We took our sick senior dog to university to get an opinion about where she could be saved after she stopped eating. The vet was optimistic and willing to do a dental the same day as her teeth were awful, but they ran labs and she was just too sick and now looking at kidney failure. He said we could take her to a major hospital and maybe she could pull through and live a little longer, but we've been through a lot over the past year with her being in heart failure and we know she stayed with us longer than most dogs do who suffer heart failure. The vet was super solemn in giving my husband the bad news and he had a really positive experience despite the bad news that we had come to the end of the road with our most beloved dachshund. We will be taking our growing puppy here in the future like when she needs a spay. Please keep your dogs on heart worm medication. Our dachshund went to a rescue with heart worms and we fostered her through the treatment and then foster failed. She was the most amazing dog. Rescues pets are amazing animals.

This is way overdue. Last November we had a Pit Bull show up on our doorstep. He was in horrible…read moreshape with multiple new and old wounds. His body covered with cuts and abrasions and suffering from a broken hip. After weeks of working with an out of state rescue group and animal hospital he developed necrosis in the area of the stitches from being neutered. We were preparing a late dinner when the bleeding started at 11 PM. We're talking cups of blood coming out. There would be no time to make the 1.5+ hour transit to the out of state hospital. He would have bled out. We had never used Rehm but they were close by, had a doctor in the office and I honestly doubt we could have ended up in better hands. Dr Shine and his trusty assistant Andrea met us at the door. While she worked with my wife to get the info Dr. Shine started working his magic. After saving the dog's life they worked with us on a treatment plan that we could afford. We were impressed by their professionalism, bedside manners and willingness to work with us on alternative pricing/care options. Prices: In this instance I really can't talk to price, it was late and they were the first ones we got hold of. We have not used other hospitals in the area for emergency services. It certainly did not seem out of line for the work performed considering the quality. And then....about 6 weeks ago our small dog started having seizures, coughing and all around craziness. Once again it was later in the evening. After a quick call to confirm the dream team was available we rushed Baby Girl to the Hillcrest Rehm facility. And once again Andrea and staff displayed genuine concern for our baby and Dr Shine possessed the mad skills to remedy her ailments. We moved here about a year ago and up till now have been using different vets for regular checkups, shots, etc. Due to Dr Shine and Andrea we will now use Rehm for all our vets need. I will say they are a bit more for the yearly checkup and shots than some others but I love that warm and fuzzy feeling.

The vet was closed, so we called first thing the next morning. They told us to bring him in at 11am since he didn't seem bothered by it and was eating well. However, an hour later, his cheek burst and blood was splattering out everywhere. We called them and told them, and they said bring him in. Due to Covid issues, we weren't allowed inside the building. We had to wait in our cars and call, and they came out to get him. She was very polite and genuinely sincere when she spoke. She took our little guy in and about 30 minutes later, brought him back out to us and explained what had happened. He had an abscess. She shaved his fur and regretfully trimmed his whiskers in order to clean the wound and give him stitches. She praised him for how calm and gentle he was throughout it all, and I could tell she enjoyed her job. I'm so thankful to have people like her to care for our fur baby. Original review: Doesn't look like much when you first go in. I'm pretty certain the decor and wallpaper is the same as it was whenever the building was first built a very long time ago, but the staff makes up for it completely. Everyone was so welcoming and warm. Wait time was minimal - maybe 15 minutes? But in all honesty, we arrived early so technically we were taken back to an exam room right on time with our actual appointment, if that makes sense. They were very gentle with our cat, Buddy, and did a thorough exam, including his yearly vaccines. He is a pretty chill cat, and didn't give them any problems. Overall visit was great, and we will continue to use this clinic. (This visit was our first!)

I had both a doctor and an assistant. They let me cry, play Sparkś favorite music and were just wonderful. It has been 6 hours and I am smiling instead of crying. The payment was allowed in advance so all I had was a couple of kind people in my home, making my Sparkyś life-end as good as grabbing loose meat from a cookout on the patio floor.
