I was skeptical when we chose to eat a P.F. Chang's at 8 PM on Good Friday, but our experience was really an encouragement. We arrived and the restaurant wasn't terribly busy. The hostess was attentive and engaging as she asked us for our seating preferences. We ended up sitting at a booth designed for four people sitting side-by-side. Our incredibly energetic and quite pleasant server, Amanda, then visited us to talk about the menu, take our drink orders, and get to know us. We began the evening with the shared house salad. It was a generous serving of romaine lettuce, croutons, and sesame dressing. We enjoyed it thoroughly. For our entrées, my girlfriend got Mongolian beef and I got an off the menu trio of beef, chicken, shrimp, and broccoli. Both dishes were generous without being excessive, well-cooked, appropriately presented, and tasty. We ordered the brown rice as the accompaniment, which was a good choice for us. Amanda was very helpful in guiding our choices without being intrusive. We accompanied dinner with a glass of Pinot Noir and Cabernet respectively, which was fine. No complaints. For dessert we got a very interesting banana spring roll and ice cream dish. It was delightfully tasty, not too sweet, and the perfect capstone to a lovely evening. We happily took about half of our dinner home for lunch tomorrow. All in all it was an exceptional experience, including the very friendly and fun-loving couple next to us. The ambience of the restaurant is dark without being foreboding; classically decorated as you experience the PF Chang Brand, with convenient parking and location. My only comment, and I have to dig deep for this one, is that the ambient music is incompatible with the restaurant's theme. It was some pseudo pop music droning on, which has no connection to the Brand. I would think some interesting Asian-fusion themes would be delightful. read more

Pretty good. Chocolate cake was nice and moist. Brussels sprouts were well sauced and had nice toppings. Teriyaki beef without pineapple was tasty. P.F. Chang's it's not the P.F. Chang's long ago. The food is subpar their website does not offer a number to call . The website says that it has curbside pick up. When you get to the restaurant, there is no number to call to get the curbside pick up. After sitting there for 10 minutes, I finally went in and the waitress told me that they don't offer curbside pick up. On top of this ,I found tiny bits of plastic in my pepper steak dinner. Since they don't have any way for you to call or contact them via phone, I have to drive back up there and show them this product. I will be posting a picture of it. Picked up what I believe (from online sources) is their best appetizer - Chicken lettuce wraps. It's ok but the dipping sauce helps. It's what you would expect from Asian-inspired American cuisine. Came for my birthday reward (free app/dessert if you download and sign up through the app), which is a nice almost $15 value depending on what app/dessert you yet. Recently checked out Happy Hour on Sunday and had a nice meal. I started off with the Pink Lotus Cosmo. My bartender was able to make mine with well whiskey and it was really good. I started off with an order of northern style pork spare ribs. It had a really nice dry rub and the meat was tender. I also enjoyed an order of pan seared pork dumplings and an order of pan seared shrimp dumplings. Both dishes came with a spicy chili sauce and green onions. The dumplings were meaty and cooked perfectly. I dined late Sunday evening at the bar, the ambiance was very chill and relaxing. My server was attentive, checked on me often and made some delicious drinks! The restaurant has a very nice aesthetic and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!! read more

We came here the day after Thanksgiving for lunch and were seated immediately as a party of 7 people. The space is large so I wouldn't say you would need to make a reservation as there were only a few seated tables. FYI it is COLD inside! Many tables were eating with their winter coats on + scarves/hats. The food itself was okay - I had the lunch portion of sesame chicken and the food did come out hot. The brown rice was slightly under cooked so had more of a bite than what I was used to and there was a lot of sauce. Service was okay - our guy was always floating around but couldn't remember who ordered what. He also spilled a glass of water on our table and spilled some of the soup when he brought it out. But he's also working the day after Thanksgiving so he gets some grace for that. Overall my experience here was very okay but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. read more

