Felt like we were being attended to, but not pressured. The entire experience felt both professional and relaxed (thanks Steve). Was impressed with the number of choices that we had for these items. There was a clearance area towards the back of the store that offered similar items, but with heavy discounted. We ended up getting the pieces that we were looking for. The prices were comparable to similar stores. Since we were buying a couple of pieces that agreed to give us an additional discount. (since these are clearance items there is no return) We had our own truck, and since these were clearance items, we were able to get them immediately. The wrapped them up and helped to get them in the moving truck. A excellent first buying experience. Would come back in the future.

We…read morepurchased a nice leather sofa 2 1/2 years ago which arrived 5 months later with the legs broken off (all of them!) As we waited months to get them replaced, the reclining mechanism on one end broke so we requested that be repaired. I'll spare you all the details over the last 2 years but they've replaced reclining mechanisms 4 times with anther one waiting for repair. When I've spoken with customer service they've said they won't talk compensation until everything is repaired. I finally said we need to talk compensation. Their representative was going to put in a claim to the manufacturer and said we have a good case. Well the manufacturer doesn't make that sofa any longer (I wonder why?) and said they wouldn't offer compensation as the sofa is now beyond the warranty period!!! So, here's what they will do - they will replace the mechanism - for FREE, including parts and labor AND they'll give me $150 for all the time I've spent waiting for service people to repair this piece of s---! What a deal, huh? This morning I told them I don't want compensation for my time I want compensation for a sofa I spent $3500 on and has NEVER been in new condition. I've worked in retail, my hubby runs a retail business...I would NEVER treat a customer like this. Word to the wise...from someone who wasn't: don't shop at Hom. If you do, don't let them push you out of your warranty. I fully expected they would be fair to me. Please spread the word!!

My mother and I went to this Sleep Number store and ordered a bed on October 13, 2015. We were told…read morewe would have it delivered in two weeks and that someone would call to set up a time to deliver it. Two weeks later I got a call and was told that it would be FOUR MORE weeks to get my bed because the headboard is hand made and they just switched over to a new computer system and everything was backlogged. So they said my bed would be ready by the 27th of November. I told her to have it delivered on November 30th because no one would be around the day after Thanksgiving. Monday the 30th came. They only had the headboard, the frame, and rails BUT NO BED. My mother refused it and they sent it back. I spent and HOUR on the phone just on HOLD on Monday. I spent 30 minutes on the phone while the gal tried to find out where my bed went to. She said something happened with the order got all messed up for some reason or another. But she figured it out and then tells me I need to call the next evening to set up a time to have my bed delivered because she had to reorder the bed and it had to go through the system. I called again this evening and at first she says she can't find the order and the computer won't allow her to book my delivery. She just called me and we set up a delivery date but it won't be for another week and a half. If I knew I was going to wait for a bed this long I would have went somewhere else and so should you. :(

Stand and chair took FOREVER to get, don't want to make a claim as replacement would take another eternity complete with all the put offs and lame excuses.
