Don't even call them for questions. Without agreeing to any services they came to my property without permission then tried to bill for it. I contacted them by email and phone. I've been with Owen Tree Service for several years and have been pleased with them from the start. They don't just take care of trees, but they do landscaping, too. They have the right equipment to do it all. This past year, I've had the pleasure of meeting a friendly new field rep named Tim Lindley. Owen Tree and Landscaping: let's be perfectly clear about what happened. 1st phone call not returned but worker came back the first time to touch up where they had missed sweeping my driveway and side walk and redo the weed prevention where it was missed. This is a BASIC procedure after spreading fertilizer. Clean up of fertilizer on drive stains concrete! 2nd time was to come again and retreat the weeds. Again after no less than 3 times I called inquiring about the fertilizing. This time I noted worker had spilled granules in the street. I did not watch I just let him do his job. To be perfect CLEAR l put the -19-19-19 3 weeks prior to this last application by Owen Tree. Today lots of burned out patches of turf. I don't see or hear of Owen Tree coming back to rectify the situation they left. So to blame me for not training Your Employees ???????????....... That's not my responsibility or fault. You can see where he stopped the machine and did not stop the application at that point. I take care of my lawn . So when Owen Teee starts looking for answers....... Last year I bought a three application service for Owen Tree to spray my spruce for needlecast. They came late for the first application and never came back for the second one until I called. Then they came 8 days later to spray the third application, which was totally inappropriate. I stopped the guy and told him to come back at an appropriate interval. They never came back for the third application. I called the company and after several calls gave up. So when the service agreement came in the mail in the winter of 2024, I contacted them and spoke to Brad Dunkin' regarding my previous issue. He agreed to oversee the application schedule and credited me the missed application. So spring arrives and they show up with a very undersized truck for trees that are 60' tall. My husband and I observe the work and I take a video of the guy spraying only the bottom 40% and only on one side of the tree. My husband goes out and talks to the guy who rudely reminds my husband that he's the expert and he doesn't need his opinion. Needless to say I call Brad, who never contacts me. I send texts, still no response. So after a month when I got no response and they never returned for the next application I called the company and cancelled the service. I have received a partial refund but in my opinion, the first application should have been included in the refund since it was done inappropriately. This company has the WORST customer service. We hired Owen lawn service to fertilize our lawn. They were hired to fertilize the whole yard in the early spring and late fall, and then do a round the house and pond 2 more times during the summer. Last year they did good and my yard started looking better. This year they came late and fertilized the whole yard and then came back 2 more times right away and over fertilized a round my house and pond and burned my lawn. They said they came back a fourth time that we have no record of and only fertilized a round the house and pond not the whole yard like they were supposed to. I called and asked about my lawn and the manager told me to take care of it myself. SoI canceled the service and did not pay the bill hoping someone would call and resolve this issue, they did not. I had to call them after receiving a second invoice for work not done, then the manager called me back and he was not concerned losing a customer he just wanted be paid. I cancelled the service and will not recommend them to anyone. read more

We had Owen Tree services last YEAR! They just came out on our property sprayed for pesticides and left us a hundred dollar bill. We did NOT hire them this year. We called and the lady said we emailed you. You didn't respond so they took it upon them selfves to do their service! Said we have to pay the hundred this is fox 2 news hall of shame. Agree with other reviewer. Communication and service have slipped terribly. They came and cut down several trees in my yard. My understanding was that also included stump removal.... I had inquired about it. They did not do it. Also I was told wood/ downed trees would be picked up the next day after being cut down. Ten days later and three phone calls to them.... still waiting! Have used this company for years. Good service , no issues. This year...had to call twice for first treatment. Three days later...ready for first cut...had to dig out dandelions ! Same issue following week...called OWEN. We are not going to come out every time you see a dandelion. We have customers call that have HUNDREDS OF DANDELIONS ! Really ! Very condescending..take it or leave it attitude. Called back an asked for manager...none available...no call back. Avoid this company. Apparently under new " mis management. read more
