Great store and good and unique product. Bit pricey (compared to Los Angeles) but considering original product from Azerbaijan it's worth it

We visited this establishment after finding it online while searching for seafood restaurants in…read morethe Hollywood area, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The exterior had visible trash and debris scattered all over the frontage and parking lot, a poor first impression for a restaurant. Inside, there was an extremely strong fish odor that made the dining space uncomfortable. While some fish smell is expected in a seafood market, it was quite overpowering for a place serving meals. We chose to sit outside, but the outdoor seating area appeared disorganized. Tables and chairs were scattered, the tablecloths looked dirty, and the floor was wet from what appeared to be a spilled drink that hadn't been cleaned up. There was no host stand and no greeting from anyone when we arrived, so it wasn't clear if it was self seating or hosted. we couldn't tell employees from the customers. Eventually someone told us we could sit anywhere. The staff member who assisted us was friendly, but he didn't seem very familiar with the menu when we asked about the differences between the fish options. We were also told they were out of sugar-free beverages and there was no beverage menu available. With some attention to cleanliness and organization, this place could likely offer a much better dining experience. The place seemed better suited as a seafood market rather than a restaurant, so we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere. We hope the management takes note of these issues, as with some improvements this could be a much more enjoyable dining experience.

We came here for the stone crab and found that they also have a restaurant. We ended up coming here…read moretwice while we were in town. We ordered their sushi and fried fish. Everything was amazing and extremely fresh. The service is amazing. AJ is very personable and is a great sushi chef. There are a few tables inside and a huge covered seating area. Come try this hidden gem!

The place is extremely beautiful inside all except for their depressing, "weird Barbie" bathroom…read more Spotlights throughout the entire store except for the bathroom which looks almost like a prison bathroom ...with bright ass Walgreens lighting, and old, worn down 90s looking dark faded Blue stall doors. Creepy vibe!!!! Makes you think the entire store is a huge phony. Milam Market bathroom is so much more nicer. I was attracted to this "business" because I entered another one in South Broward to pickup for ...someone, and the food there "seemed/looked" very good. The store overthere was empty of customers, just like this one. So I came to this one to get my paws on some of their tempting food, I got a lobster tail which was VERY tiny for over $20, ...fresh, uncooked unseasoned salmon which was also over $20, smoked gouda cheese pasta, and some costly ...blueberry lemon cake and a bistro meal which only out of everything tasted outstanding. I was shocked after the meat guy in the back of the store handed me the salmon, as this was hugely expensive!!!! The minute I walked into the store, their (White) old lady cashier with short, straight Black hair and ...glasses working in the afternoon purposely stared at me with SUCH hateful intimidation of my ...appearance, like she saw a ghost, like a nun observing an atheist. Sorry, I didn't get her name. Not even a hello or welcome or a smile when I said hi to her omw to the bathroom. Insecure bitch ...kept quiet when I went to pay too at her register, as I was not thinking anything of it. So now I understand why these places are ALWAYS a ghost town when you come here. Nobody goes to any of these. Everything here is extremely expensive and the staff have a reputation for acting like assholes, besides the meat guy. The gouda pasta I got was also sooo terribly disgusting. Checkout my pictures! I don't think I'll be back. Besides the pot roast mashed potatoes bistro, ...everything from here is nasty, and I just don't like the weird vibe here at all. Let's just see how much longer "Fresh ...Market" even stays in business. This reminds me of how lonely Babies-R-US store used to be, BIG time. Going outta business here, it's only a matter of time.
