    Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps
    Sami X.

Picked up what I believe (from online sources) is their best appetizer - Chicken lettuce wraps. It's ok but the dipping sauce helps. It's what you would expect from Asian-inspired American cuisine. Came for my birthday reward (free app/dessert if you download and sign up through the app), which is a nice almost $15 value depending on what app/dessert you yet. Ordered via app and the front staff were friendly and quick in retrieving my order on a Wednesday afternoon. Plenty of accessible parking.

Recently checked out Happy Hour on Sunday and had a nice meal. I started off with the Pink Lotus Cosmo. My bartender was able to make mine with well whiskey and it was really good. I started off with an order of northern style pork spare ribs. It had a really nice dry rub and the meat was tender. I also enjoyed an order of pan seared pork dumplings and an order of pan seared shrimp dumplings. Both dishes came with a spicy chili sauce and green onions. The dumplings were meaty and cooked perfectly. I dined late Sunday evening at the bar, the ambiance was very chill and relaxing. My server was attentive, checked on me often and made some delicious drinks! The restaurant has a very nice aesthetic and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!!

We chose this place on our way out of town completely as a curiosity since where we're at in PA, the nearest P.F.'s is a good hour and a half away. Seen one, but definitely never had been to one. Doing this in reverse, the overall vibe and theme to me for coming here is basically take the Chinese takeout that you can get in Anytown USA, make it sit down instead of take-out or delivery only, double the price and tweak the food to elevate it a little bit. Whether or not there's any ROI to that, is a big Caveat Emptor. Service: Less than ideal. Only two people working the floor (one is also training someone) and they're taking orders, running food and bussing their own tables. It was a decent lunch crowd and after we were seated it was a solid 15+ minutes until the drink order was taken. Food: Sweet and Sour Chicken - Honey Chicken - Banana Spring Rolls The two chicken dishes were basically the same thing just with a different sauce. I will say that the quality of the chicken was good for both but each came out a little heavy on the onions and peppers mixed in. The spring roll dessert was a freebie thrown in by the server for the excessive upfront wait and honestly, he should have kept it. Of the desserts you could order here that one sounds the worst. The spring roll wrappers on the bananas were soft-limp-soggy. No bueno. I appreciate the gesture, but asking would have been better. Not everyone is down with banana as/in their dessert. Slow as heck service along with mid-overpriced food. Believe me, the curiosity itch to come back to a P.F. Change's has been more than scratched.

Not sure what is happening with the advent of Covid. This was one of the go to place but not anymore. Their appetizers lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp still good but the entrees pepper beef and Kungpao chicken tasted salty and dry. Kids fried rice bland. The Great Wall chocolate was rich but not comforting, Peach tea was good even though too sweet. The servers was kind to not charge for the pepper beef as a courtesy did not even charge for lettuce wrap. We are foodies. Love eating out. It is sad to see businesses going down especially in my local. Better business better for the community. Hope this place gets back to what it used to be because their food and service used to be good and the place used to be packed most always.

Nice pleasant dinner. Service by Treasure was awesome. Very attentive. I enjoyed my Pad Thai without tofu! Nice they can make it to order. Sangria was very tasty as well with the fresh strawberries. For a chain I can say we do enjoy going here.

an expensive dissapoint: long take out wait and over cooked food Been ages since I've treated myself to PF Chang's and I won't be going back. I ordered take-out with a scheduled ready time. Even though I arrived on-time, the food did not and I ended up waiting about 15 min. I was not alone :( There were several of us waiting for our food. Take a look at the chicken wrap lettuce ... whatever happened to having a large peice of lettuce to wrap around the filling? These leaves didn't wrap, more like a scoop. The chicken was over cooked but not as over cooked and dried out as the pork in the pork fried rice. Blech! The pot sickers were good (thankfully) but at $15 not really worth it and the spicy chicken was bland. All in all, did not live up to my fond memories. There is much better and less expensive chinese / asian food in the area.

Cement floors, uncomfy metal chairs and a cold room. Waitress was nice and attentive. Pad Thai and seaweed salads ordered. And tea , it was cold. Barely any seaweed and a bunch of lettuce. Tasty but small. Very small. The pad Thai was a very very large dish with a very small portion. Either lower the price or make the meals a tad bigger. I understand we were at Pinecrest but it still was very little food. Maybe this is why we were there for two hours and were the only patrons. I will likely not return.

