I told her I needed help looking for a party dress and the woman there gave me a book to look from. She told me most dresses in the book are around $395/$400 and that I wouldn't be able to afford it. I didn't even tell her my budget yet! Then I told her it was for my wedding party and she said "Who's wedding, your's?! You look like your 14 years old." And laughed. I couldn't believe how they treated their customers, and I hope they see this and stop what they're doing, get some manners, and just maybe then they could get some business.

This business is also known aba D & P Momo Inc. It is becoming harder and harder to find and attain a women's accessory shop since Claire's is becoming less of a presence and their stock and inventory has significantly changed to become less of a women's accessory shop with stupid animated plush toys, fancy water bottles, backpacks, hats, and scarves. Momo Accessories is fully stocked with rhinestone hair clips, barrette clips, jewelry, ponytail holders, earrings, hats, and ankle chains. The business owner surely used every inch of retail space to place products as I was browsing the racks/shelves in hopes for a set of simple rhinestone hair clips and bumping into another customer. I am extremely elated that my ears are NOT pierced. Not my style. Not for everyone. To each their own. Yes, I am a girly girl at heart and no one can remove this from within me. I purchased two matching rhinestone ponytail holders to fix my hair in two pigtails coordinating my clothes. Price is very reasonable as it was $1.99 each for clearance sale. Customer service is attentive as I was provided with a small tray as a shopping basket which makes sense due to their product size. The sales receipt states "D&P Momo Inc." My hope is still unfulfilled with a long standing void to seek and attain one set of simple single circle rhinestone hair clips to hold my very thick hair.

BUYERS BEWARE: they only accept returns within a narrow 7-day window, you MUST have the original receipt--NO EXCEPTIONS, and there are absolutely NO REFUNDS!!--just store credit. This policy is so outdated. This further substantiates just how greedy they are!! To make matters worse, they don't even have fitting rooms, so you have to hope things fit or change in your car. I don't live nearby, so this was a hassle. Returning items is another nightmare: you're treated with suspicion, checked at the front door, and asked to leave your bags by security. They don't even give you a bag to put returned items in, treating you like a criminal for returning items because they don't fit. The clothes are cheaply made and tore when I tried them on. And to top it off, they have two stores that apparently don't communicate, so each one pushes you to the other, "HOT TOPIC" for exchanges, because one store doesn't carry much of my size when I attempted to exchange items, they have little inventory in one store, and more inventory in the other. This was hands down the worst shopping experience I've ever had in my life they need to stop being so darn greedy & nasty!! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK because some of the clothes may be cute but prices are jacked up and the quality is worse than fashionova... good luck, with returns and having to travel to both stores to get your credit back and they will give you a major hassle if the item was brought in the other store to get credit causing you to be a human YO-YO traveling back and forth between their stores. Jackson Heights has a lot of options for inexpensive clothing, but quality can be hit or miss and sizes tend to run on the smaller side. A lot of the stores on Roosevelt also tend to sell items like tight pants, crop tops, and tube top dresses which are cute but don't fit me well because of my height and style. Moda had so many options for beautiful, well-made, and reasonably priced clothing. I bought two dresses and three shirts for what might be the price of one or two items at a different store. I wanted clothes that were loose for comfort and dresses that were long enough that I could wear without shorts underneath, and I found both of those things!  It also seems like they have good options for customers who dress modestly and different designs depending on your comfort level (plenty of items with long sleeves/long bottoms and loose fabric or tops that are still loose but have quarter sleeves, etc). Overall very happy with my purchases and can't wait to come back!
