He was incredibly honest. To make matters better, he came in at a lower price than the other quotes I received, AND he was willing to schedule work immediately (pending mandatory utility checks). My house is in Vienna, VA, and his brother Edwin, who partners with him, came out and did most of the work. They work together. His brother is super kind and patient, and even decided to work on a day with temperatures surpassing mid-90s. Pro-tip: Leave out some cold drinks for your contractors on hot days. I called several deck builders and deck repair companies, including Loudoun Deck Repair, to get some ideas and estimates to repair and possibly expand the deck. After speaking with those companies, I decided to call Loudoun Deck Repair. Keith Bohlayer, the owner of the company. listened to my requirements and was able to stop by later that evening for a visual inspection and consultation. Keith had some great ideas that provided me with a lot more information to consider for the project. He followed up with a detailed estimate later that evening. After a thorough review of his proposal, I decided to work with Loudoun Deck Repair...and I am very happy I did. As the project progressed, I expanded the scope based on Keith's recommendations. I am very impressed by the work Keith performed, and so are walkers and joggers in the neighborhood as they pass by my house every day. I have received countless comments about the beautiful wood work, and the uniqueness of Keith's repair and design work. It has been a big hit! My wife and I are absolutely delighted with our renovated deck. What was equally impressive is how easy it was to work with Keith and Ann through all phases of the project...scheduling the consultation, receiving their proposal, signing the contract, and performing the work. We also appreciated how neat and clean the work area was throughout the entire construction process. Our yard was totally accessible and clean at the end of each work day...with everything neatly tucked away until the next work day! I plan to use Loudoun Deck Repair again in the future. Based on responses from my neighbors, I am sure they will receive many more requests for proposals in the near future. Thank you Keith and Ann. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you.
