I ordered a bed from IKEA from them and they picked it up, assembled it, and dissembled my old furniture. They even placed my old furniture in the basement of my condo building. They were clean and took off their shoes upon arriving to my place. The assembly did not make noise and they were courteous and respectful of my other furniture. We hired Master of Assembly to put together a large wardrobe unit from Ikea. We were off to a bumpy start when they originally sent a builder on his own to do it. We then had to wait for another builder to arrive. After that, they worked quickly and efficiently. However after they left, we noticed that the back of the unit was not properly attached. Here is where they earned the 4th star. They came back at our convenience, fixed the issue, and then provided a discount for their error. Their customer service was great (thank you, Kristina). Despite the issue, the way they handled it was admirable in this day and age. I highly recommend them. read more

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING AND SO COST-EFFECTIVE. I've used them a number of times, most recently to assemble a desk. They were quick and efficient, on time, and very polite. I highly recommend them. I would give half a star but I can not. Masters of nothing, they showed up late, did not have the plans we sent I had to provide a copy for them. They got the cabinets together, and then the two hour lunch happened and all hell broke lose after that, two of the four guys left and did not come back. The remaining two took all day to put up the wall bracket for one cabinet. They finally left at 10pm leaving a horrible mess saying that they would be back Sunday morning at 10am showed up at 12pm and proceeded to accomplish nothing again. My counter top is upside down, only one cabinet has doors and I now have to finish it. Adding insult to injury they were asking me for tools and supplies. It is a sad state to be a service for instalation and be this unprofessional and unprepared. Do not ever use this company. read more

I had requested a quote for carrying a queen size bed up three flights of stairs and then assembly of said bed. Their coordinator Kristina replied the next morning with a reasonable quote so I gave her a call to confirm my address and timing. The first red flag was their lack of responsiveness to phone calls. Eventually, she nonchalantly said, "yes, everything is set," which confused me because I hadn't even given her my address. I asked her if she wanted that information before we disconnected, and she confusingly said yes, stating that she thought it was in my email. The day of the delivery, I sent her an email stating that the bed was dropped off on the earlier end of the delivery window and that if they were available to come sooner they were welcome to. She said that she will let me know shortly. I received no follow up to that email, nor did I receive a response to the subsequent 2 emails and 3 calls I placed. 15 minutes after the time they were scheduled to arrive, and while I had resolved to bring the bed up myself since they did not show, I received a call from Kristina saying that they were running late. I asked her why she didn't reply to any of my messages. She apologized and said they were be there around 4PM, which was over an hour late. I was pretty disgusted with the service as is and chose to cancel at that point. read more

Wow, so grateful for this company! True lifesavers! After receiving my online order from Ikea all damaged from the shipment, for the SECOND time and dealing with their useless costumer service, I finally came across this company and thank god I did! The communication was fast, responsive, and nice, my order was delivered within a day (A DAY!), the delivery guys were nice, fast and on time (they did pushed my time slot a bit but they informed me about it a few hours in advance) and most importantly, all the wood pieces were flawless! No marks, scratch or broken corners! This is how you ship an item, Ikea!! The craziest thing about it is that I paid $130 which is $10 less than what I'd have paid for the same order from Ikea (just for receiving damaged items 10 days later). Masters of Assembly came to my apartment to assemble and mount to the wall an Ikea wardrobe. PRICE: excellent rate. I compared to the Amazon home services quotes I received. WORK: The men worked quickly and efficiently and did the job in about an hour and a half. The tall 90" wardrobe was properly secured to both the wall and the existing wardrobes I already had in place. They even tightened the screws on the ones that I previously purchased. When they left, they brought all the packaging to our basement recycling. I would both recommend and would not hesitate to use again. read more

These guys were great; I called on them twice for huge purchases and assemblies (filling up a whole 2BR apartment). There are so many good things about them but my favorite is probably how quick they were to be in touch and stay in touch - if I had any question about where things were, or wanted to add to or change something on the list, I got an email right back. Never had to wonder what was going on. Huge confidence booster when using a new service. I will definitely use them again. Some other good things: -They were willing to (and did) go to three different Ikea stores to try to get everything on my very long list -They showed up right on time for the assembly and worked skillfully and fast to get everything done quickly and to a high standard. We have been living with the furniture for a few weeks now and everything is still perfect -Their prices are way better than 3-4 other competitors I talked to -They were able to fit me in more quickly than the others too. -No surprise after their email responsiveness but the guys who came in person to do the work were super sharp, timely, polite, careful, friendly. After a stint with IKEA's Home Delivery (just don't), these people came and save the day! They offered to deliver next day when I requested a quote the evening prior, and they were very flexible with time since I couldn't do until the weekend. When these guys give you a one-hour window, they really show up on that time. Prices are very low for both assembly and delivery and they even took back a defective furniture and delivered another one the next day. Just had an amazing experience with this company. Chose them because of their good reviews and based on a very reasonable price quote. Had them come to my apartment in Jackson Heights on a Saturday to assemble 14 Ikea pieces and then left the apartment to let them work. Was initially scared about returning to my apartment and finding my parquet floors and walls damaged or scratched - but I came back and everything was perfect. The floors and walls were impeccable and the furniture set up perfectly and already in their respective place. They took all the empty packaging materials with them, which I highly appreciated. Outstanding work. HIRE THEM. I was looking to update my bedroom furniture (finally) and needed to just get a more efficient storage system into place to free up more space in my bedroom. I live on the 4th floor walkup and between committing to something, moving it in, assembling, moving stuff out, I just procrastinated for years. I finally decided on a whim to just go for it, and picked out what I wanted from Ikea and ventured to do the part I was dreading the most. Emailing independent service providers and starting to deal with questions, measurements, hoping I measured things correctly, things that would upset me / make me anxious / worried / frustrate me -- None. of. that. I emailed about 4 service providers on Yelp, and while everyone wrote back, I could immediately see just by the words selected, promptness, complete sentences, what information was provided, that Masters of Assembly was most likely the way to go. I provided all service providers with the same initial set of information and from one of the service providers, I got an email back that said "text me when u check out at ikea" - SERIOUSLY? With this service, I literally did everything on my laptop include design the configuration on my computer, emailed my wishlist and they did the rest. I paid for the assembly + products once the work was (beautifully) completed and I was so, so impressed. I'll recommend them to anyone. The guys who arrived to set everything up got to work right away, worked quickly, diligently, politely asked to use the bathroom (no need!) and refused even my offers for snacks and water.
