I love this salon. I had my hair cut by Beth (a recommendation from my aunt) and was quite pleased with the result. The haircut I had before Beth got her hands on my hair was one of the worst haircuts I have ever had... Beth to the rescue. Not only did she "fix" my hair, but she also gave it great style. The salon is much cheaper than the pricier salons that I've become accustomed to in bigger cities, but maintains the level of professionalism, skill, and expertise that you expect from big salons. read more

I think Bravo Salon may be the only salon I've ever been to that employs a color-blind hair stylist. I saw this Bravo stylist awhile back (not sure if she still works there) and she literally was unable to visually detect any variations of red in hair. Strawberry blond was "gold" and all reds were either "light," "medium," or "dark" brown. I tested her out with several pictures, growing increasingly fearful with each response she provided. This, of course, is a huge problem for someone like me, with level 7 ginger hair (sorry, LIGHT BROWN) that needed regrowth color matched. I decided to press on anyway, as I was overcome by her confidence and my talent for not listening to my gut. Unfortunately, but not completely unexpected, she "matched" my root growth to my length and I left there with beautiful magenta roots, because, well...colorblindness. I called and asked for a color correction and after that I had green roots, which might be an improvement depending on your color preference. Needless to say, I never returned for an additional color correction. The girl was super nice, though. I can't remember her name, but I wouldn't give it here anyway even if I did. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot write a review on any particular services, as we weren't able to receive any. My friend, who had an appointment, and I drove an hour to Bravo in Eau Claire for her to receive a spray tan before her wedding day. We ran about 10 minutes late and I attempted to call the salon several times to warn them, only to receive a busy signal. When we entered the salon at 1010am, we were informed that my friend had lost her appointment due to being late and there were no openings for the remainder of the day. We attempted to explain what had happened and were given rude remarks about how we were late. I would never go to this salon after this experience. I understand that they are running a business, but a spray tan takes about ten minutes and doesn't require an employee to do anything, so there was really no logical explanation as to why they couldn't squeeze my friend in in an 8 hour period. read more

They are more expensive than other place I've gone, but I'm always happy when I walk out with a new haircut or relaxing massage! read more

Have had several services here over the last two years. I visit a friend here every so often and it's a great place for manicure or pedicure. I also love my customized facials and waxing with JP. Everything from the ambiance to the front desk, the coffee/tea bar and warm packs for my neck, to the wonderful attention to detail services. I had a reflexology appointment today and was extremely annoyed with the wind howling through the ceiling and the air conditioner blowing directly on me during the duration of the appointment. When one schedules a spa appointment, we want a relaxing experience. A spa should never be housed in a building with the structural flaw that exists with this building. Howling wind and an air conditioner vent directly overhead makes no sense. The owner(s) should not be so naive as to think this is okay. Also, the reflexologist applied no pressure - very weak hands and technique and overall disappointing experience. I will be calling the owner directly. read more

Went in for a Brazilian wax (second time at this facility). Ended up being on the waxing table for an hour and a half in constant pain because the technician was having to wax the same area multiple times. By the end I was in tears. I had a previous successful wax (in half the time) so this had to have been the technique or maybe the wax? When I called in to discuss with a manager she let me know it was my fault for not getting regular waxes (I get them when I take vacations) and that I should have allowed the technician stop when she offered (so I could have left with half of an uneven Brazilian wax???). Bravo Salon was completely unwilling to take ownership of this tortuous situation that I went through and not only refused to take ownership but tried to pin the situation back on me. The manager let me know that "I got what I paid for." I didn't realize that a "high end" Aveda Salon was in the business of charging $65 for a procedure that took double the amount of time and double the pain. Will not be returning and hope that no one else has the same experience. read more