We chose this place on our way out of town completely as a curiosity since where we're at in PA, the nearest P.F.'s is a good hour and a half away. Seen one, but definitely never had been to one. Doing this in reverse, the overall vibe and theme to me for coming here is basically take the Chinese takeout that you can get in Anytown USA, make it sit down instead of take-out or delivery only, double the price and tweak the food to elevate it a little bit. Whether or not there's any ROI to that, is a big Caveat Emptor. Service: Less than ideal. Only two people working the floor (one is also training someone) and they're taking orders, running food and bussing their own tables. It was a decent lunch crowd and after we were seated it was a solid 15+ minutes until the drink order was taken. Food: Sweet and Sour Chicken - Honey Chicken - Banana Spring Rolls The two chicken dishes were basically the same thing just with a different sauce. I will say that the quality of the chicken was good for both but each came out a little heavy on the onions and peppers mixed in. The spring roll dessert was a freebie thrown in by the server for the excessive upfront wait and honestly, he should have kept it. Of the desserts you could order here that one sounds the worst. The spring roll wrappers on the bananas were soft-limp-soggy. No bueno. I appreciate the gesture, but asking would have been better. Not everyone is down with banana as/in their dessert. We waited forever for a server to take our drink order, once he did, another server came over 5 mins later to take our drink order again. They brought the wrong drinks. Not sure what is happening with the advent of Covid. This was one of the go to place but not anymore. Their appetizers lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp still good but the entrees pepper beef and Kungpao chicken tasted salty and dry. Kids fried rice bland. The Great Wall chocolate was rich but not comforting, Peach tea was good even though too sweet. The servers was kind to not charge for the pepper beef as a courtesy did not even charge for lettuce wrap. We are foodies. Love eating out. It is sad to see businesses going down especially in my local. Better business better for the community. Terrible service! Arrived Wed. 5:15. Waited 5 min. at check-in desk for someone to show up. Went to bar for a drink. Nobody there. Waited almost 10 min before girl showed up to get the 2 drinks. My other daughter showed up & another 5 min to find a girl to get another drink. At 6 o'clock we went to a booth. There was hardly anybody there. All the tables with chairs were empty. Just some foods have people in them. There was one other table that had eight or nine people on it. We waited for 25 minutes and finally flagged a girl down who is walking by to see if she could take an order for us. We ordered two waters and one more drink. She brought the waters and took our food order. When the salads came out, the drinks still had not been brought to us, and she said it was a delay at the bar. It did not come out until the mail came out. Every time she come over it would be after a long wait. I made a comment to her why it was taking so long since there was nobody in the restaurant. She said she was waiting on the other table with the larger group, so we were always waiting for service. I asked for honey shrimp. She brought me honey chicken. So that had to go back and be re-ordered. Again, there was still nobody else in the restaurant. It was a Wednesday night. Not even a weekend. After all the hassle, we did not leave until 8 o'clock . 2 hours 45 minutes just to get a drink and a meal. Ridiculous. I used to come to PF Chang's all the time when I lived close by. This time I brought my two daughters, and was bragging to them how good the food was. I was embarrassed at how bad the service was. They said the food was not remarkable. Even though I arrived on-time, the food did not and I ended up waiting about 15 min. I was not alone :( There were several of us waiting for our food. Take a look at the chicken wrap lettuce ... whatever happened to having a large peice of lettuce to wrap around the filling? These leaves didn't wrap, more like a scoop. The chicken was over cooked but not as over cooked and dried out as the pork in the pork fried rice. Blech! The pot sickers were good (thankfully) but at $15 not really worth it and the spicy chicken was bland. All in all, did not live up to my fond memories. I'm sorry to say that this visit to this P.F. Chang's will be our last. We've made numerous visits to this and other P.F. Chang's over the years. However, this location has had the most dramatic drop in service and quality of any restaurant I've ever seen. I should have known something was up when we arrived and the parking lot was almost empty. When we walked in, there was no one to great us. We waited for several minutes until somebody walked out of the back and acknowledged us. Several more minutes passed before somebody came to seat us. After we made our drink order, we waited quite a while for our order to arrive as there was no bartender behind the bar. We ordered an appetizer of lettuce wraps. In the past, they have always been very good. This time, however, the filling tasted like it came out of a bag from the frozen food section of the local grocery store. Not at all what I remembered. My wife ordered the egg drop soup which had no flavor at all. I ordered an egg roll, but the texture of the filling was off-putting. for dinner, my wife ordered the shrimp, which was just okay. I ordered the Mongolian Beef which was overcooked and dry. It was very obvious that the restaurant staff was not well trained. Our server did her best and was friendly. But, I expect better service when paying the prices that P.F. Chang's charges. I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant. read more

We have always loved P.F. Chang's quality of food. But last week that changed. We ordered three meals to go, two soups, and Aprils. None of the food could be eaten. It looked awful and it taste worse. The egg rolls weren't even cooked. I wonder if they're under new management or new owner. I have contacted them several times about the quality of the food we received, but they ignored our calls for help. I'm afraid they've lost customers for good. read more

