Beverly Hills Hyperbaric Center offers extraordinary, medical-grade hyperbaric therapy in (very hard to find) glass chambers. My post surgical recovery was superior because of my sessions here. Inflammation was far less, healthy tissue recovered quickly, I experienced an increased range of motion faster than expected, and decreased any need for pain medication. If you have a chance to check them out, please do. If you have the honor of being helped by Gonzo, your entire day will be even better because of meeting him. BH Hyperbaric is a godsend! Referred almost 20 years ago by a neigbor who swore that BHH restored her quality of life after a ski accident, I gave it a try. Constant pain throughout my body from chemical exposures in the workplace had kept me from most activities and was only getting worse . After 5 one hour sessions I had significant pain reduction and after 11 sessions I was able to go on a vacation ! The results were nothing short of miraculous and I completed a series of 40 sessions with great results. Over the past years since, I've returned whenever the hint of an illness arose; from sciatica to double pneumonia , the treatments always helped me and in an expedited manner. When I had severe bruising after cataract surgery from the ocular injections, I got rid of it in days instead of weeks. I wanted the best healing result possible for my upcoming surgery and came here from my surgeon's recommendation. The place is extremely clean and Ed is absolutely great. Simply put, Ed is the best. I mentioned to Ed that my wife was experiencing extreme levels of lower back pain brought on by 3 failed back surgeries, and Ed offered up his new IR heat treatment facility, at no cost! He really cares about his patients and you notice it the minute you meet him. Regarding my HBOT recommended by my doctor to facilitate the healing process and reduce the bruising of septoplasty, I had one HBOT the morning of surgery, and another two days after surgery. When I walked in for my HBOT after surgery, Ed was amazed at the low amount of bruising I had on my face, albeit swelling was still evident. After the second HBOT, the swelling was greatly reduced. Ed treated me with ozone material he was not yet licensed to be practicing, without a doctors approval but was convinced it would help. My doctor believes it is the cause of a bone infection, though he will say otherwise. He was very unprofessional, as my appointments were constantly late or moved/cancelled the day of for celebrities. The more I got to know Ed (went to him just about 6 months) the more I realized he is always in conflicts with people and that was why he left his old job at the hospital. I am now at Santa Monica Hyperbaric centre and would recommend it way over this clinic. They are professional, on time, will not make a fuss if you are a couple minutes late (and still give you the right amount of time), set a timer and will not short you on time (like the latter clinic) and are overall just happier, easier to talk with people and well versed in what they do. The doctor is always in the clinic (2x/week) vs never saw the doctor even ONCE at BHHC. If I had known all this I would have never have spent over 5k at BHHC- save your money.
