Decided to grab lunch with my boyfriend or should I say he decided to grab lunch with me. Time: we arrived around 1:30 p.m on a Friday and was seated immediately. Not a huge crowd but it wasn't completely dead either. We were seated near the back which was great because the booth was completely large. Waitress &Menu: Our waitress was very sweet and didn't grow impatient when needed extra time to order. The menu was a nice variety and I was very impress with all the selections. Orders: My order was the sesame chicken and brown rice. Please please share the rice;it is a huge bowl! My food was very hot in temperature but not in taste which isn't a bad idea. I am not heavily soy sauce person but I did need to add a little. I felt my chicken lack the extra pinch of salt. But that's not really a big deal for me. My boyfriend ordered the chicken lo Mein which was yummy (yes I ate some of his)! His was also a very hot temp but not salty. Did I mentioned their house chicken egg rolls? I ordered P.F. Chang's via Postmates, which was also my first Postmates experience. Postmates was having a party and I got free delivery for ordering within 5 minutes. Anyway, I knew I had only 5 minutes to make a decision, so I was able to search the menu for "noodles" and came across the Hokken Street Noodles. I wasn't familiar, but was willing to talk he plunge. The rice noodles, curry, chicken, and vegetables are what got my interest. My delivery arrived right at the estimated time. I was happy that my food was hot and packed well. The noodles and other ingredients had an incredible flavor that made me wish I had more. The only drawback was I had an eggshell (I hope) when I was almost finished. Overall I was happy with my selection and will probably try Postmates again. read more

Had a nice time at PF changs the other night. My fiancé and I decided to split the pork and shrimp dumplings. Pork dumplings were good but I could eat multiple plates of the shrimp dumplings they were so good. We each got hot and sour soup and then tried something new and split the Japache noodles (Korean glass noodles). The noodles were very good - softer and chewier consistency then the lo mein or Singapore noodles. Lots of veggies and nicely filling. Would order again! read more

Food was mid, to be expected from PF Chang's. We both ate different things and didn't have an issue really with the food its self. The problem I have is the bartender/ server at the counter offered us an appetizer to try, and made it come across as it wasn't going to be charged, but low and behold he added it to the bill. Our experience was absolutely lovely yesterday starting with Ashley who was so sweet and kind! She noticed that my mom has a hard time walking as I was guiding her and it was more difficult due to coming from an eye appointment where her eyes had been dilated. She ensured that mom was able to sit in a booth close to the entrance and helped her as she decided which side was less bright so she could enjoy her meal. Ashley could have just shown us to our table, dropped off the menus and been on her way (which is fine), but I was very touched by how patient she was with mom to make sure she was comfortable. I also observed her being just as gracious and patient with two other older ladies as we were wrapping up our meal. Ashley even helped fold up and secure one of the ladies' walkers. Our server, Lenora, was also very nice and attentive! The service was wonderful and she made sure we were taken care of very well. Both ladies had such great smiles and sweet spirits. It was also very nice to see all the servers and table runners working so nicely together and everyone was very friendly and smiling! Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience! read more

We had a taste for Chinese and I prefer Wangs but my wife likes P.F. Chang's so guess what we ordered curbside form Changs. I prefer not to go there because normally prequantine they always mess my order up. Anyway I ordered curbside and when I get there to pick it up I call to tell them that I'm outside. A young man comes out and says that they don't have my order. I let him know what I ordered then show him the call that showed Changs I. My call log. I ask to speak to the manager and he said that he was the manager. He went back in the then came back and said that they didn't have my order and retook it. He then brought me the ticket with a discount and I paid with tip no sweat. A few minutes later a young lady brings out my order and I head home to eat and to my surprise the crispy honey shrimp that I was looking forward to was missing. I called back up there asked to speak with the manager and the young lady said hold on. She left me on hold and never came back to the phone so I called from my wife's phone and the manager answered who took my order the first time and told me that he didn't even write that part of my order down. I asked him what he could do to satisfy an unsatisfied customer for next time and he just got quiet and said that he was sorry so I said ok then and hung up. Service was fine but the food was just...eh. I view PF Chang's as the more talented father of Pei Wei. Just as Pei Wei on G'town has become inconsistent in flavor and presentation, PF Chang's seems to have declined in taste and quality. I'd rather support a local independent. I went there with my mom and two kids for lunch. The service was great, but the food wasn't worth $150! We ordered seared halibut, Mapo tofu, fried rice, lettuce wrap, egg rolls, and two desserts. The only food my kids ate was the lettuce wrap, some fried rice and desserts. We didn't care for the halibut because it was tough, drenched in oil and placed on a bed of spinach. Not the steamy melting in your mouth we imagined it to be. We had better Mapo tofu that has soft tofu in minced pork and Szechuan chili peppers. Theirs was sweet and has fried tofu. Avoid this restaurant at all costs!! My mom picked up a to go order and there was a HAIR NET with hair inside in our food bag. This is the nastiest thing I've ever seen in my life from a restaurant. What's even more disturbing is that this seemed like an intentional act. I can't fathom how someone could accidentally drop their hairnet in our to-go food bag. The fact that the hair net was at the very top of the bag and no employees noticed this before giving us the food is unacceptable. I was so grossed out I could not eat my food. I understand things happen at restaurants but this should NEVER ever happen. My mom went back to the restaurant and got a refund. However, the manager Anthony was not friendly at all and did not even apologize for this horrific experience. I will never eat here again. I will be reporting this restaurant to the Tennessee department of heath for the filthy and unsanitary conditions. read more

