We've been coming here for years. Our first visit was by accident as we were looking for furniture - we now come at least once a year. Just lovely. Great quality food at reasonable prices. There's also plenty to eat. Staff are always pleasant and you're never rushed. I had the burger and chips and my wife a roasted vegetable wrap. Both come with cracking chips. 2 pots of earl grey tea. Cost just over £20. Perfect! If you have room after a mains go for the cakes; home made and rather delicious. We've never managed it so will come back just for that. read more

Wow - this is a BIG shop! Almost to the point of headache! I don't think I've been as lost as when I ended up nearly getting locked in the Egyptian section of the Louvre (but that's another story!). Lovely selection of furniture - it's not cheap though! And was a bit disappointed at the Tetrad selection, only 2 on show (and that was our main reason for going). That said there is a lot to see. They need to sort out getting some aircon in though, boy was it hot! And the wallpaper section was pretty poor with none actually on show just lots of books, but hey you can't do it all. The woman in the wardrobe section was very very pushy, her manner alone was enough to put me off, but all the other staff were very helpful, particularly the lovely lady by the sofas! It sound like I didn't like this place and I really did, just didn't really fill my specifications for the day. Did see some little stools I really liked though. Didn't try the cafe but looked nice. Will be backon a cooler day. read more

Fab store, great service, broad range of modern and traditional products. Great Cafe too making it an ideal destination shop / browsing day out! The family are still very hands on making the attention to detail very personal! Highly recommended experience! Great service with great prices with a smile read more

This converted silk mill is a mecca of beautiful treats. With several floors of amazing furniture of all descriptions you really will find that is somewhere you can wile away the hours, and with a different staircase at what seems like every turn it's very easy to get lost amongst the many many wings. The impressive main staircase is just beautiful, and the contents are equally so. The staff are also extremely helpful, with advice on hand for any query you may have. They've got the right idea by having a coffee shop where you can have a bite to eat, as you can really spend the whole day here. Arighi Bianchi also provide an interior design service, and you can guarantee that they will do the very best to transform any room of your home. While you're there, take a look at what is definately the biggest bed I have ever seen - must be a triple at least! read more

What a fantastic shop. Have never been in a furniture store quite like this one. The range of furniture is exceptional and the staff really know what customer service is all about. They couldn't have been more helpful. The cafe is a real treat and do try the chips. As has been said previously this is not a cheap store but if you are looking for quality then this is the place to go. read more

People seem to come from a long way away to visit Arighi Bianchi. It is situated on the main road through macclesfield in what looks like an old mill, there is plenty of parking and the actual shop is like a maze of smallish interconnected rooms with a grand staircase, it is quite expecsive furniture but I can't imagine anyone going in and not seeing something they like, gift shop is interesting too. read more

Great shop, great furniture but delivery is a bit dodgy and woe betide you if you have a problem and need to use the much vaunted after-care team. My partner and I have bought 3 lots of lounge furniture so believe me I'm not talking about something I dont know about. First went without a hitch, such good quality sofa I sold it after several years and recouped nearly a third of the cost. Second lot, 2 sofas, equally good quality, look stunning 10 years on and very comfortable, still in use now in our rental property. Unfortunately they couldnt get in one sofa and I had to hire furniture movers at extra cost. They had no problem and since then I've managed to get it in and out myself. But our new set is has been a nightmare. Fabric had a fault on one of the chairs, so far its 3months since I received the chair and complained. I ring, they say its expected 'this week' and they'll ring me, they dont ring and it never arrives. I then have to ring them again to find out whats going on, and they are so off hand with it too. Dont think I even had an apology for the fact the item wasnt perfect in the first place, and the delivery driver tried to hide the fault too! Despite the quality and choice, and the fact I've been there 3 times already, I doubt we'll go back. I'll definitely try other places first at the very least. The 2 stars are for the quality and choice only. At the prices they charge I expect a decent customer service. And blimey, it only took 8 weeks to make the 3 chairs and the extra large sofa, whats the hold up? read more

Wow! What a surprise! We had arranged to meet a long lost relative in the cafe of this shop, not knowing either the area or the shop and what a fantastic surprise. Easily the most gorgeous shop I have been in, full of beautiful furniture and other design items. Spent a lot of time in the cafe bar, sampling the childrens menu pizza, chips, salmon pasta, risotto, then later tea, cakes etc and all absolutely delicious, really excellent. The staff were also exceptional, expecially the chap who found us a table in the cafe, they really cant do enough to help. Just wish we lived closer, would make it a weekly visit. x read more
