I have been bringing my mom to oxygen well for over 130 sessions and in that time my mother who had experienced a massive hemorrhagic stroke finally has found hope in recovery. She before the therapy did not have enough energy to get out of bed let alone out of the house, it was a huge challenge before to get her up and out of bed. She now has the energy to get up and out of bed every day, to go to hbot therapy, and to do other things like going to see her friends, going to the movies, the beach, out to eat, going for a stroll around the neighborhood, going to museums and the market to pick out groceries, as well as going to the farm to see the animals which she loves, she also has been able to go from being able to walk 20-30 feet or so to being able up walk 6-700 feet all at once with continuous improvement, as well as being able to move her right hand and arm which was previously paralyzed before therapy, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy in combination with the red light therapy truly has been a blessing, and had given her the hope and capability of making a full recovery, giving her the tools she needs to claw her way out of her wheel chair and back to independence. Today was my first time doing oxygen therapy as my surgeon requested that I do it to heal my scars. One of the best places I've ever been too, Steven and the female co-owner don't remember her name were very sweet. The lady spoke to me over the phone before my appointment and explained the whole thing to me before Steven got there and Steven was super sweet and attentive through out the whole experience, I'm a pretty anxious person and relayed that to them and they didn't fail to make me feel comfortable. Definitely feel much better health wise and will probably do more than the recommended treatment than what my surgeon said just because I feel like this therapy is really good for you. read more

They provided me with a walkie talkie, blankets, pillows, water, gum, and let me bring in some things for comfort as well. I had surgery scheduled on Sept 30, I called this location a day before (since Dr Gabbay recommended I go a day-before) surgery and they fit me in right away at their 7:30pm slot. Luckily someone had cancelled. They have 3 chambers. I didn't know what to expect but Steve and his colleague explained everything to me they assured me I could be in communication with them throughout. They gave me gum if my ears started popping and put on a movie. It was such a great experience and my surgery went so well. I went back the day after surgery and it really helped with the nausea. I came in for about5-6 sessions post surgery. Max was there everytime and made the process so much easier for me! I had to be gurneyd in and out and he abIe to do it very smoothly. I was recently referred to This hyperbaric center in Woodland Hills. I spoke to Steven over the phone and he was quite sweet, however once I got to the place I didn't feel comfortable with the two technicians that work there. It was my first experience and I felt rushed and misinformed as well as extremely tense and claustrophobic. I lasted a grand total of 12 min(which is only 5 minutes of actual oxygen) and " freaked out " according to the technician. Thus far it was traumatizing enough to feel trapped and ignored and then for them to charge me full price in order to leave was just the worst experience I have EVER had! read more

This was a very scary experience but not for the reasons some may think. I have a bit of a phobia about tight spaces so I was apprehensive when I first considered the idea and terrified upon walking in. However, all my fears where very much unfounded. The gent that was there, sorry his name escapes me at this moment, was a VERY laid back guy. He explained everything to me and after using the rest room, I was in the capsule and ready for "take off". Well that is what your ears feel like when he starts depressurization, a flight taking off. The whole experience was a little over an hour and I felt good when I climbed out. Not energetic or hyper, but overall good. During the session I could have my phone so I had music to alert me to my ears needing to pop. Next time I will be more relaxed and may sleep through the entire thing. I recommend if you are seeking overall better health. This is not a quick fix. read more

Not sure if it will be a complete cure. Time will tell. I am so grateful for the quality of service that I got at the LA Hyperbaric center. I had emergency surgery a week before I was supposed to go on a fishing trip with my son and I didn't want to disappoint him. I went for a different treatment that was only 1.3 times pressure and didn't feel like it did much. I went to LA Hyperbaric and felt SO much better the next day. Maybe it was because they go a full 2.2 times normal pressure. My wife even told me that I seemed stronger. After a second treatment I felt strong enough to go on a fishing/hiking trip to the high sierras, over 10,000 feet in elevation! I also want to mention the manager Steven. The first night I called them late and he had already left the office because they had no more appointments. He went back to the office, squeezed me in and let me stay the full time in the chamber. I think he kept the office open a little late just to make sure I got a full treatment. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I was blessed and impressed. I highly recommend them. BTW, the chambers are fairly roomy. I've had MRIs and they are much worse. I felt OK inside the chamber. read more