I like PF Chang's but I don't love it!? The lettuce wraps of course are SUPER good and is their signature menu item. I do really like the kung pao chicken with white rice, it is super flavorful and spicy! Deciding to come here for happy hour tonight and eat on patio. Was told no happy hour and patio was closed. Sorry but why do you have a patio when you don't open it. Decided to stay -- service was not great. Waiter was very short and certainly not very friendly. Got our appetizer in a decent amount of time. Almost 25 mins later FINALLY got our entrees. We only ordered 2 so it could not been that difficult. When food came it was lukewarm like it had been sitting in the window for a bit. Portions of the entrees was very small. Oh substitute fried rice for regular rice and you'll pay an extra $3.00 for carrots, a few peas and soy sauce. This place needs to change their business model if they are to be successful. Stopped in for dinner. I always love the decor and bid statues. I gave to say, when we first sat down, my partner and I noticed a musty smell. We sniffed the napkins, but I have no idea what it was. Busy during lunch I'd say but the seating area is lounge and spacious to the wait was not too long. Service was very friendly but a wee bit on the slow side. My server was most friendly but I'm sure the kitchen was a bit behind. I ate here while charging my car at the nearby Tesla chargers so it's convenient if you're driving through the area. The food was as you'd expect at PF Chang's. Reliable, pleasant and prompt, but nothing to write home about I'd say. I had the steamed chicken dumplings (four pieces) and the udon chicken noodle bowl. The environment was very welcoming. It was my sisters birthday dinner so I expected quite a bit. The menu items weren't explained the best, but the server had great customer service. I got the shrimp with lobster sauce and the Mongolian potstickers. My girlfriend got some sort of chicken. Her chicken was dry even with the sauce on it. My shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had great seasoning. The pomegranate lemonade was tasty, the spike of liquor was needed. Set it all off. Will come back for sure tho. read more

I have been to other locations, this was our first time to the one in Memphis. We went for our 10th wedding anniversary. Will share the pros and cons of our experience. First off I had made reservations for 630pm asked for nice booth and an experienced server and mentioned it was for anniversary. We arrived a little early and they were able to get us seated almost immediately and dining room was not yet crowded for a Saturday night. First impressions when entering the restaurant were disappointing, they have areas obviously being remodeled so it was in disarray and other locations have been beautifully decorated this one looks more like they were trying to go more modern but looks a bit cheesy. We were seated in a booth with a pendant light over it that had a ridiculously bright little bulb that almost blinded us if we tried to look up across the room. Took 15 mins before we were even acknowledged at our table and 30 mins after being sat before our order was taken. Kept having to wave other people down because our server would go MIA and we needed something. Didnt catch servers name but going to call her "Of Course" because thats what she said everytime we asked something or placed an order lol. Had the Cheese wontons for apps... they were under whelming have had them in basic Chinese restaurants that were much better and they barley had any filling for the price expected better. Wouldn't order them again.. I ordered the salt and pepper prawns with fried rice. The shrimp was delicious as usual was very happy with those, the very light crispy fry on them with the spicy dipping sauce... yum. Hubs had the BBQ short ribs and an order of fried rice. All of it was excellent, the ribs were tender and the sauce is a thick sweet and spicy sticky sauce which we both really liked kind of like BBQ sauce and sweet and sour sauce mixed together... Since was our anniversary we ordered the great wall of Chocolate which I have loved at other locations but been a long time since had a piece. This was first time it came out on a hot plate because it had been put in the oven to heat it before serving. It was actually burt to a crisp along the edge and all the icing was just a melted pool have no idea why they want to cook a perfectly good piece of cake. We sent it back and asked for a piece togo that they didnt heat. Overall meal was very good, Service was slow and a little inattentive, ambiance is a real miss, restaurant needs attention and could be cleaner. I got takeout cuz ya know the "Rona". I noticed immediately upon entering all staff was wearing masks however most of them had the masks below their nose. Being in the medical field this is a pet peeve. It also did not ease my anxiety to see so many employees in such close quarters. The kitchen was flooded with staff. The food was good and consistent with previous visits. The lettuce for the wraps was a bit small and weak but hey hard times. Although the food was good I'm giving them 3 stars because I think they could do better. I believe quality standards need to be raised to previous levels. Pf Chang s Ma Po Tofu is my husband's favorite. We order for picks up several times a month and I have the fun of trying out all the other noodle dishes. The Singapore street noodles is the best deal for me ... flavor-wise, and price wise. If i didnt to watch the budget, i would want to try the Chilean Bass, the salmon etc. Happy 2023. Had the chicken egg rolls. They were lukewarm and not crispy, they were just ok. Their egg rolls in the grocery store freezer section are much better, go figure. Filo vs wonton wrappers. Wouldn't order again. Also ordered the lunch portion of their spicy chicken. It was served hot and quiet tasty but they charge 1.00 for rice that I should have passed on. Service was good.
