I try not to write a review of any business that I am currently doing business with. It seems a…read morebit strange and possibly could be seen as manipulative. So this review had to wait until I could know I wasn't going back very soon. I stayed here for roughly about 3 months straight. It's a nice little family owned motel. It's definitely not the weekly motel vibe that you might get on 4th street in Reno. But a "small town" motel vibe that you might have gotten back in the heyday of motels in new interstates before freeways. There is nothing fancy about Main Street Inn, but if you are in Yerington for more than a potty break, you probably should already understand that there is nothing really fancy about Yerington. This is a town of friendly real people. Not fake city people that plaster on that smile because of some creepy corporate guideline. The town is probably the most welcoming town in all of rural Nevada for me. The office is populated by a bunch of locals filling in the hours. So there may be small spot of time you wont have anyone at the front desk. This is really a mom and pop business. The room I was in for most of my time in town was just right for my needs. Each room has it's own character it seems. Mine had lots of drawers to keep stuff in as well. All of the staff, including the owner was always pleasant and as helpful as possible when I interacted with them. If I could get this good of service at the high end hotels I stay at on vacation, I might never come home! The only real negatives that I can think of are that they don't have great parking for larger vehicles. So that might be a consideration if you have a large vehicle it could be a tiny walk from where you have to park your car. All of the businesses are within walking distance of the Inn as well. I highly recommend Dini's Coffee Shop.

Booking.com customers, despite what you may read while making online reservation, this motel does…read morenot have a prepaid option with Booking.com. The first thing the motel asks for upon arrival is your room payment. Can be unnerving when Booking.com stated that the reservation made was a prepaid, non refundable reservation that required agreement and credit card information for charging through them. I booked motel reservation through Southwest Airlines, which routes to Booking.com. I opened a customer service case with Rapid Rewards mileage to ensure I will receive airline miles. With that disclosure, do, do, do stay at this motel. Jay at the front desk is extremely helpful and polite. Excellent customer service if he is working. I recommend calling ahead if you have any special instructions on 3rd party reservation site. They don't necessarily make it to motel either. The room was very clean. It reminded me, (fondly), of visiting my grandma and her pink tile with white grout bathroom. My Grandma was a skilled homemaker with a clean home, and our visit felt just like that. The grout around tile was clean and white, all surfaces were clean and shiny. The carpet in bedroom is new, so I didn't get that gross feeling, I frequently have when opening a door to a carpeted motel room. (We have hard wood floors at home.) There is a small coffee pot with filters and coffee provided, clean microwave and mini fridge. No breakfast provided. My early rising Husband popped over to Safeway and bought fresh fruit and a couple frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls for the microwave. I am a slow starter and loved my, "room service." Holiday Lodge had a hand soap dispenser by sink in our room. It was very efficient and did not make a soapy mess on sink. The faucet worked great, bringing hot or cold water quickly to the basin. The towels were average motel towels, would have enjoyed something plusher, but they were clean. I liked that they provide lotion in desert climate, I had my own, but I always look for lotion in addition to shampoo and conditioner. The products were efficiently packaged in sanitary individual packets, like a condiments. One knows that someone isn't reusing tiny bottles this way. Decent tv channel selection for my hubby and free wi-if for me. I slept very well on the king sized bed. We were visiting during cold weather and the heater was sufficiently warm, my husband turned it down to sleep. There is a Chinese Restaurant right across the street that has good reviews on Yelp, although we didn't eat there ourselves. Convenient location if you are tired of driving. Locals say to order the garlic chicken. I would definitely stay here again if driving through the area.

For what it is, 1-2 star low cost motor lodge, it ticks the boxes. Clean, accessible and…read moreconvenient. The bed in my room was wonderful. Very comfortable. Spartan with just the necessities, no coffee in room for example but 200 feet across is a Sinclair minimart with good brew. Definitely would stay here again and recommend.

Absolutely amazing accommodation! I'll review on Booking…read moretoo, but since I have the restaurant a poor review, I wanted to give huge kudos to the lodge side. Pulled into town early and they happily accommodated our request so we could reorganize and repack the car for the next leg of our trip. The rooms are CLEAN! I mean, wow. Smells lovely, the baseboards were clean, bedding smelled clean, bathtub was clean, behind the toilet clean. I mean, we travel a LOT. And those are areas that typically get missed. The corners of the room, the corners of the cushions on the furniture-- typically there's build up. Not here! Generous size room. We got a King suite. It's literally a small apartment. Fridge, microwave, couch, chair, coffee table, desk, entertainment center, tv and lamps in the front room. A nice butlers pantry for coffee, fully stocked with all coffee fixings, ice bucket and a counter for making sandwiches. A closet, with dressing bench leads to the small separated bathroom. The primary bedroom is very spacious with full dresser, king size bed and two end tables. Fully floored with luxury vinyl plank it's easy to tell when barefoot and your feet stay clean... that they take pride in ownership for the weary travelers. The ceilings bely the age of the building, but get over it. It's truly a sparkling place to stay and I'd be very proud to call these people (the employees) family, if I owned the place. They're kind, attentive and very informative! We will definitely stay again. And hopefully the restaurant gets an upgrade. If not, the lodge is the highlight of the town and worth a stop every time. Value for money= excellent. Worth the drive to stay rather than stop in Reno? 1,000% Enjoyable experience? You bet. Quiet. Thank you all! We will return.

We stayed on a Saturday night and the cost was pretty reasonable so we booked and hoped for the best. Arrived about 4:15 and got checked in promptly...they put us on the second floor...my only complaint is that the stairwell looked really steep and unstable, but we lived...so I will move on from that. Inside was very clean and quiet hotel for a Saturday and right across from the casino that I rated on Yelp as well. I will stay here again...it was quite pleasant...and the casino gave us something to do...watch an NBA finals game and gamble a little. They did a great job on this hotel renovation...the room inside was quit nice for an overnight stay!
