The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony overlooking the pool area and stream. This is not the closest thing to the strip but not that far either. I found a barbecue place just minutes away called Danna's which is very hometown and where the locals go, but a definite Branson must! We enjoyed the in-room two person hotel tub and the spaciousness of the larger room. We found there was normally someone waiting when the elevator door opened and that could be a challenge for the in season time. The staff was very helpful and even kept a guitar for us so we could check out and still enjoy a morning music show before heading back home to the STL metro area. I would go 5* but not a huge vacation crowd fan and this place will be jammed in season. So go in the less popular times and enjoy a very high quality stay!

No matter what is being reviewed. The Taj Mahal probably has one 1 star rating..... We have stayed here perhaps 4 or 5x thru the years & it is a lovely place. Lovely. Everything worked fine. Unit clean & spacious. People couldn't be more helpful or kind. Wonderful location-- off highway down a country road so when you get there it is quiet & all looks rural. Yet when you come back to highway, Table Rock Lake State Park is right across the street and State Park Marina adjacent. How good can it get? Walks & picnics possible right off this lake so close by. Can have a simple lunch on the marina by the boats right nearby. Trophy Run Resort swimming pool in lovely location surrounded by now mature trees. Units have screened in porches & decks with grills.Fishing is possible right on Trophy Run site. To us it is a special place to stay--not far from the shows & restaurants but in quiet, pastoral location with well appointed units & responsive, caring staff. And then we booked and stayed -- the owners' personal touches made us feel very confident in our choice. We had such direct control of the temperature in our room, we slept amazingly (increasingly a rare thing in big-brand hotels). It was a quick trip and things being not quite right could have derailed us. But everything at Homestead was fantastic. They added to our trip being a great experience.

I called got a very friendly southern gentleman on the other end Andy, who is also the owner. I was at ease after speaking with him and booked the cabin. My wife and I arrived to a quite little town just a mile or 2 from branson landing, it is very close yet felt miles away, beautiful cabins and scenery and we'll Andy is about one of the nicest fellows I've met. Andy and his dogs greet you and you do the paper work right there at his home office and he will share all the cool spots to go that aren't the tourist crap. The cabins are amazing, comfortable, clean, just awsome. So very happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back. Great job Andy, and thank you for the memories.

The high traffic areas needed some serious cleaning. The master bed was all caved in and broken. Just a really bad experience. My kids knees were visibly dirty from just crawling around on the floors like toddlers do. If this is what's considered clean, then I would not recommend these cabins. It was pretty gross.

It's secluded and peaceful, but only a short scenic drive to get into town! They even worked with us to reschedule our trip after the original plans got snowed out - with no extra fees! I don't have a single bad thing to say, and it was a wonderful experience! Once you stay here, and hotel room will never suffice. We will definitely be back!!!

Upon entry into the simple and cozy lobby, Tom greeted me immediately with a smile. Check-in was quick and easy. He was very friendly and amicable. Thank you for the warm welcome and great service! This relaxed resort has multiple buildings. There are external stairs, but no elevators. Free self-parking. Seasonal outdoor pool, year-round hot tubs, fitness center, basketball & tennis courts, and game room are primary amenities available for guest use only. We had a one bedroom unit plus a pull down murphy bed in the living room. Room was clean and organized. Carpet was a bit dark and could use a wash. Kitchen was small, but fully equipped with kitchen essentials and dishwashing detergents. Bathroom had complimentary bottles of shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and lotion for our use. Always nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. There was a fireplace. Small patio with table and chairs. Overlook from the patio was of vibrant green trees... not much of a view. This will be our only visit at this resort since we don't live nearby. We only added this stay as part of our trip because we were in MO. Grateful to have stayed here. I got to check off one more WM resort on my WM resort adventures list. Highly recommend for anyone who loves vacationing in MO. Enjoy your WM stay! This was alarming and completely unacceptable. We immediately contacted the help desk around 11:30 p.m. to report the issue. Unfortunately, we were told there was nothing they could do at that time and that a manager would be emailed. No alternative accommodations, inspection, or immediate assistance was offered. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to cut our trip short. We were staying with family and friends and had activities planned for another full day, all of which had to be canceled. This was especially frustrating and disappointing right before Christmas. A situation like this should be handled with urgency and care. The lack of response and support only made an already stressful situation worse. We expected much better from a resort of this reputation.

Just so happens that very debit card went missing the last day of my trip. fortunately I had already frozen and canceled said card. When I reached out to talk to someone to figure out what the charge was for, the first person i spoke to Maddie, stated she saw the charge and a signature that wasn't mine. She couldn't tell me who's it was though or what it was for. She also refused to tell me anything about the charge, except that it was someone from a different department that got my information from my file. I asked if its a charge to the room, shouldn't i have a check sheet to tell me extra charges. Maddie said yea we do that! to which i asked 'ok, why am I not getting that same treatment". This conversation lead no-where just that Manager would contact me. I thought either I lost my card in the room and the room service found it and tried to use it illegally or they are trying to charge my card for something I did not purchase (fraud). The Next morning a Manager named Ashley called and attempted to retract everything Maddie stated saying "she is new and doesn't know what she is talking about, there is not charge'. Even though i had proof in my email of a declined purchase on a frozen card from Surrey Vacation CO. She then tried to tell me that my card was never charged and refused to listen or except the evidence i was trying to show her. I asked to speak with the GM of the Hotel which I was told would call Friday and she/he has not called. At this point I have filed a police report for fraud on my debit card at their location. I can't believe they would try and cover something like this up instead of helping out a guest. It is ridiculous if they are covering for an employee that stole my information, it will come out and its also ridiculous if its just stupid room charge, why not just talk to me about that. I don't understand all the secrets. This kind of behavior makes me think they are hiding facts they don't ant to come out. Be careful staying here your information is up for anyone to get ahold.
