Told him about the kitchen being hot when I cooked (I love to cook and do it daily), Jason just said Hmmm. When they came to install it, the went up into the attic with some ducting pieces. I was skeptical, as we didn't really talk about it...I'll be, the sucker is pushing more air through there. Not perfect, but it REALLY helped a good bit. Cleaning up after a job (after 2 decades of working for GE myself) is a pet peeve of mine. These guys cleaned up their own mess as well as other stuff they weren't responsible for...NO KIDDING. I cant speak for the long term, but can tell you that these are my guys for the foreseeable future. NOTE: I got a lot of quotes. 8 of them were a $1000-$1500 higher than what I ended up paying (3 were weirdly less...Fly-by-night looking guys providing hand written notes as quotes...avoid them. Likely stolen units off construction sites) ONE LAST THING: Don't listen to that fool who hasn't actually done any business with ACS but gave them a one star for a traffic incident. What a pile. Kiewanna S. is not only from out of town but out of state. Go leave your opinions where you live...Totally unfair to ding a companies reputation 'cause you're having a bad hair day driving through town.

I have been using them…read morefor a while now and felt I needed to point out a few above and beyond services I have experienced. First, the technicians are always so nice, very knowledgeable and never make me feel like they are trying to sell me a service or equipment I don't really need. I have been a Realtor for almost 15 years and have dealt with many vendors in the HVAC industry. Some have been good, some have been not so good. With Comfort Control, I have had techs here late at night, on weekends (Sunday too) and have never had to wait long for service. I always feel like they are honest and do what needs to be done at a fair price. That is very important to me. Second, I have referred them to a few of my clients and I have never had any of them express anything except complete satisfaction. Definitely not the norm but a satisfying reaction for me since I sent them:-) I had a client who had her air stop working in one of the hottest days of the year. She was watching her 10 week old grandson and was panicked. She texted me and I gave her their number. Later that day she called me to thank me for the referral and they got someone out there pretty quickly who was able to fix the problem at a reasonable cost (on a weekend) She continues to use them when needed and for maintenance. Time and time again I get thank you messages from people and clients who I have sent to them. They meet with several companies and end up truly feel most comfortable with them. So with that kind of track record and my personal positive experiences, I felt the need to share. So many people are willing to take the time to write bad reviews about companies. I wanted to take the time to share my positive experiences and say thank you to Comfort Control for stellar service!

    R Tillery was a pleasant surprise! I had been getting the runaround from a warranty company who…read moresent an incompetent vendor out to fix our A/C repairs recently. I made an appointment on a Friday through my warranty company and the service vendor they assigned couldn't come until the following Tuesday. August in Georgia is no joke. The vendor ended up not fixing anything on Tuesday, but added 2lbs of freon and left. No inspection, didn't check the furnace, didn't come in to check the vents, nothing. So on Wednesday, once the A/C went out again I followed up and made an another appointment, this time we were set for for Friday. The second tech the vendor sent tested the freon and saw that it was empty even though they had just added 2lbs 3 days ago. So the second tech did some test and started packing up. I asked what time he'd come back so that I could be home and he indicated the test takes 48-72 hours to determine where the leak is. I'm not a HVAC professional, but that sounded odd. Once the second tech left without attempting to fix anything, I started calling around and found R Tilery's website. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Ray himself picked up and said he could come later that afternoon. Wow, same day service, what a novel idea. You'd think if I told the vendor my warranty company used that other company's can make same day appointments it would make their heads explode. Ray showed up a few hours later, took the A/C unit apart quickly and inspected the inside and found oil in the bottom of the unit indicating a leak. He tested some gas in the line and we could hear the gas leaking from the unit. So it took Ray all of 15 minutes to do what two different techs could not do in two separate visits. Ray was great, I should have called him first. Don't be like me, call ray first. We will be calling him again if we are ever in need. Thanks Ray!

    Bill was very professional and courteous when he sold and installed my HVAC unit several years ago…read more(8). However, something has changed and my last 3 experiences with A-1 have been very disappointing. I brushed the first one off as he was just having a bad day, the 2nd one as possibly a bad day but I was going to address it when he came out to do the winter check up. During the 1st experience back in June I brought up my concern that the thermostat needed to be replaced. It wasn't replaced when the new system was installed because the wrong one was shipped and I'd started having issues where it wasn't holding the set reading - I might have it set at 75, but walk in to a hot room only to find that the actual temperature was showing 89. We decided since this wasn't a daily or even weekly occurrence we would wait for the winter maintenance check. When I called to schedule that he didn't recall anything from the June visit, instead he was patronizing (my option) and basically told me that I wasn't qualified to determine if a new thermostat was needed (then why did he agree that we'd replace it back in June???). After discussing it for a few minutes the appointment was scheduled. Day of the appointment he called me again and said the work order indicated he should bring a thermostat (yes, that was what we'd discussed when I made the appointment). His response was "Lady there are thousands of models and I don't know which one you would need". Yes, he actually said lady - not my name which he clearly knew since it was on the work order, not even ma'am. Maybe I was already on the defense but I didn't appreciate that or his tone. Bottom line, I said never mind, he hung up on me and that was the last I heard from him. I will find me another company to maintain my HVAC unit and I don't recommend A-1. I can only hope that it was something he had against me personally rather than this is the way he treats everyone.

    Friday night at 7pm saved my ass. Recommend hands down. He was so kind and responsive. I have…read morean Airbnb that lost a/c. He went over and fixes the issue when he should have been out to dinner! I so appreciate people like this who go so far out of the way to help.
