I came across this place and immediately contacted them via number on the website and was quickly contacted back within minutes even with a possible offer price (because of course they need to see it in person and check the quality, authenticity and etc.). We set a time and I came to the store, already a line out the door , which tells me it's a great place or it would be empty lol so when it was my turn I came and was professionally greeted by the owner and showed him the items and got a quote right away. My first impression of the store was that it is beautiful and high quality! I can tell they only buy and sell the best designer quality items. They always say first impressions are everything and that is 1000% true when it comes to this place from the ambience, the well dressed owner, beautiful interior design, and beautiful quality pieces from sneakers, bags, wallet, clothing & more. I said no i'm okay after already helping myself on my own, not only did she stay staring for a good while, she lowered her voice and started talking about me with the customers and employees all looking at me like some weirdo. Honestly this will be the last time I'm stepping foot in such uncomfortable place, I don't understand how these people even got a job at this place, with no training at all. No hospitality, just straight up making people feel bad. I needed to buy a gift card as I was looking at the gif cards the cashier comes over and says you need an ID to buy those which I found odd since I had not even said how I was paying, she continues to tell me I need an ID, Finally I pull out my ID and my Carters Credit Card and AFTER I swiped my card she said no you can't use the Carters card.. I found that odd.. So I walked out the store and I called the 800 number. Where it was stated to me that YES I can buy a gift card with my credit card and NO I don't need to show ID..I then proceeded to go back to the store to double check that i wasn't charged for the gift card since I had swiped my card. The cashier said well when you get your statement you will see if you got charge.. I told her absolutely not she was going to check right there and right now and I also informed them at that moment that was still on the phone with 800 and the tone changed quickl. I ended up going to another Carters with again ID and Card in hand and they sold me the gift card. Found some cute shirts and the owner told me I could not try on shirts and when I asked him why he said because it won't fit me, and he does not carry my size. What kind of place tells their customer not to try on clothes because "he knows his clothes, and it won't fit me" this place is garbage no wonder we were the only two people in there.
