I got scammed by some remote car repair service and long story short, the damage they left on my car was 10 times worse than the original scuff marks I had on my bumper. I was so devastated and was referred to Armen for the repair. Armen was very kind & compassionate and the high level of customer service I received was beyond compare. Between Armen, Arman, Jon and the other workers there, they were honestly a group of the kindest people I've ever met and were so amazing in every aspect of the progress. They did an impeccable job, leaving the car looking brand new and they did the repairs extremely fast. Their pricing was incredibly competitive and for the high quality work they did, I've seen other shops charge twice that amount! Well, here's my situation. The neighbor backs her car into mine and takes out the left bumper and taillight. They want me to take it to their family's body shop to take care of it without the insurance. So being that I don't know their shop from the next and there wasn't anything on Yelp about them, I thought I would take the car to a local shop for some advice. I live near auto body row on Oxnard and picked Oxnard Collision Center simply because they were closest. I met an employee named Sam in their office and explained my situation. He stopped what he was doing and came outside to take a look at the damage. He advised me on what I should make sure to watch out for and what to demand from the "family shop". Sure enough when I went to the "family shop" they tried to take shortcuts, but being armed with the knowledge from Sam, I was an informed consumer and demanded it be done right! Sam didn't know me, he knew from the start he wasn't going to get a business from me today, and yet he was more than willing to help me. RIP OFF. do not go here. They are just out to get your money. SHADY from the start. A tow truck that works for them picked me and my car up from the freeway because it just happened to be passing by when my car broke down. ...thats when the driver kept lying to me once I got in his tow truck. He tried to tell me that there was a GPS device that tracks his every move and that he could not drop me off anywhere else but the repair shop that he works for (Oxnard Auto Body) and that he would have to charge me if I did not take it to his shop. I tried telling him that I did not live around the area and that my insurance would pay for the tow to a shop near where I live, but he kept trying to tell me that there was no way he could drive down to drop my car off where I live and was only set on taking my car to his shop. After he kept lying to me, (probably assumed I was stupid or something) I convinced him to drop me off at my work which was down the street and then he took my car to Oxnard Auto Body. My insurance company had a local body shop that they contract with in my area to have my car towed from Oxnard Auto Body to their shop......Oxnard Auto Body only released it after the local body shop paid $500!!! My local body shop said that Oxnard Auto Body was a rip off and that they tried to add up bogus fees that all added up to $500! ...$500 for a tow 15 min away ...hmmmm????? Don't go here. I am glad I decided to go with a shop that my insurance contracts with because if these guys tried to rip me off that badly for the tow, I don't want to know what else they would have tried to rip me off with if I had gotten my car repaired there. Their business must be horrible and their reputation worse if they had to have the tow truck driver make up lies to convince me to take my car to his shop then later charge $500 since I decided not to go with them. read more

I am VERY happy with Armen and Sam, they took care of my G35, I purchased this new car from the dealer in 2005 and after 17 days I was rear ended.. I just took a few pictures of my car with the app, entered my information and then I was contacted by a few auto body repair shops close to me. Oxnard gave me the best price on my bumper and the man I talked to was very helpful over the phone. I took my car to Oxnard Collision the next day and that was it! The best body shop I have ever gone to. I have gotten in a few accidents recently and both times have taken my car to them. They take care of you as if you were family. They do such a great job, as if the car had never gotten into an accident. My most recent accident damaged my steering column, but after taking it here it is as if it's better than new. A couple of months ago my Lexus was rear-ended on the freeway, causing extensive damage to it. I took the car to a number of body shops. The mechanics gave it a quick look-over, and gave me some ridiculously high, open-end estimates . When I asked for a detailed list of repairs they told me they'll call me later in the day. Never heard from them. Someone recommended Oxnard Collision Center, and I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The knowledgeable and polite manager, Sam, checked the car thoroughly, then asked me if I could wait 20 minutes so he could give me an estimate right then and there! Talk about surprise! And it was at least $2000 less than the others!! I asked specific questions re certain items in the estimate, and Sam discussed them with me clearly and patiently. I felt I could trust this place. The repairs were completed on time and my Lexus looked absolutely showroom-new. And Sam told me that the total price came at $215 less because they were able to get some parts cheaper.
