If your AC unit takes a dump on you, these are the guys to call. I had an issue with my AC unit late on a Friday night. The house was hot and everyone wanted to schedule for the next day. Jose replied to my request on IG and let me know he could do it, but he had another emergency to handle before mine. He kept me in the loop with his eta to my house and when he arrived he went right to work. I work in the trade but on the balancing side not service. Let me tell you these guys are knowledgeable and professional. He walked me through the main issue as well as things to keep an eye out for in the future. My motor for the fan wheel ended up being shot so he cleaned it out for me and replaced the motor. Jose and his crew were quick and cordial the whole time. When I am ready to upgrade my unit these are the guys I'm going to call. Check them out here or on IG as well. Great guys to work with. Thank you Jose! I have never written a review on Yelp before, but I had to share how incredible Roberto and the P.E. HVAC team is! I have been a customer for years now, so when my A/C unit suddenly went offline, I reached out to Roberto for help and we scheduled a service for the next day, which was very much appreciated because of the summer heat. As usual, Roberto was extremely helpful and talked me through the issue. Most importantly, he was honest! My system is very old, so I had feared the worst. After 5 minutes (literally!), he found the cause of my problem and fixed it. There are other, less reputable technicians that could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me more for unnecessary repairs, but that is not what you get from Roberto. If you are looking for an honest professional to provide you with excellent service at a fair price, look no further. I am so glad to have found Roberto and the P.E. HVAC team! If you give them a try, I think you will be happy too. Thank you, Roberto! read more

My central AC wasn't working properly and right in the middle of an October heatwave. Called a local HVAC company and they weren't available for Saturday calls. Called P.E.HVAC and Roberto offered an appointment on Saturday, mind you i was calling him on Friday. After a slight delay, which Roberto notified me about, he shows up and diagnoses the problem all while I'm standing there watching him work. He explained every step of his testing and invited any questions. This guy is not only knowledgeable but honest as well. The problem was a bad motor and although Roberto didn't have the part he said he would look for it first thing Monday morning. Not only did Roberto drive about 25 miles to pick up the part he drove back to my house to repair the ac unit all in the same day. P.E.HVAC should be your first call! read more

I must say P.E HVAC is undeniably the best HVAC company around I called to have my system checked out not only did Robert come ASAP but the quality of work was immaculate we would of been without an AC over this hot weekend and I'm very grateful that he came out to fix our issue definitely 5 star work quality and very professional in all aspects no doubt I will be referring him to all my family and friends and our family thanks you Robert for all that you did for us thanks again read more

OK first of all I don't know why there aren't like 100 amazing reviews on here? I first spoke with Robert in early April when I realized that my investment property was in shambles. My former partner Joe Liebowitz who had remodeled my kitchen through his uncles company Abc convinced me he kbew construction. WRONG! He basically walked off the job only doing cosmetics and left the house in shambles with electric half done done poorly plumbing screwed up no AC heat everything was messed up. Gills Did the first half of the electric I'm literally the worst job multiple people have seen including LADBS! It did not pass inspection. They had wires everywhere, nothing was strapped, there were fire hazards n it was incomplete. No panel or subpanel. there was no venting for air-conditioning or heat so carbon monoxide could've come back in the house from the attic and poisoned the new owners if Robert Hadn't vented!! the plumbing was not connected properly essentially nothing was done the way it was supposed to be. It was an absolute nightmare. In addition the wiring was done shoddy so the fire detectors were too close together and not to code! The air-conditioning company had a legally trespassed out of the property and dropped a condenser that needed repair completely on hooked up absolute joke. Another thing I needed Robert to fix so I could pass inspection. I really wanted to build a quality house that was solid and I was determined to get that done. I have worked with Multiple electricians and plumbers since this first happened, and Robert has been the most thorough with videos before and after pictures, very clear estimates. No games a straight shooter and HONEST. He speaks to you in a way that's very clear, and makes sure you understand what is happening and what needs to be done. He Gave me options and choices. He is a true professional. It's has been so long since I've spoken spoken to someone who is ethical and intelligent, and knows their trade, and Robert knows his trade. I'm so grateful for connecting with PE HVAC and Robert. The house is now UPGRADED, pristine, safe and to code. PE HVAC and Robert are my new go to electricians, AC/HEAT and plumbers, solar etc! Professional, ethical, reliable, honest quality work! Thx Robert n PE HVAC read more

