It's not often that I'd feel a charity shop warrants a review but the Oxfam store in Sale is definitely worthy of a thumbs up from me. It's a small store and it sells a quite typical range of charity store goods. The difference though with this branch of Oxfam is that it somehow seems to source a fantastic range of quality items. Oxfam's prices are perhaps slightly higher than other charity shops in Sale but it seems to cater for a younger and hipper customer. The range of books is contemporary and you can get current bestsellers for a fraction of their price in WH Smiths or similar. It's definitely a shop worth a browse and there are plenty of bargains to be had. The advantage of Oxfam is that you won't have to invest too much time or effort into finding those bargains. read more
