I have been having them service my 2009 Camry for three years. I have never had a problem and never been overcharged. They don't try to talk me into anything. I never have the coupon with me, but they always give me the coupon price. They offer pick up and drop off if its going to take a lot of time. They are very polite and usually quite prompt on service. I've never had a problem with them and I am in the mechanics target group...female over 60. read more

I went for an inspection and told them that I lived in Putnam County and that it is a lower rate because it does not require the same emissions test as Westchester. And they just lied to my face and said that the same test is required state-wide. It's clearly on the dmv website that Putnam county does not require the more expensive OBD II test. They have the right to charge the Westchester price but they should have just told me that. Instead I felt ganged up on while three different men attempted to prove a lie true. A fact is a fact and if they act like over something provable then what else are they trying to sell with that type of approach. They also recommended I get an alignment which I did and they left the low tire pressure light on. I had to put air in my tire right after I left the mechanics. read more

Brought my 02 grand cherokee in for inspection. After being jerked around for 2 days they passed inspection. The "professional mechanic" sliced my steering wheel with the razor blade they use to scrape the old inspection sticker off. I didn't notice until i was about 1 mile down rt. 6. At that point I called ozzy. He told me to bring the jeep back so he could check it out. I convinced my self to cut my losses, and I never went back. When i had first got back into my car I did notice all my radio station and all seat adjustments had been changed. I didn't really like that. Also when waiting in waiting room for 2 hours i did notice a lot of waisted time among staff. Im not going to waist my time here any more, I now have a good reminder on my steering wheel to keep me far away from ozzys auto car circus!!! read more

I WILL NEVER GO BACK . Brought my car in for an inspection...failed said inspection for damage to my Rack and Pinion assembly (steering). Was told this would be a $3,000 repair and I was completely shocked. In an attempt to go through insurance I took my car to an alternate location for them to evaluate. 2 and I repeat 2 MASTER MECHANICS at the 2nd location went over the car and found NO ISSUES with my rack and pinion assembly. Now because I trusted Ozzy's and wanted to believe them I took it to yet another location to get a third opinion and what do you know there is no issue whatsoever with my rack and pinion assembly. Mind you...I have been giving Ozzy's my business for years and I trusted them. I feel taken advantage of and ripped off. How dare they try and take my money doing a 3 thousand dollar repair that was unnecessary. Luckily I was smart enough the get 2 additional evaluations but others should be aware that Ozzy's participates in shady business like this. Shame on you Ozzy's for trying to take money from a loyal client. read more

My 88 year old dad, moving slowly and a bit over medicated after a few strokes, drops the car off in the morning (Subaru with 60,000 miles) and asked for basic winterizing service - coolant flush, yada yada. I show up with my dad to pick up the car and see that the bill is $1500! I asked why and they said they called my dad to get approval. They claimed they replaced timing belt, fuel pump, and all kinds of other BS that a Subaru with 60,000 miles did NOT need. When I asked repeatedly why it had to be done, they just kept repeating that they called to get approval, never once explaining WHY all the work had to be done. This was clearly a predatory effort to take advantage of an elderly man who simply doesn't know any better. Their body language and lack of eye contact indicated that they weren't expecting the old guy's son showing up. I find that the low-life tactics these kind of service/discount tire centers use are quite common and are actually encouraged by management, aka: Mavis discount tire in Mt. Kisco. Ozzy's Auto Clinic is THE best! My husband and I stumbled upon Ozzy's when we moved to Cortlandt and I am glad we did. The entire staff from the front desk to the technicians and mechanics are professionals in every sense of the word. The really care about their clients and client satisfaction. They even gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car so I didn't have to walk. They always communicate with me before doing any work and only do what is necessary. Never any hidden costs or fees - everything is explained up front. Plus they are just plain nice people. I always wondered why until I happened to meet the Bossman himself, Ozzy. He came out to help me when I got stuck on Route 6 (something he didn't have to do at close to 6pm on a Thursday night). I asked him how he found such great employees and he told me he doesn't know how it happens. But I know how, when you are a genuinely nice guy, who cares about people, good fortune will always follow you. The sense of service starts at the top with Ozzy and flows all the way down throughout the company. I love Ozzy's Auto Clinic! Keep up the great work guys!! read more

The worst place to bring a vehicle. My son lives in Peekskill and Ozzy's is close and convenient. First time car went to them they diagnosed it altogether incorrectly and added on repairs the vehicle did not need. I work at a dealership in the service department so I called them. I told them what was wrong with the car and he disagreed with me. I let him do one small repair just to prove he was wrong. I asked for a call back when done and never got a return call. Same problem my son brought vehicle in for was still wrong when he picked up the vehicle. I got the car to my dealership in New Jersey and fixed it with what I told him over the phone.The last straw was when vehicle was brought in for inspection and was told Rack and Pinion was bad. I see a pattern here after reading all of the other complaints. Was given an oral estimate of $1000 to fix and once again nothing they said was wrong was wrong with the car. They didn't even do the oil change correctly. My shop had to reset tire pressure, reset oil life reading and install reminder sticker in the window. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS RIP OFF ARTIST. AFTER THE SECOND TIME WE ARE DONE WITH THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR BUT I HAD TO GIVE THEM THAT TO POST THIS.I WILL be contacting the NY division of motor vehicles and Better Business Bureau about their inspection practices. read more
