I'm disappointed not to give it 5 stars because of how much care the owners put into it. However if peace and quiet is what you're looking for, then this isn't the place for you. Saturday night they have a communal campfire. While this sounded like a fun idea, my wife and I had to listen to Al (the camp host) get drunk, bicker with his fiancé, talk about himself incessantly, and overshare his personal life (including how underpaid he is as a camp host) all night to some of the other campers. The night before, there were people at the communal campfire drinking and partying very loudly until almost 1 AM. Camp hosts did nothing about it. We even called asking for help but never received any follow up. To be honest the host never introduced himself or was anywhere to be found during the day at all. For reference, we were there for 6 days and didn't get as much as a hello. As mentioned, cute campground that you can tell the owners care about with great prices, but my wife and I will not be coming back here and cannot recommend until there is a new camp host. Side note (not the campground's fault and not affecting my rating): the reservoir was very low in October when we went. Just keep in mind if you're looking to do any kind of water activities while staying here later in the season.

Mosquitoes were hatching. This time of the year the water was high.... Fallon side had clean beaches, plenty of trash receptacles and clean restrooms. You can camp on the beaches or in the developed areas. Boat ramps are available or you can launch off of the beach. Beware of the sand!! Make sure you bring plenty of water and ice. No close stores.

Water levels are lower than I remember, but it was nice to take a trip down memory lane. Every Summer, my parents drove their RV and I watched from the top bunk. My brothers and I could never stay in our seats. My parents never knew what we were up to. We always booked the same block of camping sites and we invited three other family's every year. The old tires swings on the cottonwood trees were always a hit with us kids and staying up late catching June bugs, telling scary stories around a campfire and roasting marshmallows for smores. It was cool showing my kids where my parents brought us camping.
