This company is grossly incompetent, inaccurate with what they put on a gravestone worth $6,000, and it took them nearly half a year to deliver it to the grave site!! And probably overcharged us in the midst of our grief when we weren't quite able to keep track. We put a down payment on a gravestone for our parents in 2016 after my stepfather's sudden death. In January of 2017, they sent a mock-up with all the information screwed up. They put their wedding date as my mother's death date, and my mother is still alive! We got this finally fixed in early March of 2017, and they made us give them full payment of close to $6,000 when we signed off on the mock-up. At the time, they promised that the gravestone would be delivered in "eight weeks at the latest". THREE months later, I walked into PF Eisenbrown (same company as Earl Wenz Monuments) to find out why it wasn't done, and they claimed they had never gotten the final mock-up. But they had gotten it when we paid in full!!. They lost it, did nothing, and then tried to blame it on us! To move things along, I signed off on the mock-up again in early June. All of July and most of August passed -- now almost half a year from our full and final payment -- and they weren't calling me back. They finally placed the gravestone in late August -- and they screwed it up!! The middle initial is missing from my stepfather's name, and the civil engineer symbol -- which they talked my mother into paying extra for is not on the gravestone at all. All of it was on the mock-up, but I guess they don't check their work -- when they are making a gravestone!! This is exploitation of a grieving widow and family!! read more