Roberto from P.E. HVAC came out to give us an estimate on some ducting work. His thorough explanation of the work needing to be done was easy to understand, and his in-depth knowledge of the HVAC system was very noticeable from the start. We had him do the work needed, and it was completed to high standards beyond what was expected, including some things beyond the scope of work agreed upon. His professionalism throughout the project was noticed by all of our staff, and it was much appreciated. Thank you for the awesome work you did on this project, Roberto! We will definitely be using you for future needs and will recommend P.E. HVAC to everyone. read more

Roberto and his workers are very skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to air conditioners. If you ask him a question, he will provide a very detailed answer because he is very passionate about his work and is also a wealth of knowledge. I had a mini-split system along with condenser pump installed in my den, which normally heats up like an oven in the afternoon. The mini-split that Roberto installed was super-quiet and made the room chilly in no time at all. I like this mini-split so much, I'm considering having them installed throughout my entire house instead of going with a central HVAC! read more

Roberto was very responsive and thorough. Helped me come up with a solution for the condensate line on our AC mini-split. He's very polite and professional and when we needed a little adjustment, he came back to fix. I recommend P.E.HVAC and would hire them again. read more

We were able to get ahold of Roberto best on instagram and he was able to come fix our AC problem the same day. He was very informative and knowledgeable regarding our AC. He gave us great tips on how to clean it and where to get a great deal on air filters. Thank you so much Roberto and P.E. HVAC! read more

The AC in my parents house stopped working, so i called Roberto to see if he can help us fix the issue after my brother had recommended him. He was very courteous, and knowledgeable. He knew what the issue was right away and fixed the AC in 1 day. What i also appreciated was the fact that he took the time to explain to us how to better use the AC and what we can do to help it work more efficiently such as using a better filter so the motor isn't straining so much thus helping to lower our Edison bill. read more

PEHVAC was amazing. I called them during this current heatwave expecting them to give me an appointment but they responded quickly and gave me a brand new system. The price was amazing and their workmanship was awesome. They were clean and polite. I recommend this company 100%. If you ever need. HVAC assistance do not hesitate to call them. read more

I requested a quote to have some repair work done on my moms ancient wall heater. Roberto was efficient in getting back to me in a timely manner. He gave me a quote for the original repair and also gave me an option to repair/refurb my heater so it was more like a new heater and at a reasonable cost. Roberto was very professional and did a thorough job;taking all the pieces of the wall heater out and cleaning it of cob webs and who knows what else that was lurking inside. Lol. He spent maybe an hour or so on the repair and explained to me exactly what he did and also gave me some bonus information on heating/gas safety. And always with a smile on his face ! Needless to say, i was a happy and satisfied customer and I'll be sure to use them again in the future for my HVAC needs! Give them a call! read more

Called Robert from PEHVAC to look at my A/C unit because it wasn't working. He found the issue right away and corrected it. In addition he also found some internal condensate hoses that were chewed up by rodents and replaced them with a factory hose kit he had on hand. Thank God he went the extra mile to inspect the unit internally or else I would have had a water leaking from my celling this summer. I would highly recommend PEHVAC they know what they are doing. read more

So a few months ago, our *good* microwave died randomly. We'd actually had an over-the-range microwave that came with our condo, that we basically never used because it *sucked*, so we just used my wife's standalone microwave, until it broke a few months ago. For various reasons that aren't important, it took a while to find a replacement over-the-range microwave that was compatible with our space, so it finally arrived, just before COVID-19 went from a worry out on the horizon to... not. So now we had a microwave in need of installation, and I told my wife, we really need to get it installed while we still can (this was a couple weeks ago), unless we want to be stuck with a crummy 30-year-old slow-as-all-frack microwave for another month. She did some research, and these guys seemed the best, so we went with them, especially when they said they could be there in 45 minutes(!). It was actually more like an hour minutes, but seriously, I'm not going to complain. (Especially since it sounded like most of the delay was just the guy finding parking downtown - I'd forgotten it'd be even harder with everyone stuck at home.) They weren't the cheapest (they charged $300 for the microwave install - one of the less reputable-looking companies my wife talked to only asked for $200, but they just didn't sound as *competent* as PE HVAC), but we really liked how prompt the guy was, how friendly he was, and especially, how he didn't just do the work silently, he let us know everything he was doing, and why. And given how long the installation took, the price was totally reasonable to get everything done by a clear professional. Nice to finally have a *good* microwave over the range in our unit! He was even happy to remove and dispose of the old microwave for us. read more

Roberto and Jose called, said they were going to the warehouse for a thermostat and then would be here in about an hour. They showed up just as they promised. They troubleshooted one of the apartment units on the roof, figured out the problem, fixed it, then put a new thermostat in another apartment, all works good. They explained everything very well, totally bilingual, professional. I will call them whenever we have a problem. Thanks, Mark read more

