I had a very disappointing experience with Overkill Performance. My Evo was at the shop for nearly three months for what was supposed to be a 91-octane retune. After all that time, the car was returned to me, but within about a week it began having problems again. When I inspected the car myself, I discovered that both my turbocharger and exhaust manifold were cracked. Before the work was performed, I specifically asked that anything related to the forced induction system be looked over because I wanted to address any potential issues while the car was there. Based on my experience, I was disappointed that these problems were not identified before the car was returned to me. After waiting several months, I expected a much more thorough inspection and greater confidence in the condition of the vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience caused me to lose confidence in the shop, and I chose to take my Evo elsewhere for future work. read more

This is the worst auto shop in California. They have very poor mechanics with horrible skills. I took my hellcat to get fixed and they kept my car for 6 months and charged me $15,000.00 dollars and my car broke down after driving it for 5 miles. The owner Josh is a scammer who lost almost all his employees with in 30 days after taking my car in for their 900 hp package. When I got the car back it only had 850 hp but he charged me for the 900 hp package. I had the car checked out by dodge and they stated that he broke my brand new transmission. I had multiple items missing out of my car when he returned it. Beware of this shop and the shady owner. I took me hellcat in for what I thought was going to be a beast and I got back a broken car and the owner refused to refund my money. Overkill performance is a horrible shop and the owner is dishonest. Don't take your car to this shop unless you want to have the same experience that I did. I will be filling a law suit for all of my money and for damages. read more

Got all my fluids changed using AMSOIL here for my 09' Nissan GTR. Performance is still the same and I saved a bunch of money compared to the dealer. No issues. I've been in the auto industry for 20 years, it is super hard to find a reputable shop to take care of your car. My best friend took his S10 there for some work that many other shops just flat out screwed up. Josh took a look at it just once and immediately knew what was wrong and had it fixed asap. He introduced me to Josh after his S10 was fixed and is planning to bring his CTSV in for some major work. I've sent my TL Type S over for some minor stuff recently and I can't say it enough that these guys are really damn good! If I decide to keep my Type S, I'm sending it to Josh for a major tune up and set it up for flex fuel. And getting a non turbo/supercharged motor set up for flex fuel is not an easy task. But that's how much I trust Josh to get it done right! read more

Despite having way too many EVOs in his shop and not enough WRX's , I continue to come back because of the friendly staff, honest estimates and work, and great service. Josh always fits me in to get repairs and oil changes done quickly. He is honest with the work needed to be done and what can wait until later. He also tells me what he pays for parts, so I have a chance to compare elsewhere. His business continues to grow from a tiny garage to three different buildings and three different branches. Excellent experience overall. Responded fast through yelp. Set up an appointment over the phone, and had my work done and finished that day. Shop is located by all the dealerships off Fulton, and was easy to get to. I didn't see any signs and the address said 2444 outside the door instead of 3444 from the gps. But I knew it was the shop by all of the nicer modded cars outside. Inside the shop was huge and also packed with modded cars which is always a great sign for a performance shop. Met the owner and was able to pay through Venmo. We talked about cars, life and future projects. The owner has built a lot of cars that I've seen on popular social media pages. This shop and owner are great. This shop can build you a 1000 HP track monster or do a simple bolt on install which they did for me. I highly recommend and will be back in the future. read more

They were friendly on the phone and told me to email for a quote on an engine swap. I emailed and got a reply saying that he will get back to me with a quote in about a week. Two weeks go by and I haven't head anything so I email again asking how long they think the quote will take. It has been almost two months now and I'm assuming they don't want to take the job but a reply would be have been nice instead of just being blacklisted. I really tried to be patient. read more
