We've been coming here for years. Our first visit was by accident as we were looking for furniture…read more- we now come at least once a year. Just lovely. Great quality food at reasonable prices. There's also plenty to eat. Staff are always pleasant and you're never rushed. I had the burger and chips and my wife a roasted vegetable wrap. Both come with cracking chips. 2 pots of earl grey tea. Cost just over £20. Perfect! If you have room after a mains go for the cakes; home made and rather delicious. We've never managed it so will come back just for that.

Wow - this is a BIG shop! Almost to the point of headache! I don't think I've been as lost as when…read moreI ended up nearly getting locked in the Egyptian section of the Louvre (but that's another story!). Lovely selection of furniture - it's not cheap though! And was a bit disappointed at the Tetrad selection, only 2 on show (and that was our main reason for going). That said there is a lot to see. They need to sort out getting some aircon in though, boy was it hot! And the wallpaper section was pretty poor with none actually on show just lots of books, but hey you can't do it all. The woman in the wardrobe section was very very pushy, her manner alone was enough to put me off, but all the other staff were very helpful, particularly the lovely lady by the sofas! It sound like I didn't like this place and I really did, just didn't really fill my specifications for the day. Did see some little stools I really liked though. Didn't try the cafe but looked nice. Will be backon a cooler day.

*Apologies to anyone who has previously read this I put Indian instead of Chinese restaurant -…read morethere is only a Chinese restuarant/takeaway called the 'Happy Garden' There have been countless plans to change the precinct into another facility - possibly something useful. Only some of the shops there proove worth going to the rest - can't see how they are making profit. It has recently had a refurbishment but not that you could really tell by the vile 1970s style toilet blocks and falling down apartment above the falling apart pub. There are a few shops such as somerfield, softwalkers and the newsagents, a chippy, subway sandwich shop, an Indian restaurant, betfred, ceramic pottery workshop and a newly opened vets. The car park is ample yet not enough parent and child spaces in comparison to more than enough disabled parking spaces. There has always been naff security on site which you cannot rely on clearing the troublesome chavs who congregate or pathetically have go in subway in groups of 50 just to get a donut Alright if you just need the basics (bread/milk) or a quick sandwich but not much else really. It should have been changed into a much needed up to date leisure centre (one of the suggested development plans years ago)

This place consists of Somerfield Supermarket, a new Aldi, Marten's Newsagents, Ceramic Experience,…read moreSubway, Lloyds chemist, chinese restaurant and West Heath Chip Shop. A handy place to buy a quick bite to eat but is usually run amok by high-school kids at around 3 o'clock and the local pub goers at the Unicorn pub just outside it. The supermarket is alright, not too large and the product choice isn't too extensive. The Aldi has recently been opened to join along with the other one available in Congleton. I personally haven't been in this but if wanting non-known-brand products for a cheap price then this is the place to go. Ceramic Experience is a place for children to design plates/paint ceramic cutlery for special occasions etc. Not a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon. The chinese restaurant is good for a night out eating. The Chip shop is rather dingy but pretty cheap.

Great Scott!-Great shop! Amazing alternative/hippy/fancy…read moredress shop on quiet street in Macclesfield, TUK shoes, Handcrafted Silver jewellery, stipey tights, Lots and Lots of fancy dress costumes and accessories. I always go in to have a look at their silver rings, and usually leave with a big bag of fun things. It's great to go in just before Halloween and Christmas. Prices are great, staff are very friendly, If there's a certain outfit you need for a fancy dress they will do whatever they can to get it for you!

Woman last weekend said…read morethey didn't do hire stuff normally on Saturdays but she wrote a note in the shop diary yesterday to get costume ready for today. A different woman in shop today started yelling at me, flew into a rage, swearing in front of my daughter when I asked her to check in the shop diary, after she had already jumped down my throat that she couldnt help me before I had finished explaining the conversation I'd had the weekend before. She was the owner of the shop. To be fair I dud get stubborn and repeatedly ask her to check in diary when she refused to let me finish a sentence and would not speak calmly and reasonably. I did call her rude and unpleasant before we left the premises so that's my bad. All the same, I have no idea why she escalated the situation so quickly. AVOID GIVING YOUR CUSTOM. THOROUGHLY NASTY