Contracted P.E. HVAC and Roberto to remove an old floor furnace that's never been used since we moved into our house well over 18 years ago. While it took us a really long time to finally decide to remove it, it took Roberto and his crew less than 30 minutes to remove. Quick, fast and clean removal. These guys pay attention to detail and are the type of people to look out for and care for your home while performing their work. Roberto and I also discussed other work to be done around the house. He's extremely knowledgeable in his craft and gives you straight to the point opinions on what should/shouldn't be done. Never tried to upsell me on any of the other work we discussed - VERY HONEST. I'm glad I found P.E. HVAC and Roberto as I'll be using them moving forward for our other projects. Thank you guys! read more

Roberto was amazing! Very high quality work and explained thoroughly the work he completed for me. I initially called him to install my new microwave above my range, to do so he had to remove the existing hood. While there he noticed I needed the water hooked up to my new refrigerator so I could access filtered water and ice. He let me know he could go ahead and take care of that as well while he was there. Grateful he knocked out two projects for me! His work ethic is great and you can tell he's passionate about what he does. I highly recommend his services and will be referring family and friends to him in the future. read more

We had a leak in the ceiling of our kitchen. When our A/C was on, the dripping would start. Robert discovered that the condensation drainage pipe was not only clogged, the house builders had made holes in the pipe when installing a closet shelf. So the drainage pipe would back up and leak through the holes, and come down the ceiling. Robert replaced the pipe and cleared out the clog. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Most of all, very fair in price. I would definitely call him back for any HVAC services. read more

Roberto was a great help and provided quality service to help get my AC unit up and running. I had a unit that needed a new condensing fan motor replaced and he also gave my unit a deep acid bath. Been having a problem with a sewage smell, coming from my old air conditioner off and on. Tried a plumber with no luck finding the root of the problem. Called both the city & county to clean out the main drains close to my home , again no luck. Called Roberto from P.E. Hvac and bingo he solved my problem! Thanks to Roberto for taking the time to really inspect my old unit, and find the issue. This guy is the real deal. He's very reliable and trustworthy. Can't wait to purchase a new system with you once we remodel our home. Thanks again Roberto, now because of you our summer will be a lot cooler! read more

I can't express how grateful I am for this company. Robert was able to help me get my old and extinct floor heater converted into a working wall heater during the cold season spell we had. He was so professional and even explained how to work the new controls he installed. I couldn't be any more pleased with his work. His quotes were very good and affordable and he worked with our schedule. You can't go wrong with this man. He is a pro and the quality of his results speaks for itself. read more

My wife and I moved into our new home and we needed an exhaust fan for our bathroom. I reached out to several companies but no one seemed to have time and or the prices were outrageous. So finally I reached out to robert at P.E. HVAC and he gave me a fair price so I hired him to do the job. And although he was very busy that week and wasn't able to come out until the following week it was the worth the wait, robert and his partner acosta did an excellent job. They were both very professional and did very clean work. I highly recommend Robert and his team, and I will definitely be calling them back for any HVAC problems that i come across in the future. Thanks again Robert and Acosta. read more

We've had Roberto over 3 times this year. First he gave a detailed free inspection of our heating and cooling units. Made some recommendations on the filters that made a huge difference! Since then we hired him to clean and service our outdoor AC unit and he just finished installing two attic fans to help keep out the hot summer air. He's been professional and on time and his prices are fair for the quality of work. I recommend you give him a call or shoot him a message on Yelp - he's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does! read more

Like numerous others, I am giving P.E.HVAC a 5-star review. I needed to replace my furnace, blower, and AC units. After getting proposals, I decided to go with P.E.HVAC - not the cheapest - but I trusted they would give me the same quality service they had provided to so many others on Yelp. Without going into all the details, I couldn't be more pleased with Roberto and Jose Miguel's work. These guys are true craftsmen. They explained everything they did and answered all of my questions. I found P.E. HVAC on Yelp. I originally called to get the heater repaired in our office building. Robert came out that same day and got it working for us. He was so knowledgeable and friendly that I hired him to come back out and take care of the maintenance on all six of our HVAC units. He was kind enough to do the job on a Saturday so as not to disrupt our business hours during the week. He and his assistant were professional, thorough and very communicative. read more

