Lies, lies and nearly $1,000 dollars later with unauthorized parts and wire cutting instead of really fixing the problem. We gave them two chances to tell the truth and refix it correctLu. We took it to a Nissan dealer, who videotaped the actual problem which shows the poor workmanship from OWASSO AUTO CARE. Never go here! We left our heavy works truck with the company for 7 weeks. They called said it was finally repaired and we went to pick it up. After 2 hours of driving we still had same problem as when we left it for repairs. They called back 1 week later and said it was repaired again, and after only 1 hour if driving yet again the same problem. We took it back to their shop, and after 2 weeks they called and said they could not fix it. After 3 times if trying to repair and having it for 3 months total and $6000 still not fixed, We asked them to leave it out front in their shop, after a few days they had our truck impounded. Now I'm out $500 before it's will be released. Do not do business with these people period!!!!! In my opinion they are crooks and VERY dishonest. read more

I had cold outdoor winter air blowing into the cab of my Jeep Cherokee on the passenger side so I took it to these guys for an solution and an estimate. They took a quick look at it and told me that it needed some insulation up under the dash board and provided me with a fair estimate. I brought my car back a few weeks later and they installed the insultation. It took a couple of hours but when it was done the price was less (almost by half) of the estimate they had provided me. I found the young owner to be very pleasant and attentive and his staff to be on task (i.e. I didn't see anyone standing around chatting rather they were hard at work). We haven't had extremely cold days to verify the job yet but so far I haven't felt the rush of air coming down to the floor as I did before SO..."so far so good"! I'm straight forward and not afraid to speak-up or address difficult situations so if the fix fails and I have to reassess or take the car back I'll post a follow-up review. I had a positive experience with these guys so should I have mechanical or electrical issues with my car (fingers crossed I won't!) I'll give these guys a shot at the repair. Renee K. read more

Warning Do not use Owasso Auto Care. We've used them for years and have spents thousands of dollars on costly repairs. For the most part, all was well until this experience. This time last year, paid $3,000 for a new timing chain. They never could get it to compete the relearn procedure and remove the codes and check engine light. They sent me to Chevy in Owasso to complete the relearn procedure. I paid an additional $200 for Chevy to tell me the timing chain was out of time and that's why it wouldn't complete. The car went back to Owasso Auto Care multiple times and David the owner kept trying to reassure me it was done right and that I have a one year wty. Two weeks shy of the 1 year wty expiring, the car broke down. I towed the vehicle to Owasso Auto Care last week and they refused to do a thorough check of the car to confirm what the issue was, my assumption was the timing chain. They didn't move the car from the parking lot where it was towed. David even called the police to make me leave because he refused to speak with me. He was so rude and unprofessional. I had the car towed to another mechanic in Owasso which did a report and photos of the issue. The timing chain was not in time which resulted in a damaged piston, 2 broken rocket arms, and a bent valve, meaning I need an engine replacement. I called back and sent photos to Owasso Auto Care and David still refused to honor my wty. I even asked what else would cause this damage and they had no explanation because there's not one. Two mechanics have confirmed that their work was not completed correctly and the timing chain not being in time caused engine failure. The timing chains job is to ensure things move on TIME. When it fails, things crash into each other. The car is not functional and I was quoted $7,000 for a replacement rebuilt engine and $11k for new. I've never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with this business. Read the other reviews. Others have had similar issues. It's sad that that they refuse to do the right thing and stand by their work and have integrity. No choice but to pursue legal action in hopes I recoup some of the loss. You've been warned. I will never do business with this shop. Poor service and the owner himself stoops to name calling with faced with negative feedback. There are many other far better options for car service. For the most part in the past this was a very nice place to come and they did a good job. Recently they hired a girl that answers the phone and she was completely rude! I had never had that experience in all three years bringing our car is in recommending this place to other people. The last time we went to just pick up the car because it was too much drama to deal with. I would definitely not recommend this place until they can get an honest person working the front desk. read more
