I had complained to the company via Chat on their web site and they agreed to waive the shipping cost. I think that's terrific. Here's the thing: I ordered the flowers from my work computer and don't normally check my emails on the weekend, but I did check right after my chat, and indeed, I see that on my order confirmation email, it states that the delivery window is between 9:00am and 8:00pm. When I asked for the shipping fee to be waived, I did not know this! Now, it would have been nice if the delivery window was made clear to me during the ordering process (and not the confirmation email), but regardless, 1800 Flowers decided to grant me what I had asked for, and I think that's TERRIFIC!
