagine eating frozen stone crabs. In fact I've never heard of buying stone crabs frozen at all. So we didn't. I'd definitely go back for fish!

With the first…read morebite, I could tell this was really fresh fish, not something that had been sitting in a display case for a few days. The portion was great for 9$. I actually split the hot lunch special with a family member-you know, trying to reduce portions. The steamed veggies were waterlogged, but at least they were a healthier side option to counterbalance the other side of white rice. Didn't take long for the friendly fishmonger to grill up my selection, he was even considerate enough to ask how well done did I prefer the salmon be cooked. The mild flavor of the flaky salmon definitely peaks my interest to return and sample more of the lunch specials. The cashier is all business, no smile. I don't understand why a person raises his or her voice, if you don't understand his/her accent. Just a cultural thing, I guess. I'll plan my next visit better, so that I can also buy some fresh uncooked seafood.

If this isn't an option for you, they offer delivery within the Broward area. Their website has a wide range of seafood to choose from. Whether you want a ready made bundle or choose to create your own box, there is a lot of flexibility! One of my favorite things to get here is their tuna poke cubes. I've always wanted to make it at home but was too scared to get fish from the store. Raw fish that isn't sushi grade is not something I want to mess with so this option has been a game changer! Yes, this tuna is sushi grade, is already cubed and ready to eat once defrosted. Seafood can be a bit intimidating to cook but they also have some recipes on their Instagram @fishondish. You can follow their simple recipes with the seafood purchased from them! Their pick up is Monday-Friday,10am-4pm. Delivery is available Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. They will call to schedule a delivery time frame to make sure you're home. Don't want that seafood sitting out in the hot FL sun! The ladies at Fish on Dish are the friendliest and are always happy to help if you have any questions. They take the meaning of family business to the next level! I look forward to whenever I get to order from them time and time again. BRB, off to make my poke bowl.

My first clue that this was not the place was rhe disgustingly strong fish odor that almost bowled me over when I opened the door---the hallmark of fish that is NOT FRESH. I saw a case with a selection of about 5 varieties, none of which looked remotely fresh and appetizing! In addition to fresh local fish, I was hoping to score some crabmeat to make crab cakes for my family. They had "gourmet" crab cakes in the case, which you could tell we're almost all breading, for something like $8 apiece. Asking for just crabmeat, the guy who looked like the guy in charge today, pulled a can out of the case and informed me it was from Indonesia (the fact that he even needed to check should tell you something!). Anyway, when I told him I only wanted blue crab from the US, he snarkily informed me that "anyone who tells you they have fresh crab right now is lying-it's "molting season". WTF? I'm from Md., lived years in La. this IS crab season. If it's "molting season" where are your soft shells, Einstein? If you can't get crabmeat from Louisiana, you're just not trying.