Both times my experience was pretty wonderful. Came here for dinner on Mother's Day because Lao Szechuan was a 45-min wait. Welp, my 7-yr old's simple sushi order took 45min to get so on second thought, we definitely should've just waited! My BF ordered a coconut Thai soup and it was $9 for a half filled tiny bowl with only a few pieces of mushroom and bits of tofu. He liked it but was put off by the tiny amount, lack of veggies and high price. I ordered the Dragon noodle which came with the chef's recommendation. The amount of noodles in the bowl was a joke. And they took the cheap route by using rice noodles instead of wheat, egg or anything else. The spare ribs were a bit overcooked and dry but at least not bland. I wouldn't pair it with broccoli--bak choy, mushrooms, woodear, bamboo would've been so much better. And Asian. The worst part about the visit is that our server never updated us on where the sushi went. I had to ask a different server who told us the sushi orders were lost. Okay...still no apology or acknowledgement of where the dish went after ordering it 40+ min ago. When it finally came, the other server brought it out and our server said nothing about it. My poor daughter was so hungry and watching us eat our dishes. I gave her a big portion of my meal so she could enjoy dinner as well. The place cleared out and emptied completely as we were still trying to enjoy the sushi that just came out. No apology, no offers of comped meal or discount...I even had to ask for chopsticks and water refills and the check and a takeout container. The value is just nil here and the quality has gone down since first visiting here in 2022. Service is bad and their shades don't even go down so the sun was obnoxiously in our face the entire time. Skip Pinecrest and go to Asiatown for a more authentic and better priced experience!

It's beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting without being over the top. We started with the Thai tea, and it's an absolute must. For food, the beef pho was exactly what you want--rich, hearty, and super comforting. It came with a generous side of fresh condiments so you can customize each bite. We also tried the vermicelli with shrimp and pork, which was just as impressive. It was loaded with fresh veggies like cucumber, carrots, lettuce, and bean sprouts, plus crunchy peanuts and an incredibly flavorful fish sauce that tied everything together. Service was pretty fast even on a busy night, which we really appreciated. They also offer to-go cups for drinks--a small but thoughtful touch. Although you can hear every single conversation around you, it isn't a bother. Suggestion, play some cool Asian fusion music to enhance the experience. Our servers left something to be desired. The initial interaction with the lady serving bread only knew 3 words...bread, one or two. I wanted to communicate with her, but wearing an outdoor winter vest and her disconnected behavior canceled that attempt. Tyler was our server who we barely saw. I had to ask his name, and thats a pet peeve to start. He never cleared our bread and butter dishes ...also annoying to have dirty dishes in front of me...especially after I pushed them to the edge ... a clear indication to take it away. Now the food. My corn chicken chowder was served hot and creamy. Loved it. The spinach, mushroom and mozarella stuffed bacon wrapped chicken breast perched atop over cooked bok choy... laced atop bacon rice and surrounded by a 5spice seasoning was beautiful BUT overwhelming. The price was cool at $26 , however I doubt ANYONE can eat this serving. It would be better a smaller portion and lesser price. It was seriously enuf food for more than 2 people unless your just a gluten. I wish I had room for dessert because they all look like a work of art! Kudos but also let's be more reasonable. Upon entering we were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman who immediately seated us at a comfortable table in the center of the restaurant where we were quickly greeted by Nathaniel, a marvelous young man with a ready smile and quick whit. Her suggestions were spot on. The staff worked together all evening like a fine tuned machine. At any moment someone would suddenly appear at our table to satisfy our every desire. Our meal started with the "Dumplings Variety Sampler" which gave us 2 of each of the available 4 different dumplings. They were an excellent start... flavorful, with just a touch of spice yet not too filling. I followed that with the "Lamb Shank" perfectly prepared and loaded with flavors. My wife & brother had the "Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef" which they said was excellent. My sister in law had the "Dan Dan Noodles" which was full of flavor but a little too spicy for her taste. We followed our meal with an excellent cup of coffee and the "Chinese Cobbler". It was a marvelous evening with exceptional service and wonderful food.
