We came here for the stone crab and found that they also have a restaurant. We ended up coming here…read moretwice while we were in town. We ordered their sushi and fried fish. Everything was amazing and extremely fresh. The service is amazing. AJ is very personable and is a great sushi chef. There are a few tables inside and a huge covered seating area. Come try this hidden gem!

We visited this establishment after finding it online while searching for seafood restaurants in…read morethe Hollywood area, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The exterior had visible trash and debris scattered all over the frontage and parking lot, a poor first impression for a restaurant. Inside, there was an extremely strong fish odor that made the dining space uncomfortable. While some fish smell is expected in a seafood market, it was quite overpowering for a place serving meals. We chose to sit outside, but the outdoor seating area appeared disorganized. Tables and chairs were scattered, the tablecloths looked dirty, and the floor was wet from what appeared to be a spilled drink that hadn't been cleaned up. There was no host stand and no greeting from anyone when we arrived, so it wasn't clear if it was self seating or hosted. we couldn't tell employees from the customers. Eventually someone told us we could sit anywhere. The staff member who assisted us was friendly, but he didn't seem very familiar with the menu when we asked about the differences between the fish options. We were also told they were out of sugar-free beverages and there was no beverage menu available. With some attention to cleanliness and organization, this place could likely offer a much better dining experience. The place seemed better suited as a seafood market rather than a restaurant, so we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere. We hope the management takes note of these issues, as with some improvements this could be a much more enjoyable dining experience.

Quite little Seafood Restaurant in a small Strip Mall has a kinda unique feature that you don't see too often in South Florida but is common in my "Neck Of The Woods", there's a Fresh Seafood Market attached. The menu is not large but it has some pretty good items. Some are standard South Florida menu items Calamari, Conch Salad, Fritter, Scampi are among the offerings but there are a few standouts like: Blackened Fish, Shrimp Creole, Buffalo Shrimp, Caribbean Fish Soup, Shrimp And Grits, Po Boys and a few other sandwiches and pastas round out the menu. But the star of the show are the Fresh Shucked Oysters. From Virginia and only a $1.25 during Happy Hour, these oysters are delicious and have a different taste than their primos from the Gulf Of Mexico that I grew up on.....delicious nonetheless. The great staff makes dining here a much better experience. You're warmly welcomed and presented with a little bite of Krab Salad as soon as you sit. Happy Hour starts at 4PM and ends at 7PM. Do not miss the opportunity to indulge, it's a nice gateway to the great dinner you'll enjoy.

After a long week it's always good to go to a place that taste like home this place is literally…read moresome will call it a hole in the wall but you're be glad that you found this hole in the wall and especially if you're from Trinidad or Guyana or any West Indian culture this place always brings the flavor No as soon as you walk in it looks like your regular Caribbean restaurant not too fancy but that's what you want you wanna walk in and feel like you just walk into aunty place and you're hungry and you want something to eat So that will be the ambience ambience it's your regular restaurant. The service is always excellent they're always friendly soon as you walk in the food hits your nostros and makes your mouth water the location is located in Miramar not far from 441 and the prices are always right I would recommend anyone going in there getting the beef roti with a grape solo They also started to carry all natural organic coconut water Here's my review Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Price 5/5 Location 5/5 The foodie ninja shall return

Located along Pembroke Rd. in Miramar; S & A Caribbean Market is a small business, part market/restaurant, that carries various Caribbean items such as snacks, vitamins, beverages, grocery and baking items, seasonings, canned goods; and many more at very reasonable prices from Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, etc. There's also a section where you can get meat by the pound. There was only one person running the market and he was very pleasant. When I told him about the items I was looking for, which was split pea flour, and tumeric powder, he was kind enough to show me where the items was located. We even had a small conversation. As he was giving me tips to make the pholourie, he thought I was from Trinidad because of the way I spoke. I get that from people sometimes, but when I speak to Caribbean people, the island accent does come out. I didn't get the chance to venture through the restaurant because I had less than an hour before the business closed, but my Trini friend told me they make good roti so I got to come back to try some. I will also return to purchase other island items.
