They have had bad teachers in the past I have heard but…read morecurrently they have a whole bunch of great teachers in every class from the infants class to pre-k! I work in one of the classes so I have an inside view, just like any daycare there are gonna be good and bad days. Goddard does a great job at potty training kids and giving them love and comfort while they are away from their families. They are organized and make sure that their staff isn't overworked. Goddard gives women the opportunity to grow their family and be a working mom. They pay for tons of training as well.

Our boy has so much fun, is learning daily, plus we love getting updates on the app they have throughout the day of what he's doing and seeing photos of his time away from us. They don't have the proper education to care for these children as I saw all the sweets and sugar that was ordered that they give them throughout the day (No wonder why he's bouncing off the walls). They would constantly take my son and put him on the floor in the corner in their office because they didn't know how to teach him. I've seen other children hit my child and they didn't react to that but when he defended himself he was the one that got in trouble as we are working on the no hitting because he's a 2 year old and this is when they learn. Not to mention my son doesn't do this in outings, at home, nor at any friends house so I am assuming he's picking up the behavior at this school. They are full of misinformation they didn't help him, he's never been this bad until he enrolled here. Again this was an awful mistake and experience. I will never attend a learning experience again. My suggestion if you have a hyper kid or a 2 year old that hits don't put them in this program, my kid had to pick it up from here because like I said before he's never hit, or acted out the way he does now.

The Children's Depot is a very clean facility - I am amazed at how often I see the teachers cleaning surfaces, floors and toys. My son has learned so much, too! For a while, he was signing things to my husband and me, and we were having to Google what my son was saying to us. Several times, I have decided that I wanted to teach him something, only to find out that he already knew the concept (left vs right, counting 1-10, ABCs). Also, I have noticed that several daycares in the area require parents to bring 3-4 prefilled bottles for infants on a daily basis, which can end up being a lot of work for new parents. At Children's Depot, we were allowed to keep 3-4 bottles and formula/breast milk in the classroom. This was a HUGE help for my husband and me. Before we started at The Children's Depot, we were spending a minimum of 30 minutes each might washing bottles. Overall, this daycare has been a big blessing for my family.

During their "observation period" That was supposed to be 2 hours, we were called to pick him up because he tried to leave one playground and go to another. It would seem the adults there don't secure gates to keep a 5yr old from leaving? Afterward we were told our $165 deposit was non refundable. I recommend finding a better daycare if you are considering La Petit.

We have had two children at this center -- our daughter for just over a year (after our son moved…read moreon to Pre-K). Early on we needed several meetings because in the "twos" class our daughter repeatedly came home with bite marks from other children, which we believe was caused by inadequate supervision and low staffing ratios. The management team changed Friday (today is Monday) and this morning my wife arrived just after 9 AM (based on the previous drop-off understanding) only to be refused entry without any prior notice of a cutoff change. When she returned to ask for clarification, the director yelled at her, "ma'am you just came back in here to yell and argue with me," and forced her to leave on the spot -- with no grace or alternative offered -- so she had to immediately figure out how to get to work and care for our daughter. My wife left in tears. This is not how a childcare provider should treat paying families. We expect clear policy communication, proper supervision, and respectful treatment of parents.

I am appalled and deeply disturbed by the blatant racism displayed at Rejoice Christian School…read moreduring a recent basketball game against Central High School. According to Coach Ransom, young children in the stands openly made racist remarks, saying things like, "They love chicken wings... They love watermelon... Look at that runaway..."--and instead of stopping it, the parents around them laughed. Even after the coaching staff brought it to the referees' attention and Rejoice Christian's staff supposedly "addressed" it, these kids continued walking down to the Central team's bench to whisper their vile comments directly into the players' ears. How is this acceptable? How is this "Christian"? Rejoice Christian, where is the Christ-like love you claim to stand for? How do you allow racism to fester in your gym while claiming to be a faith-based institution? The fact that adults in your community found humor in demeaning young Black athletes is a disgrace. This is not a school representing Christ--this is a school enabling racism. To the leadership of Rejoice Christian: What are you doing to address this? What message are you sending to your students, both white and Black? If you are unwilling to hold your community accountable, then your Christianity is nothing more than a hollow title.