Called for ac diagnostic, Robert shows me how all the duct work was done wrong and cheap. Apparently when the house was being renovated for a quick flip they did all the Mickey Mouse work. I got a fair and reasonable price quote from Robert and decided to do the work with P.E.HVAC. All the AC work was done in two days. Was surprises with the quality and good attitude work ethic that Robert and his crew have. Also I didn't think they were going to fit in my attic since it's a very small and tight space but they got it done. Over all was very satisfied with the work that was done and will be calling them for my next project. I'd recommend them to anyone that's looking for for work and don't want to be scammed call Robert with P.E.HVAC they'll take good care of any job u need. read more

This review is way overdue! About a month ago, we had some services done by Roberto. My husband and I have never met anyone so passionate about what they do. That's a good thing! We love giving business to small businesses who focus on their service and craft. We called Roberto because we wanted him to check our AC evaporator and condenser to make sure it was working properly. Just the usual maintenance check up. By the way, he had a quick response time. When he came and checked everything out, he told us every single thing we needed to know. For some people, it may seem like a lot of information so it can feel overwhelming at first. But for those who don't understand this field don't be taken back. Roberto is detailed and will explain everything to you. He doesn't try to sell you something that you don't need. He just wants you to be aware of what kind of system you have and how you can get it to be as efficient as possible. At the end of the day, you're the decision maker and you determine what you want to spend. Roberto will not pressure you like some people do. Saying you need this or that. He is totally trustworthy. Roberto ended up doing a 4-point inspection and added refrigerant for a great price. He also changed our filter and ohhh what a big difference. We were using really thick ones and it was restricting the air from going thing. On a another day, Roberto installed an attic fan. He had someone assist him and they both did a nice clean job. Getting an attic fan was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Our master bedroom gets hit with about 10 hours of sunlight so it would always stay warm inside even with the AC on. Now that we installed the attic fan, the room stays super cool. Actually the whole house stays really cool. As a matter of fact, at times it now gets too cold we have to raise the temperature. The irony! All in all, my husband and I are very pleased with the service. We are happy that we now have a contact for AC, electrical, and plumbing. Great service and great price. Thank you Roberto for your professionalism and commitment to your profession. read more

Super, super happy with these guys. Robert came in earlier today to fix our air conditioning, and we were all blown away by how professional and chill he was. We initially called him over just to repair our thermostat, but it turns out our entire circuit board was fried, along with a ton of other electrical issues. Even though he ended up going home a lot later than expected, he stayed extremely patient and friendly throughout the day, and took the time to explain what he was doing and how we could avoid these problems from coming up in the future. I didn't understand half of it, so either I really learned nothing from my circuits class or this guy really knows his wires. read more

Roberto worked for me for many years he always performed to the highest level of workmanship

My in-laws needed work done for their HVAC system and we contracted Roberto and his team. My in-laws are currently doing some renovations around the house, and what we've found is that some professionals are just way better than others. Good and honest work seems to be really hard to come by these days. Roberto was one of the best ones we've had. He was professional, honest, and knowledgeable. He worked diligently so that our older unit could run efficiently at a very competitive and fair cost. He also communicated the process all throughout and explained what would work for my in-law's budget. He didn't try to upsell and take advantage of them. As a matter of fact, Roberto saw an issue with one of the toilets in our house and fixed it for free to boot! I would definitely recommend Roberto and his team. 10/10. read more

Robert and the guys did a great job. I have two AC units, both at the end of their life cycles. He did not push me to get new units; instead he was able to prolong the life of both units for another summer or two. One unit; he fixed the capacitor and added refrigerant. That has been working great. Wife and I are freezing nicely during this heatwave. A couple weeks later, my other unit was not working. He added refrigerant and while on the job; my thermostat coincidentally died due to a bad motherboard that had years of water damage. He had an extra and swapped it out no charge since it occurred on his watch. Very reasonable pricing and and a man with good character. Has a great crew too. Thanks guys. read more

P.E. HVAC did a wonderful job replacing my old over-the-range microwave with a newly purchased one. Roberto was very polite in both text correspondence and in person. Their quote wasn't the lowest, but I decided to go with P.E HVAC because unlike other companies, Roberto actually explained that he needed more details in order to make an informed eatimate. This was very important to me, as my building is not new and I don't have a an external duct for the microwave to vent externally. Roberto patiently and professionally explained my options regarding the venting, and even sent pics of a recent installation that was similar. When we were confident enough to schedule, he was able to give me a very quick appointment (same day!). Even better, he removed an extra layer of tile from my backsplash to ensure the microwave was properly installed. This saved me some money, and as I was actually looking at contracting someone else to remove the whole backsplash beforehand to ensure that the installation job could be done properly. This was money well spent and I am very satisfied with the results. We're actually now eyeing some dryer duct work that may need to be done, with P.E. HVAC in mind. read more
