My husband and I shopped here to browse men's outwear and treadmills. My husband commented that the prices of the outwear were too high. When we were looking at the treadmills, an employee nearby saw us but did not greet us. One of the treadmills did not have a price tag, so I asked her about it. She was not able to answer our questions well, so she said that she would find another employee to help. We did not feel impressed with her communication and job performance. The second employee could not find the key to turn on the treadmill, so he used a different key that thankfully worked. We asked him about the features of the treadmill, and I found the answers on the Dick's website on my cell phone before he could find the answers. At least he spoke politely with us. My husband and I decided to purchase that treadmill, which was name-brand and half-off for only $1,000 plus $175 for delivery and assembly in our home. The employee accurately rang up our purchase. He said that he could schedule delivery for weeks later, which was too long of a wait for us, so we instead waited for he delivery company to select a date, and that date was only days later.

We used the self-checkout, and the machines worked correctly. We did not interact with employees at all, not even as we were walking around the store, so I cannot comment on how they speak.

The comparable price was $20, and they were marked down to $15. I waited in line for a couple of minutes before a cashier called me over to her register. Then she was rude to my wife when she asked if we could purchase vs rent the particular suit I was there getting fitted for. Separate note, I asked if they had military discount and she cut off the younger gentleman and said no because "people were abusing it". What does that even mean? Anyway, just seemed like one more opportunity for her to take another rude jab. Oh, she also dismissed our request to get our two little boys measured because they were "due for a growth spurt" but given her attitude thus far at this point in the visit, my wife and I are pretty sure she just didn't want to deal with us any further. Their prices aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I prefer to have my daughter's dance shoes fitted rather than picking up anything from Target, so I like going here for those. Also, if in doubt about gear, regular store associates at a target/ Walmart etc will not know about dance wear, but these ladies do. So yes, I recommend them. Call ahead for shoe fitting appointments though.
