I've been seeing Dr. Morno for a year or so, for Botox and filler. She is amazing! I've never been so happy with my results, she is humorous, very smart and kind. Listens to my likes/dislikes. Such an artist! She has amazing credentials as an Allergan trainer and experience as an ocular surgeon. I would not go to anyone else for injections moving forward. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. These treatments are not the most fun and someone is there every time holding your hand. Everyone I have met has been patient, kind, communicative and so well educated on procedures/processes/outcomes. Shoutout to Alicia, Alexa and the awesome assistant who worked with me during Dr. Bahkos procedure. Highly recommend for the best service and results every time. Do not hesitant to visit RL.

Because of this experience, I chose to cancel my future appointments. Just sharing so others are aware to closely track appointments on their own and not rely on reminders. After I requested cancellation of my future appointments, I did not receive a response or confirmation that my future appointments are cancelled. This further reinforced my experience of poor communication.

I recently went to a consultation with Dr. Tamara Fountain to see what she could do about my under eye bags. She told me all i needed was a good med spa and, while she didn't know her personally, she was impressed with Dr. Amy Taub's work. I looked up Dr. Taub and was excited to see she was right in my backyard at Advanced Dermatology. I called to make an appointment and they told me she wasn't seeing new patients for at least the next year. Never deterred I called their other location in Lincolnshire and they fit me in for a consultation later that month. During the consultation I met with Dr. Taub's lovely and very informative assistant and then Dr. Taub herself. They gave a recommendation for filler (which I've always been afraid of, but figured worth a shot) and scheduled me in the Glencoe office for a few weeks later. Apparently she is only in Glencoe on Thursdays, which is why it can be tough to get an appointment there. Appointment day arrived. I was a little scared of the pain, but figured it couldn't be worse than childbirth. Thanks to Dr. Taub and her amazing staff it didn't hurt at all. They also blow cold air on your face during the process, which felt really good after being outside on a very hot day. I left a little sore with very minimal bruising...and could already notice a big difference within 5 minutes. Dr. Taub didn't use all the filler i had purchased because didn't think i needed it and said the under eye area is very sensitive, but scheduled me for a quick follow up next month to see if i needed more. It was a very quick, painless and successful appointment. I was so impressed with Dr. Taub and the entire staff that I plan to go there for other cosmetic dermatology needs in the future.

I originally got a Groupon many years ago and went to their Des Plaines location. The staff was…read moreextremely friendly and accommodating. The laser treatments were very effective and I was happy with my results. I've been to other places and their machines weren't as effective. I did miss a few treatments and they expired. I wasn't expecting for treatments to expire especially at such a high cost. This was a disappointment. Because of the great results, I decided to do a touch-up, finish off my one large area and add a 6 pack of a medium area. I was told the Des Plaines location was flooded, so I went to the Vernon Hills location. Which was a bit far for me but again, I wanted the good results. Alexia was the tech there and she was very thorough, friendly and didn't make things awkward at all. However, one of the schedulers was very rude. She called to confirm an appointment of mine scheduled in advance but she called about the wrong date and time. I told her that the initial set-up date was for another time and I even had a confirmation email to prove the original appt time. Either way, I decided to accommodate the time as I wanted to make sure we stay on the hair growth schedule. When I arrived for the appointment, the tech was late and I called the office which took a long time to respond. Finally, they got there and I got my treatment. For such an expensive purchase, I was hoping for better service. I will finish off my treatments but not sure I will go back.
