Chris and his team do beautiful work- it can be really hit or miss when hiring professionals to work on your home but nothing is more valuable than a job done right THE FIRST TIME. We called Pure Ducts out to clean our vents on our older home. They did fantastic work for a great price. We were thrilled when our condo chose pure ducts to uninstall and reinstall all the ductwork for a major structure project. Chris was very cool and let us do some upgrades (that we paid for, beyond the job the condo association scoped out) and BOY... our house is SO much more comfortable!!!! What I appreciate about Chris and his entire team is they focus on doing a job VERY well. Details matter, and they know more than just ducts. Chris even called out an HVAC friend to advise on a few key items with our rebuild. I cannot recommend pure ducts enough. Be sure to ask about all the work they do! They do more than just duct cleaning! When you call, there's a very good chance that Chris himself answers your call.

I was tasked with getting a new vacuum serviced that my mom picked up at a house sale recently and…read moredidn't want to go to Banks. I did some internet research and found Gabriel's vacuum was not only closer to home, but had awesome reviews! Anyway, I hustled in on a Saturday morning with the vacuum and was greeted by two men in the store. While it's not the fanciest store, it's probably the best in town for a few reasons. First, they're honest and their pricing can't be beat. They sell nicer vacuums that you can't necessarily get at other stores like Walmart or Meijer. They also are very honest about the brands, what works and what would work best for you. Anyway, I told the man what we needed and left the vacuum. He said it would be ready Monday, and I was okay with that. Estimates are free here and they sell all the parts and pieces to go with what you own. you can also purchase rebuilt vacuums for a very reasonable price if you don't want to drop $300+ dollars, which I loved. About 3 hours later I got a call from the store from the same man who helped me. He said that he cleaned up the vacuum, put in an authorized bag, greased the roller and said that it needed a new bering. The cost for the new bering was $40.50 which wasn't bad. I also picked up extra 3 extra belts for home and a pack of custom vacuum bags for $20 plus tax. Total bill? a touch over $60. The vacuum retails for over $300 and requires occasional maintenience as any quality machine does. Overall I was satisfied with my experience here for a few reasons. First, the new AND used selection of vacuums for sale. I love that you can shop here if you need a new machine or a rebuilt one at a discount. Second, the honesty. We talked about repair costs on other machines and what their downfalls are. We also talked about what good selling features some of the brands have, so that helped. The knowledge base is amazing with these guys and they won't do you wrong. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and will gladly return in the future. They also have a second location in Mount Clemens but that's way to far for me to drive.

I'd been told to try a popular local shop that has several locations, but the Yelp reviews weren't stellar. Found Gabriel's and even though they were over a half hour away, the reviews on Yelp (as well as the friendliness of the guy, Tony, when I called) compelled us to spend the gas. We were not disappointed. I got one complaint (and I called them and let them know). They fixed my vacuum so well and so fast, now Pimp is gonna expect me to vacuum every damn day. Nope. Ain't happening. I mean, they cleaned the living daylights out of that sucker (pun intended). Turns out, that was why it was overheating. Heck, ... I didn't even know the darn thing was blue! Now, if you go visit them, you need to know the address on Yelp is incorrect. They are located at 8111 Riverland Dr., Sterling Heights, MI. It's behind the Speedway on the corner of Riverland and Van Dyke (SW side of the strip mall.) Small but not hard to find. Tony, thanks. I'll be bringing my sewing machines next, but not too soon. If Pimp is already expecting me to vacuum, you can only imagine what he'll want when you clean my sewing machines

He was able to tell me the difference between brands and models and show me various model issues on machines in for repair. Then he showed me two machines that would work for my needs, but this was not a high pressure sales pitch. He was perfectly neutral about a sale, which made it easier to decide. Once I'd made my choice, he showed me which replacement bags I'd need and accessories I might want. Again, this was neutral.