I got a late take out order of beef lo mein and steamed dumplings on a Thursday night. It was a last minute call for me and i picked up about 30min before close. The food was hot and very yummy. Dumplings were great served with a mild chili sauce. Lo mein had too much oil for me which is a common mistake with many Chinese food spots. Otherwise, service was timely and overall experience was solid. My friend would not shut up about how amazing PF changs is- I'm a foodie and I've never been so we decided to go for Easter on a long road trip. Calamari was OK- the lettuce wraps were definitely tasty but were so oily that I could tell that there was nothing healthy about them. I got kung pao chicken, it was mediocre at best. Not to mention, this place is expensive! My dinner was roughly $20 and I could've gotten the same thing and twice as tasty for half the price at a mom and pop shop in the local town. He was friendly, answered our questions with interest, and was very kind. He made us feel welcomed. We ordered hot tea and our selections. We didn't wait long. Everything looked wonderful, and was delicious. We shared. The salmon entree was excellent. I liked the crispy green bean app with a mild spicy sauce, enough for four people to munch on. P.F. Chang's is always good. Tonight was no exception. I had the steamed shrimp dumplings and the Mongolian Beef with a side of fried rice. I was a little expensive but worth it. The food was good. One tip the waiter gave after they brought my food out was you can have them throw in your rice with your meal when they're cooking it and then your rice will have all the flavor of your meal. They can't always do it when it's busy but when it's not crazy busy, they can. Doesn't hurt to ask but I thought overall that would be really good and you likely wouldn't have to get a side of fried rice if you wanted to save a little money. Thanks for the tip. Ps. This restaurant has always been a classic and favorite for me, so we decided to spontaneously go for lunch as I haven't been in quite some time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an amicable host, and seated immediately. The ambience is sleek and elegant, while maintaining an inviting and family friendly vibe. Onto the food! You can't come here without getting some lettuce wraps-- chicken or vegetarian. The crunchy crisp fresh lettuce wraps around the flavorful filling is a heavenly combination. I also ordered the Miso Glazed Salmon, which sat atop a bed of sautéed bok choy, mushrooms, and spinach. The glaze of the salmon was mildly sweet and complimented the savory vegetables well. The Buddhas Feast with tofu also had vibrant vegetables alongside a perfectly firm tofu that absorbed the pronounced flavor in the vegetables. Everything was bold in flavor and spices yet also light and refreshing. Each meal had a lovely balance of vegetables so I still felt energized after the meal. Unfortunately, the phone did not eat first this time so I didn't get any pictures of the delicious fare, except the delicious dessert. I love the Great Wall of Chocolate when I like to indulge, as the chocolate is decadent and there is just an irresistible combination and balance of cake and fudge. David, our waiter, provided exceptional service as he was patient with us as we couldn't figure out what we wanted to order. He answered our questions about the menu and brought everything out with no errors (even when we had a large takeout order). For the meal, we got combo fried rice (very good), orange chicken (okay, but not crazy about the new recipe), Mongolian beef (hubby liked it, but a bit too chewy for me), and crispy honey shrimp (good, but if you put "crispy" in the name, you need to deliver "crispy"). I got Sesame Chicken to go. The host who took my order was friendly. The food was not bad. It just wasn't very good. The chicken had very little flavor and the brown rice I ordered was very dry (maybe I should have ordered white rice or fried rice. ‍) Unfortunately they didn't include any soy sauce. Finally, I ordered an Arnold Palmer (1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade). He said they didn't have it in the computer but he'd put it in as lemonade and make sure it was 1/2 tea. - it wasn't. I ended up with straight lemonade. Like another reviewer put it, this is a bougie Chinese place. I've honestly had better at small Chinese owned restaurants. So unless you're just looking for the upscale ambiance, I'd pass by here for a real Chinese restaurant. read more

I stopped in here recently during an overnight stay for business. While it was very easy to place the order and pick up, for the price I paid, and portion size, I would have been upset. However, because it was a "free" meal I merely said "well I don't think I'll visit there again". Ordering was very simple, could be done from Google maps, and pickup was simple also. The Mongolian beef was good, nothing to go out of your for, but was good. While the experience want negative I don't see the value in coming here again unless it's another "free" meal. read more

It has been 5 years since I visited and was SHOCKED it's still open. How much money can the owners afford to lose??!! Again I was greeted by a stinky, overflowing trash can at the entry after tripping through the broken parking lot pavement. Upon entering I observed a nearly empty restaurant with the same slippery (greasy?), filthy floor I remembered from 5 years previous. The new menu features generic Asian fare which may simply have been microwaved and whose flavor ranks 4/10. I was however ignored for 12 minutes before I was greeted by waitstaff (I was seated at the bar for "quicker service"). While I was eventually served what I ordered, (read Post Office slow), the food was cold and had little flavor. Staff congregate and are either chatting between themselves or have their heads down in their cell phone while guests cool their heels waiting for the microwaved meal to be liberated from the heat lamp. BTW, the prices have now SKYROCKETED yet the venue and staff are poorly led, untrained and themselves frustrated. Changs, it's time to put yourselves out of the misery you call a restaurant. Please don't reply with an invitation to provide further information or make me a $5.00 off coupon. I want nothing but a real restaurant to buy you out of your lease and provide our community with what PF Chang's used to be. Respect your investors and our community to do the right thing. read more

I would have given a 0 if possible. I ordered fried rice eighth extra egg. Arrived home to find out there was no egg at all. So I called and requested to speak wet the Manager. An employee placed me on hold. Didn't ask me to hold then another employee gets on the phone. I'm assuming this is the manager so i explain my reason for calling he begins to tell me the egg is typically on the bottom. I said, "we've eaten the entire dish" no egg in site. He then doesn't say anything and puts me on hold. Someone else picks up, and says how can they help me. I am immediately is this the manager I was placed on hold after speaking with the manager. He says, "I'm the head honcho here!" So I ask did they share my purpose for calling. He says no. After explaining the same experience with him he says he'll credit my account. I said thank you. O receive an email with my credit of $2.00 for the extra egg. I didn't receive ANY egg but needless to say there's a reason this parking lot stays empty. Trash service and trash all the way around.
