Very friendly staff. Older building, but clean and comfortable. It may not be a five star hotel,…read morebut it is still worth a 5 star review.

I try not to write a review of any business that I am currently doing business with. It seems a…read morebit strange and possibly could be seen as manipulative. So this review had to wait until I could know I wasn't going back very soon. I stayed here for roughly about 3 months straight. It's a nice little family owned motel. It's definitely not the weekly motel vibe that you might get on 4th street in Reno. But a "small town" motel vibe that you might have gotten back in the heyday of motels in new interstates before freeways. There is nothing fancy about Main Street Inn, but if you are in Yerington for more than a potty break, you probably should already understand that there is nothing really fancy about Yerington. This is a town of friendly real people. Not fake city people that plaster on that smile because of some creepy corporate guideline. The town is probably the most welcoming town in all of rural Nevada for me. The office is populated by a bunch of locals filling in the hours. So there may be small spot of time you wont have anyone at the front desk. This is really a mom and pop business. The room I was in for most of my time in town was just right for my needs. Each room has it's own character it seems. Mine had lots of drawers to keep stuff in as well. All of the staff, including the owner was always pleasant and as helpful as possible when I interacted with them. If I could get this good of service at the high end hotels I stay at on vacation, I might never come home! The only real negatives that I can think of are that they don't have great parking for larger vehicles. So that might be a consideration if you have a large vehicle it could be a tiny walk from where you have to park your car. All of the businesses are within walking distance of the Inn as well. I highly recommend Dini's Coffee Shop.

I stayed at the Yerington Inn for a week, it was a clean, simple room. Everything worked fine, but…read morenothing went above basic. Beds weren't bad, but they were different. I don't know if one was higher or something, but one of them did seems smaller. My biggest complaint was the seating. If you get a two twins room, all you get is a small, unlit desk and a single, basic, hard chair. I would have liked an arm chair or anything else that would make the room more comfortable to be in for longer than just to sleep. The WiFi was a bit of an odd one as well, they only allow two devices per room, which seems odd in 2019, especially in a room that is meant for 1-4 people. But, this is the best option in Yerington, and If I need to go back out there for work, I'll stay again.

I have been staying at this hotel regularly since 2017- my parents live in yerington. This hotel…read morehas always been a great place with competitive pricing, friendly staff and clean rooms. Since they were taken over by Best Western Surestay things have gone down hill. I made a reservation for May 3-5. When making this reservatio, the hotel was made aware that we needed a ground floor room as my daughter cannot walk up stairs (this hotel does not have an elevator). I was told since there is a lot of elderly people checking in that day, the hotel couldn't guarantee a ground floor. I got the impression that the ADA people don't matter by the management. When the hotel called to confirm my reservation I was made aware the reservation was for only 1 night, not 2 as originally reserved. I will see how the check-in process goes, the quality of the hotel and wither or not I will be staying here agin after this weekend. My interactions with the staff so far has a bad taste for me. I will update after my stay.

Absolutely amazing accommodation! I'll review on Booking…read moretoo, but since I have the restaurant a poor review, I wanted to give huge kudos to the lodge side. Pulled into town early and they happily accommodated our request so we could reorganize and repack the car for the next leg of our trip. The rooms are CLEAN! I mean, wow. Smells lovely, the baseboards were clean, bedding smelled clean, bathtub was clean, behind the toilet clean. I mean, we travel a LOT. And those are areas that typically get missed. The corners of the room, the corners of the cushions on the furniture-- typically there's build up. Not here! Generous size room. We got a King suite. It's literally a small apartment. Fridge, microwave, couch, chair, coffee table, desk, entertainment center, tv and lamps in the front room. A nice butlers pantry for coffee, fully stocked with all coffee fixings, ice bucket and a counter for making sandwiches. A closet, with dressing bench leads to the small separated bathroom. The primary bedroom is very spacious with full dresser, king size bed and two end tables. Fully floored with luxury vinyl plank it's easy to tell when barefoot and your feet stay clean... that they take pride in ownership for the weary travelers. The ceilings bely the age of the building, but get over it. It's truly a sparkling place to stay and I'd be very proud to call these people (the employees) family, if I owned the place. They're kind, attentive and very informative! We will definitely stay again. And hopefully the restaurant gets an upgrade. If not, the lodge is the highlight of the town and worth a stop every time. Value for money= excellent. Worth the drive to stay rather than stop in Reno? 1,000% Enjoyable experience? You bet. Quiet. Thank you all! We will return.

The rooms were clean, large, well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and there was a restaurant at the El Capitan Casino. Service made you feel welcome. Not only is this the nicest in the area, it would compete with rooms in any area. I would definitely recommend this Travelodge. Some rooms are being renovated but the ones we stayed in were really nice. I would stay here again.
