The key here is to have patience enjoy the company, especially during graduations and promotions. The location is a family owned business, they are knowledgeable, helpful and extremely kind. It can get hectic, but just be chill , because your things will be done properly and when you need it to be. The owner is the sweetest and so is his family. The best place for uniform alterations. Period. The quality here is superior to anywhere else. They are rarely out of stock for collar brass or patches. They have the WORST customer service ever in history. They only prioritize police officers not correction officers. The way they speak to you after you spend your money is disgusting and I don't wish for anyone to go through with what I went through. They need to be taken off the map. Nice little shop with fair prices. They have a nice selection of uniforms, including Blauer items, and they do custom tailoring on site. They are pretty busy sometimes, so you have the option of picking up your tailored clothing at a later date, but they do have a fast turnaround time. However, if you catch them at a slower day, I'm sure you can pick up tailored items on the same day with a bit of a wait. The staff are very personable and friendly. It is located next to a precinct, so it's difficult finding parking on the block of the shop. I typically find parking around the block. read more

I've been coming to P & S for about 5 years now. I had heard horror stories about other cop shops who never gave their customers their reefer coats after paying over $400 for their Class A uniforms. However, P&S had everything ready, in time for graduation and at a great price (and quality). Long since then, I often come to buy new duty shirts and pants, (Blauer) which is always in stock. They have various duty jackets from the 3/4 jacket to the bomber style. Tailoring is done on scene and very quickly. My pants, shirts and anything I've needed sewn on (longevity stripes) were done before I even left the store. All the employees are very helpful and friendly. The shop is authorized by the Department and conveniently located next to the 106 Precinct. I would highly recommend them. read more

This place as everyone said has amazing customer service and that is hands down. I went to another place to get my Class A uniform done for graduation and they did a shit job with it seriously. They measured me and "pretended" that they were going to tailor the outfit to me, however when they called me to pick up my uniform, it was ALL MEN's size/wear. the sleeves sagged down, the "blouse" was like wearing a potato bag, and don't get me started with the pants. They too were MENS pants that were hiked so high, I could tuck my bullet proof vest over it. it was horrendous! I went there five times to get it re-tailored and each time they always find a way to mess it up even more. I finally got fed up and brought the entire shit show to P&S to hopefully fix it or salvage it since I was stressing over this AND trimester exam around the corner, I had no time for BS. P&S took a look at it and told me straight up that my outfit wouldn't have passed inspection due to the fact that the outfit was made out of TWO completely different fabrics and TWO different colors! I was livid to tell you the least. They told me that the store I went to had a history of doing this to recruits. Just my luck! they told me how to get my refund back and who to contact without me needing to run around to figure it out myself. needless to say, I am currently waiting for my refund from the terrible store, P&S has since made my Class A in record time, within a WEEK of me placing the order (tailored to ME! I couldn't begin to tell you how happy I was when it fit so perfectly!) and they were $50 cheaper then that crap store I went to. I have found a new love and new home to purchasing my uniform needs. they have my size and they have women's wear. I wouldn't dream of going to another store now since finding them, they are my #1 go to store from now on. They know what they are doing! I cannot lie, the Blauer shirts sold their are impressive (not the best I have seen, but close enough) as for their service and most other items watch out. The Blauer boots (super boots) they sold me are pure garbage and cannot even withstand 6 months of regular patrol. When purchasing anything, please check the bag, I had a "Bait and switch occasion with them". Please note after a chargeback and some dialogue with their "CEO" it is apparent that customer service is a concept they do not believe in. The "CEO" was very nasty, and went so far as to threaten to take legal action if I wrote this post: "As we have entered a state where emotions have become the preferred judge in the situation, based upon your threats of public defamation, we will be forced to forward the details of this situation to the proper authorities in your region (upon the results of your impending actions)."- Actual excerpt from the email. When I purchased some shirts from the store they were impressive, but I did not leave until the cashier scolded me about coming in before they close to purchase anything. This place is by far the worst uniform store I have ever been to. The quality of their products are nothing but cheap. My shirts were custom tailored and the fit was terrible. My shirt ripped within the week, but the worst part of this was the customer service. I understand if there is some sort of a defect in a product. There are a lot of "buff shops" out there with all the standard stuff you need for work, but there's more only one place I know that has better options for all the equipment and uniform wear needed. My issue with this place is that there are so many goodies that make the job easier that I have to limit how long I stay in the shop. I also do not know a uniform supplier with talented on the spot tailors who would not let me leave until each piece of my uniform looks professional and fits perfect... family owned, great service, and lots of toys for the job... what more can you ask for? read more
